I never been sum1 to do drugs until recent n since then I've lost everything n didn't care about anything or anyone but that drug since then I even lost temp custody of my son due to drugs and I've tried n want to quit for a while even tried diff o.p. places that didn't helpn so far I' only been to 2 meetings at pathways 1 which was a assess for 4 hours but in that assess I talked to 3 diff people all that asked alot of ? N also that talked to me after we was done nI can tell u anyone who is looking n really wants to get clean should go here the counselor over Theo. P. Meetings is wonderful she cares and don't even attempt to judge u.. She gives me hope and shows she really wants to help me with my addiction no matter what... If only I could've met her sooner..i know now for sure I will be sober and she gives me hopes for me n my sons future She's awesome n ur addiction or past dnt matter she does not care u can see in her eyes she cares n even have to know you at all gives u hope

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. (BTWThe food is Great!!)Edgefield Recovery Center saved me. The discharge planner was even able and willing to work with me to find me a sober living home in my preferred area to where I was able to get a job, have transportation and begin on a healthy path!! My experience here at Palmetto was fantastic, educational and therapeutic to say the least. Upon arrival I was immediately excepted into the most honorable community I have ever been a part of in my life. As long as you do the work and apply what is being taught to you it will change your life for the better. 0 stars! My son was DETAINED there for over the 7 day requirement, even though he came in with non-suicidal issues. The staff have been atrocious. He was having a medical crisis and the nurses completely ignored his violent symptoms. His social worker/councilor laughed when he shared his personal traumas. I was unable to get in contact with his Dr, social worker, and the patient advocate to understand the process, progress being made, and find better ways to support my child. I also feel that they continued to document false behaviors (in reports I have been unable to access) in order to bill our insurance company, even though I've made it clear that we are unable to pay our portion. This place is filthy and keeps drug addicts and violent patients in with regular patients. NEVER allow your family to go here. They will take advantage; put lives at risk; verbally, emotionally, and physically abuse patients, and do more harm than good.

I have an appointment for 1:00pm and another one for a different doctor at another facility at 12:00pm. The 1:00pm to draw blood and to see my doctor, i can get very dizzy and lightheaded if I don't get anything to eat; they told me I can wait for a "no show" in the morning I said cool, today they told me my appointment is for 3:00pm, I said I cant wait for that long without for food. I told them to reschedule.
The first time I went up here I let them know I have a service dog that is in training, my professional dog trainer and I have been training him for a year, they said no dogs allowed then ask me for proof, right after that there was an ESA dog walking around trying to get in my purse.

I love this clinic very much. Firstly, the clerk, a brunette lady with glasses whose name I unfortunately don't know, is so, so, so sweet and is always very patient. She never makes me feel rushed or like I'm in the way, and best of all, she always compliments my perfume!! it makes me so happy :) secondly, I see the therapist Jon. I love him so much!! He is the first therapist I've ever truly trusted. I will go in feeling like I am about to go into a crisis and leave feeling completely normal. Money is the motive. The staff was very rude. Wouldn't even consider to heal my addiction in a place full of negativity. They were nice at first, but eventually it all came to light. They asked these irrelevant questions like, "how much money you make? " like who cares!? Its a trap! cause once you tell them your income they up the ante. I believe it should be one rate charge, not charge you by your income. Seriously, is this an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center? or am I dealing with child support? Bottom line, don't go to this place unless your willing to give up all your hard earned money. Thank you cease addiction but no thanks.

Needed to guest dose while driving through town on a very long road trip. Front window staff and the nurse who handled my paperwork were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to do the same to be prepared, communicate with your home clinic and counselor to get the paperwork started as early as possible, that's what takes the longest. My wait wasn't as long as I was anticipating, especially for a Friday. Thank you very much to everyone there that made it possible for me to get my medication when I needed it very much.

I went there recently on October 6th, 2023 as a 13 year old patient. I can't even hold it in anymore. Northlake is a terrible place to go if you're looking for help. There's ants and bugs basically everywhere you go, and the staff are no better. Have trauma and need to vent about it? They'll mock you and laugh because you were young and couldn't do anything about it. They pin you down if you get angry, and they sleep in the hallways when we need anything.
Food isn't any better. it's either molded or under cooked.
Bathrooms are the least hazardous. No soap most of the time and the water gets too hot, but its OKAY- to say the least.
They do not care about you going home. I stayed in the "hospital" for three extra days because I said one thing that a staff member misunderstood.
Over all, Northlake sucks. Do not go there for help.

I was admitted on Thanksgiving in 2019 to the girls ward. There was a transgender boy who was not allowed to be in the boys ward. I was a transgender girl, and the staff were fine until they changed after the holiday.
All of the staff were inside of the nurse's station, behind a window, eating delivery food all shift and gossiping for days. They made jokes about my private parts to my face, and moved me to the other side of the ward behind a door "to protect the girls", which was only told to me by a sympathetic travel nurse.
During this stay, two patients & I located broken glass underneath the gym stage. We were able to keep it and harm ourselves while at the hospital. One other patient admitted to it and gave the glass to staff, but I used mine out of misery with the conditions. I wanted to commit suicide more when I left than when I went in.
The doctors did not listen to patients, it seemed like they wouldn't listen to your concerns and several patients said they were told what to feel, and told what their problem was instead of asked. I've always called this hospital "Silent Hill Asylum" because that's what it felt like.

The Staff was AMAZING!!! They seem to really care about helping you get back on track.... They did many activitys went above and beyond to make it a nice experance. They went out of their was to purchase "goodies" for us to be able to celebrate memorial day... honestly i dont have a clue how they have bad reviews..... Genisis really was very profesional...if they didnt allow you to do something it was to protect all patients and at the end the day THEY HAVE A JOB TO DO.. 10/10! 💚

If you forget to check in, they will just let you sit there and act like they don't know who you are or remind you to check in. Then, over an hour later, cancel your appointment and be rude to you on top of that. Case manager Nakeisha does not manage anything well...her client's sensitive needs, nor her bad and ghetto attitude. Would not recommend

I would like to share as a parent who had a family member in treatment at Defining Wellness. My son was very well cared for here and I highly recommend this facility. Addiction affects the entire family, and, thanks to the amazing staff at DW, we also began to heal as a family.
I am impressed with every aspect of this program.
Victoria and Jenna will always be remembered with such gratitude for their excellence at every turn. This is the best experience my family has had with a treatment facility of this type. Forever grateful.

I just finished 30 days at the Cheyenne Center & before I went in I did my research & from the reviews I was a bit nervous about going cause of all the bad reviews but it was mandatory that I go cause of parole so I went in with a positive attitude to push through the 30 days with success having said that I got blessed with the best counselor there Ms Williams she cares about her clients well being & I learned a lot from the other counselors as well yes I have to admit the staff are strict but we as addict's fail to forget we put are self's there & as staff it's there job to put pressure on us to make sure we don't come back so I would like to say thank you to all my counselor s & to the staff for creating such a structured program that I could take with me & learn from it I give the Cheyenne Center a 4 star rating for the work they put in to deal with individuals like myself to the ones reading this you get what you put in & my advice is if you need help for whatever reason listen to what they got to say & respect the fact that there doing there job it's nothing personal it's to teach us to have a plan & that we can't do this road called addiction on our own thanks again to all staff at the Cheyenne Center Sincerely Chad Garver

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place helped me reset without falling behind in school. The outpatient schedule worked with my classes, and being around others my age made things less awkward. Some groups felt repetitive, but I still got a lot from it.

I have been to several Rehab centers. This the best Rehab I have been too, the Counselors, are excellent. The Clinical Director Donna, is Great. She has a zero tolerance for Foolishness. The groups, are engaging and deal with the coor of the clients addiction.

Counseling and group therapy are the best things about this place in my experience. The staff is friendly and supportive. If you apply yourself and are willing you will be able to learn a lot.
