Just released from in-care for anxiety and calming down. Love, love, love the staff! Groups are very helpful, and participating can be be enlightening.
Food had been great on previous visits-not right now, it isn't.
Beware of you have asthma, cleaning product grades are medically necessary with so many people going in and out, and are high in VOCs. Get medical Dr to temporarily double your asthma medication, I forgot and I had a hard time catching my breath.
Not highly structured at all, and wonderful people helping you. A great place to calm down!

A family member of mine has been in and out of behavioral facilities for quite some time. It can be difficult following the progress and watching loved ones struggle.
The staff at Oceans (Ms Jennifer) have been extra supportive and gone out of their way to assist in any way they can.

I was addicted to narcotic pain medicine for over 13 years and my doctor that gote addicted got shut down for writing too many narcotic prescriptions then I moved to a different town and brought my records from previous doctor and none of the doctors I went to would give me any so I started buying them illegally on the streets every day. But when I started BAART 5 years ago I got off of all illegal drugs I done in my life and was no longer in excruciating pain when I didn't take narcotic pain pills. Their program changed my life for the better. The only problem I've had is every counselor they assign me gets to know me and then they change my counselor. I've had like 5 or 6 in 5 years.

Needed assistance for a close family member this week who was experiencing suicidal thoughts. I was skeptical when reading reviews however once admitted our family had the best experience. So easy to contact and check on our family member and the counselor Jason kept in touch which us and was very helpful. She was released today and only had good things to say about the staff and facility. She even bragged on the food.

Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

Each night when I pray to my higher power, I thank God that I spent 35 days inpatient at Victory. For the longest time I was in denial and thought I could control my drinking. From the techs, nurses, counselors, admissions, and peers, I learned life-long lessons. If you allow it, this place will change your life. If you aren’t willing to accept change and open your heart and mind to the idea of sobriety, then don’t waste your time. Victory will work you hard and educate you about addiction and how sobriety is key to a better life. Through Victory I found inner peace. After completing my stay at Victory, the outreach and peer community have been awe-inspiring. Recovery isn’t over when you leave, it continues and the support is there. Victory and its peers have become my second family. I know that in my constant quest for sobriety, Victory will always be available to navigate me during difficult times. 😍

I am sober and incredibly happy thanks to Victory. The staff from techs to counselors to admissions and everyone in between are excellent. They are very nice, helpful and truly invested in your recovery. The facility is clean and comfortable. The peer support is second to none and become your family for life. Aftercare is amazing. I wouldn't recommend any other facility for residential treatment and recovery.

Before deciding I was ready for treatment I always had a very negative view of therapists, counselling, and everything else typically included in a rehab center. This location proved I was far from correct. The staff are kind and keep the days going at a pace without it feeling like I am "locked up" or without freedom. The location is absolutely beautiful with activities such as fishing, volleyball, kayaking, or simply taking a nature walk to help keep everyone involved and physically active! Above all the counselling is unable to be put into words how helpful it is. The counselors here care deeply (with lots of relatability and knowledge) and take each case individually to address whatever each client is needing help with most. I am beyond grateful for this program and will never forget my time here (I even got the logo tattooed on my wrist!). If you are someone who feels they are ready to commit and accept help, I HIGHLY suggest this place! I will be attending all alumni events and stay involved with this location!

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. (BTWThe food is Great!!)Edgefield Recovery Center saved me. The discharge planner was even able and willing to work with me to find me a sober living home in my preferred area to where I was able to get a job, have transportation and begin on a healthy path!! Ms. Jaline and Ms. Abmer are truly remarkable individuals. I personally struggled with sobriety for a long time and have explored other recovery programs in the past. However, their program was the key to my sustained success. They have walked this path themselves and deeply understand the challenges and Wins of recovery. I've been a greatful patient of Applegate for approx. 8 years now and I can honestly say that they saved my life. They gave me back a freedom I had forgotten existed . The freedom of sobriety. The freedom to live life as I should rather than spending every second hunting the next high. To Applegate and their staff I am truly greatful.

Four years ago I entered the doors of pathways broken and afraid when I left out those doors two weeks later I was different, ready to face the world and unafraid I wanna thank the nurse that sat up with me at three in the morning when I asked for the phone to call home ready to leave she encouraged me and told me that the fight was already won! Ms. Jaline and Ms. Abmer are truly remarkable individuals. I personally struggled with sobriety for a long time and have explored other recovery programs in the past. However, their program was the key to my sustained success. They have walked this path themselves and deeply understand the challenges and Wins of recovery. They have an empathetic understanding that extends beyond mere knowledge. The journey is undoubtedly demanding, with its share of highs and lows. Yet, their constant support is present.
