Bunkie General helped my family when we had a Christmas day ankle sprain emergency. The staff were helpful, prompt and thorough. The hospital also provides an excellent Heart Health Center where I can use the gym which has excellent fitness equipment, cardio machines and weights. The hours are very flexible and there are many patients including some of my friends and family who are members and work through their doctor and physical therapist after surgery for heart and health rehab. These services are essential and well managed. I highly recommend Johnathon the fitness trainer at the Hospital, he has quickly helped me achieve some of my personal health goals.

I have gone a couple times and the staff have been great I would recommend this place before anywhere else and I have been to other place. This was the first rehab I had ever went to. This was in 2015 or 16 well they were located I think in Lafayette and when I got signed in to stay they were moving like the 3rd day that I was there to sunset location . It was cool to see . The old one looked like a house it was cool . I had came in and almost passed out and the nurses and staff made sure I was ok and saw a doctor and that mentally I was okay . I may not have been at my best but the staff and everyone here was so beyond kind and cared about everyone's sobriety and it was individualized and personal . It was pricey back then I'm not sure about now . I had ended leaving but I never forgot and alot of people will say it's about how people treat you that people remember. It helped me in the sobriety process . They were still kind and wanted me to stay so much but I needed something else . Well because I had went for the time length I stayed I got an AA book and I kept it all these years and today it still helps and has helped heal me. If it wasn't for that place I wouldn't know the AA way.

My grandson is there and I was scared at first I didn't even know what the property looks like or anything but it's pretty much way out in the boondocks seen plenty of corn fields and it's located down a long gravel road I was like oh my God there's not even blacktop roads but we got there and it's like a couple separate buildings and my grandson was so happy he didn't act like he wanted to go home or juvie LOL the staff was very nice it's way more than I expected I had told my grandson that I would like to try to maybe donate some stuff for them to do you know games and stuff like that but he said no mamaw we have plenty of stuff to do I get to choose my chores and I chose to cut grass what she likes because his papa never lets him we're about an hour and a half for longer away from there but it's really nice as we were there they was cooking them po'boys french fries and I'm trying to think something else but he said he's eating very good there and you know they pretty much mentor them and cancel them and they don't see race the one man that works the board is you know the one that told me that and he was so kind to us he seemed like he really cared about my grandson

I was addicted to narcotic pain medicine for over 13 years and my doctor that gote addicted got shut down for writing too many narcotic prescriptions then I moved to a different town and brought my records from previous doctor and none of the doctors I went to would give me any so I started buying them illegally on the streets every day. But when I started BAART 5 years ago I got off of all illegal drugs I done in my life and was no longer in excruciating pain when I didn't take narcotic pain pills. Their program changed my life for the better. The only problem I've had is every counselor they assign me gets to know me and then they change my counselor. I've had like 5 or 6 in 5 years.

Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. I turned to Victory when I was at the end of the road and felt I had nowhere else to turn. Victory gave me not only the chance to live again but also the tools to face life’s struggles and grow from them. Life hasn’t been perfect since Victory, but I’m a better person because of it.
I don’t think many people wake up excited to walk into an inpatient facility, but if I ever had to do it again, I’d want it to be here. The staff and patients truly felt like family. We grew together — supporting each other through every step. The days are structured and purposeful, filled with small groups, community sessions, and learning opportunities that all have meaning.
If you’re reading reviews wondering if this is the right place for you, give it a try. You can always leave if it’s not a fit — but you might not get another chance if you pass this one up. Victory helped save my life, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.

This is my son's second time at woodlake..he was clean about a year. With all the storms and hurricanes and pandemic caused him a relapse. Woodlake center is the best place for anyone to get treatment and recovery.the staff has people who really care about the people they help and understand how to help them put there life back together.they have Education on Tuesday night that helps everyone stay grounded in the program.And Kevin James for which anyone who is serious about changing there life,listening and understanding this man is the key to recovery.If not for him I would not be alive today.thanks Woodlake for be there when I needed them...

I am so grateful for this place and the wonderful staff! I have been going here for 7 years and have remain SOBER for every single day since I first stepped foot in the building. The Baton Rouge comprehensive Treatment Center has saved my life! The nurses, counselors, and other staff, are always so kind. They genuinely make you feel important here. Of course everything has its negatives, but the good completely outweighs the bad. I recommend this treatment center to anyone who is battling addiction to opioids. You don't have to do it alone!
