I never been sum1 to do drugs until recent n since then I've lost everything n didn't care about anything or anyone but that drug since then I even lost temp custody of my son due to drugs and I've tried n want to quit for a while even tried diff o.p. places that didn't helpn so far I' only been to 2 meetings at pathways 1 which was a assess for 4 hours but in that assess I talked to 3 diff people all that asked alot of ? N also that talked to me after we was done nI can tell u anyone who is looking n really wants to get clean should go here the counselor over Theo. P. Meetings is wonderful she cares and don't even attempt to judge u.. She gives me hope and shows she really wants to help me with my addiction no matter what... If only I could've met her sooner..i know now for sure I will be sober and she gives me hopes for me n my sons future She's awesome n ur addiction or past dnt matter she does not care u can see in her eyes she cares n even have to know you at all gives u hope

This place saved my life!! I lost my job , My kids wouldn't speak to me, I wasn't allowed to see my grandkids. I have been to Edgefield 3 times and I will not go anywhere else for treatment for substance use disorder. The staff is caring and compassionate, attentive to the needs of the clients, and puts the client first. There was a new administrator this time I went, Mr. Bobby Rayford, who I highly commend on his hiring of the new staff. He is a delight to be around and even did my discharge plan for me. His concern for Edgefield being a top notch rehab facility really shows through. Good job on cutting back on the snacks, because many addicts in recovery struggle with weight gain. Thank you Edgefield for another beautiful stay. I will never forget the sunrises and sunsets I saw out there on the bayou. If you are looking for a rehab to meet all of your needs, look no further. This is the place.

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Been a patient for quite a while and have had many counselors,,, I would just like to say how Mrs. Selena has been by far the best one I've had. I have built a great relationship with her. I never feel like she judgeing me on who I was in the past and sitting in her office is like meeting with a friend and I think that's gotta be the way all patients can ask for in a counselor. She has went out of her way several times to make sure I was accommodated to what I needed and for that I am so grateful... I know without a doubt this woman is part of the success ive had in mmt &my personal life..For a long time I had the impression counselors were just out to make our day harder than it already is and were judging us because of our addiction but Ms Selena has me looking at counselors different. So again thank you Ms Selena,,, I wish I could do more to show you how much you've impacted me ,,,I owe her big time,

Been going here 8 years even before it was baarts but since it's changed company its been even better i had some doubts lately and so I had a site down with my councilor and she cleared up all my doubts she does care they all do it's not their fault this happened I apologize for being so upset im staying at my home clinic the medicine just is better I gueessed dosed atba sister clinic last week and i think the red liquid they have the dye in it does something to me and effects me bad so I'm staying home where I started my treatment this place saved my life and I need to say that just when you think they don't care they do sometimes being human is making mistakes and getting upset but this place is good they care about not just the recovery but they care about the person's wellbeing and how they are doing. The Dr. Is real understanding down to earth but doesnt play which he shouldnt i like that he is serious but makes you comfortable, he makes me feel like not only have I came so fare from when we first started my treament but as a adult and human One of the best Dr I've ever had and there only been a couple to a few good ones so thank you Dr. Also the director Ms. Melissa is amazing and also so understanding and carew about us all. I don't know the other councilors but I'm sure they care mine does I know that now and the Head nurse Great at her job and so kind! So are the dosing nurses so kind and very nice . As is thr check-in receptionist there is 2 but they are bow awesome . Thank you everyone from Baarts in Alexandria Louisiana for all you do for not just me but everyone else.

Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

This was a very painful step in a better direction for my daughter and because of how helpful the doctor and counselors were we are able to start over as a family. Sometimes life can take some unexpected turns that lead you on journeys that the memories of stay with you for life... But these guys did a great job where they were needed. Now a few of the nurses and techs should find other jobs that better fit their lifestyles and lack of bedside manner attitudes. Yet the leadership made up for the lack there of. They helped and protected my baby as I requested while she was in their care. Special thanks to Hope and Debbie as well as the Doctor. Keep making a difference guys!!! Job well done.

I was scheduled for a PFT but I wasn’t given a phone number or address. We have a very long drive to Shreveport so I was frantically trying to find an address. Once I found the location everything went extremely well. It was very clean and the tech was very friendly! She walked me through the steps and I was through in less than 10 minutes. Next, I went to see Dr. Chambers, the pulmonologist. I really like him! Very professional and thoroughly explained the results and what my next step would be. Bunkie General helped my family when we had a Christmas day ankle sprain emergency. The staff were helpful, prompt and thorough. The hospital also provides an excellent Heart Health Center where I can use the gym which has excellent fitness equipment, cardio machines and weights. The hours are very flexible and there are many patients including some of my friends and family who are members and work through their doctor and physical therapist after surgery for heart and health rehab. These services are essential and well managed. I highly recommend Johnathon the fitness trainer at the Hospital, he has quickly helped me achieve some of my personal health goals.

I went to this treatment program and it was the best thing I ever did for my addiction. Longer programs are more effective and they reunited me with my child and I have had full custody of him for over 4 years now. This is the longest I've ever been clean from drugs 5 years now. People who talk down on this program obviously did not invest themselves in the program to get the true help they needed. Literally the best thing I ever did I'd probably be dead if I hadn't gone here when I did. Thank you to all the staff there who helped save my life!

I went to treatment here for about 4 months. I LOVED IT. I learned so much there, about addiction, parenting, how to be a decent human being etc. The staff are amazing.. they really go above and beyond, EVERY DAY, for their clients. Both of the Amys do such a great job at teaching the core classes and counseling to work on specific issues that have impacted your life. It’s a trauma informed environment. It’s also a sanctuary environment. I highly recommend IFW to any woman wanting help with her substance abuse issues because this place seriously changed my life. 100%.
