Just released from in-care for anxiety and calming down. Love, love, love the staff! Groups are very helpful, and participating can be be enlightening. Food had been great on previous visits-not right now, it isn't. Beware of you have asthma, cleaning product grades are medically necessary with so many people going in and out, and are high in VOCs. Get medical Dr to temporarily double your asthma medication, I forgot and I had a hard time catching my breath. Not highly structured at all, and wonderful people helping you. A great place to calm down!

Been a patient for quite a while and have had many counselors,,, I would just like to say how Mrs. Selena has been by far the best one I've had. I have built a great relationship with her. I never feel like she judgeing me on who I was in the past and sitting in her office is like meeting with a friend and I think that's gotta be the way all patients can ask for in a counselor. She has went out of her way several times to make sure I was accommodated to what I needed and for that I am so grateful... I know without a doubt this woman is part of the success ive had in mmt &my personal life..For a long time I had the impression counselors were just out to make our day harder than it already is and were judging us because of our addiction but Ms Selena has me looking at counselors different. So again thank you Ms Selena,,, I wish I could do more to show you how much you've impacted me ,,,I owe her big time,

Been going here 8 years even before it was baarts but since it's changed company its been even better i had some doubts lately and so I had a site down with my councilor and she cleared up all my doubts she does care they all do it's not their fault this happened I apologize for being so upset im staying at my home clinic the medicine just is better I gueessed dosed atba sister clinic last week and i think the red liquid they have the dye in it does something to me and effects me bad so I'm staying home where I started my treatment this place saved my life and I need to say that just when you think they don't care they do sometimes being human is making mistakes and getting upset but this place is good they care about not just the recovery but they care about the person's wellbeing and how they are doing. The Dr. Is real understanding down to earth but doesnt play which he shouldnt i like that he is serious but makes you comfortable, he makes me feel like not only have I came so fare from when we first started my treament but as a adult and human One of the best Dr I've ever had and there only been a couple to a few good ones so thank you Dr. Also the director Ms. Melissa is amazing and also so understanding and carew about us all. I don't know the other councilors but I'm sure they care mine does I know that now and the Head nurse Great at her job and so kind! So are the dosing nurses so kind and very nice . As is thr check-in receptionist there is 2 but they are bow awesome . Thank you everyone from Baarts in Alexandria Louisiana for all you do for not just me but everyone else.

Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

This was a very painful step in a better direction for my daughter and because of how helpful the doctor and counselors were we are able to start over as a family. Sometimes life can take some unexpected turns that lead you on journeys that the memories of stay with you for life... But these guys did a great job where they were needed. Now a few of the nurses and techs should find other jobs that better fit their lifestyles and lack of bedside manner attitudes. Yet the leadership made up for the lack there of. They helped and protected my baby as I requested while she was in their care. Special thanks to Hope and Debbie as well as the Doctor. Keep making a difference guys!!! Job well done.

I was not and am not comfortable with groups so going out to AA meetings was not for me. My comfort level was in house meetings and the past speakers gave me a feeling of hope that they chose to come back to chair and share their stories of hope. This addiction is so challenging since alcohol is so available,. Cypress Lakes was, by far, the best treatment facility I have been to. Unfortunately, I have been a frequent flyer to rehab facilities over the past couple of years. I'm kinda stubborn and think I know better. Lol. There is something really special, almost sacred, about this facility. I can't explain it. It's peaceful and beautiful. But, most importantly, it's the staff. From the Executive Director to the Maintenance Staff, everyone cares. There's no judgment. No one's too busy to meet you where you are. The therapy and the tools they teach can really be applied to life outside the treatment center. I never write reviews. If I like/don't like a place, I use word of mouth. However, this facility is outstanding and deserves every once of recognition.

I attended Cypress Lakes Recovery in October of last year and I had an incredible experience!!! I am now 10 months clean and sober and I am truly grateful for my experience there. The staff, the therapists, the food, the view, the activities were all AMAZING!!! The staff were all committed, down-to-Earth and caring. By the end of my time there, I felt a certain connection to them all. They truly care about your well-being!!! No, you won't be staying in the big house, but the dorms are comfortable and you have your own space in your room. They provide laundry baskets, lockers, towels, etc. We had a mix of different groups and classes that were Recovery focused and kept us pretty busy. In our free time we were able to fish, kayak, swim, watch movies, do puzzles together, play music in the music room, and go for hikes. It's a beautiful property!!! So peaceful! Also, once you reach a certain stage, you are able to go to outside meetings if you choose, like A.A. or Celebrate Recovery, and go on field trips (we went bowling). The kitchen staff was amazing as well and always serving us wonderful meals throughout the week. There is always a salad bar, which is equipped with fruit and muffins, etc. for breakfast. I encourage anyone who is considering rehab to go here!!! Thank you, Cypress Lakes ♡ I hope to see you in October for the reunion!!!

I went back to Cypress Lake twice and enjoyed my time There. The amenities are nice and the staff does care. My counselors Traci & Jennifer were both really kind and insightful. And i like the food. The dog Gracie was a sweetheart and had a lot of nice walking trails and other stuff. Would go back again

This place saved my life!! I lost my job , My kids wouldn't speak to me, I wasn't allowed to see my grandkids. So I prayed to God and asked him to help me get my family back and And was told about Edgefield from a friend. I made the call and was accepted the next day. I just celebrated my one year clean July 9th. I have my family back and my grandkids and have a job I absolutely love ❤️! I will never go back to that life again! I have been to Edgefield 3 times and I will not go anywhere else for treatment for substance use disorder. The staff is caring and compassionate, attentive to the needs of the clients, and puts the client first. There was a new administrator this time I went, Mr. Bobby Rayford, who I highly commend on his hiring of the new staff. He is a delight to be around and even did my discharge plan for me. His concern for Edgefield being a top notch rehab facility really shows through. Good job on cutting back on the snacks, because many addicts in recovery struggle with weight gain. Thank you Edgefield for another beautiful stay. I will never forget the sunrises and sunsets I saw out there on the bayou. If you are looking for a rehab to meet all of your needs, look no further. This is the place.

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

I honestly love this place but the Beaumont office are quite unfair about attendance and one group I didn't know that my camera was off and instead of warning me she kicked me off wouldn't answer her phone and I couldn't message her and if you miss one day you get a whole week added on. Its also not a nice way to handle people that are needing help from you.

Love Dr Isherwood, Laura and each person there!! It’s hard finding a Dr or place in general for help when there is so many who have no bed side manner. They truly are a gift and doing the work of God. It’s very rare to find someone you can be totally transparent with , without feeling judged. Or waiting for the “shoe to drop”. ** staff on 3 Tower** Mariah — Mariah is simply the best. I told her I wasn’t feeling well, and without me even having to ask, she advocated for me and got me bed rest from the doctor. She was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cared about how I was doing. She made me feel seen and taken care of when I really needed it. I’m incredibly grateful for her. Twaill — Twaill was there for me through some really hard and dark moments. She has such a great sense of humor and knew exactly when I needed someone to make me laugh or bring a little light into a difficult situation. She was able to balance humor with genuine compassion and support, and that made such a difference for me. She helped make some incredibly difficult days feel a little lighter, and I’ll always appreciate her for that. Nicole — Nicole was absolutely hilarious and made me feel safe and comfortable. She didn’t treat us like we were just “mental health patients”—she treated us like actual people. She would participate in games with us, joke around with us, and genuinely engage with us instead of simply standing on the sidelines. She brought a sense of normalcy and humanity to an environment where it can be really easy to feel like you’ve lost your identity. I felt safe around her, and that meant more to me than she probably realizes. She was professional while still being real and approachable, and I’m so grateful for that. Ashley — Ashley went above and beyond, even after I was discharged. She contacted my new psychiatrist at my outpatient clinic on a Sunday so that I could speak with the doctor first thing Monday morning. That level of dedication and follow-through is something I will never forget. She continued to advocate for me even after I was no longer a patient at Brentwood, and that speaks volumes about the kind of person and professional she is. I’m so grateful for these four women and the role each of them played during a very difficult chapter of my life. They each supported me in completely different ways, and I will never forget the kindness, compassion, humor, and genuine humanity they showed me. Brentwood is lucky to have them. ❤️

Four years ago I entered the doors of pathways broken and afraid when I left out those doors two weeks later I was different, ready to face the world and unafraid I wanna thank the nurse that sat up with me at three in the morning when I asked for the phone to call home ready to leave she encouraged me and told me that the fight was already won!
