Just released from in-care for anxiety and calming down. Love, love, love the staff! Groups are very helpful, and participating can be be enlightening. Food had been great on previous visits-not right now, it isn't. Beware of you have asthma, cleaning product grades are medically necessary with so many people going in and out, and are high in VOCs. Get medical Dr to temporarily double your asthma medication, I forgot and I had a hard time catching my breath. Not highly structured at all, and wonderful people helping you. A great place to calm down!

Been a patient for quite a while and have had many counselors,,, I would just like to say how Mrs. Selena has been by far the best one I've had. I have built a great relationship with her. I never feel like she judgeing me on who I was in the past and sitting in her office is like meeting with a friend and I think that's gotta be the way all patients can ask for in a counselor. She has went out of her way several times to make sure I was accommodated to what I needed and for that I am so grateful... I know without a doubt this woman is part of the success ive had in mmt &my personal life..For a long time I had the impression counselors were just out to make our day harder than it already is and were judging us because of our addiction but Ms Selena has me looking at counselors different. So again thank you Ms Selena,,, I wish I could do more to show you how much you've impacted me ,,,I owe her big time,

Been going here 8 years even before it was baarts but since it's changed company its been even better i had some doubts lately and so I had a site down with my councilor and she cleared up all my doubts she does care they all do it's not their fault this happened I apologize for being so upset im staying at my home clinic the medicine just is better I gueessed dosed atba sister clinic last week and i think the red liquid they have the dye in it does something to me and effects me bad so I'm staying home where I started my treatment this place saved my life and I need to say that just when you think they don't care they do sometimes being human is making mistakes and getting upset but this place is good they care about not just the recovery but they care about the person's wellbeing and how they are doing. The Dr. Is real understanding down to earth but doesnt play which he shouldnt i like that he is serious but makes you comfortable, he makes me feel like not only have I came so fare from when we first started my treament but as a adult and human One of the best Dr I've ever had and there only been a couple to a few good ones so thank you Dr. Also the director Ms. Melissa is amazing and also so understanding and carew about us all. I don't know the other councilors but I'm sure they care mine does I know that now and the Head nurse Great at her job and so kind! So are the dosing nurses so kind and very nice . As is thr check-in receptionist there is 2 but they are bow awesome . Thank you everyone from Baarts in Alexandria Louisiana for all you do for not just me but everyone else.

I got lucky with the surgeon Dr Jordan and he realized this was my first broken bone ever so he took his time to explain the options and the implications and he put me at ease with his competence. Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

Things were starting to get bad. I received a lot of freedom from Cypress. The staff was great. The surrounding was beautiful. I really enjoyed the sound baths. I have been to Edgefield 3 times and I will not go anywhere else for treatment for substance use disorder. The staff is caring and compassionate, attentive to the needs of the clients, and puts the client first. There was a new administrator this time I went, Mr. Bobby Rayford, who I highly commend on his hiring of the new staff. He is a delight to be around and even did my discharge plan for me. His concern for Edgefield being a top notch rehab facility really shows through. Good job on cutting back on the snacks, because many addicts in recovery struggle with weight gain. Thank you Edgefield for another beautiful stay. I will never forget the sunrises and sunsets I saw out there on the bayou. If you are looking for a rehab to meet all of your needs, look no further. Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. (BTWThe food is Great!!)Edgefield Recovery Center saved me. The discharge planner was even able and willing to work with me to find me a sober living home in my preferred area to where I was able to get a job, have transportation and begin on a healthy path!! I honestly love this place but the Beaumont office are quite unfair about attendance and one group I didn't know that my camera was off and instead of warning me she kicked me off wouldn't answer her phone and I couldn't message her and if you miss one day you get a whole week added on. Its also not a nice way to handle people that are needing help from you.

Love Dr Isherwood, Laura and each person there!! It’s hard finding a Dr or place in general for help when there is so many who have no bed side manner. They truly are a gift and doing the work of God. It’s very rare to find someone you can be totally transparent with , without feeling judged. Or waiting for the “shoe to drop”. The program, staff, and fellow residents have all played a crucial role in my growth, providing me with a strong foundation for my ongoing sobriety. During my time at the facility, I received the difficult news of my sister's cancer diagnosis and her subsequent passing on November 4, 2025. Ms. Jaline and Ms. Abmer are truly remarkable individuals. I personally struggled with sobriety for a long time and have explored other recovery programs in the past. However, their program was the key to my sustained success. They have walked this path themselves and deeply understand the challenges and Wins of recovery.
