I've only seen Jessica Peluso one time so far. I'm very impressed how much she cares for her patients. She set up some tests that I really needed. No one else has even thought about any tests. Everyone is so kind and caring. I would definitely recommend this facility to everyone.

I was addicted to narcotic pain medicine for over 13 years and my doctor that gote addicted got shut down for writing too many narcotic prescriptions then I moved to a different town and brought my records from previous doctor and none of the doctors I went to would give me any so I started buying them illegally on the streets every day. But when I started BAART 5 years ago I got off of all illegal drugs I done in my life and was no longer in excruciating pain when I didn't take narcotic pain pills. Their program changed my life for the better. The only problem I've had is every counselor they assign me gets to know me and then they change my counselor. I've had like 5 or 6 in 5 years.

I love this place really never had any mishaps but with tone of the nurses is my problem and my counselor Cameron is my Favorite And Nurse Blue And Nurse Angela my sweetheart and Dr.Slocum is sweet as well I love them very much and they are very very important and supportive of me and I'm grateful for everything that they Do.

I never been sum1 to do drugs until recent n since then I've lost everything n didn't care about anything or anyone but that drug since then I even lost temp custody of my son due to drugs and I've tried n want to quit for a while even tried diff o.p. places that didn't helpn so far I' only been to 2 meetings at pathways 1 which was a assess for 4 hours but in that assess I talked to 3 diff people all that asked alot of ? N also that talked to me after we was done nI can tell u anyone who is looking n really wants to get clean should go here the counselor over Theo. P. Meetings is wonderful she cares and don't even attempt to judge u.. She gives me hope and shows she really wants to help me with my addiction no matter what... If only I could've met her sooner..i know now for sure I will be sober and she gives me hopes for me n my sons future She's awesome n ur addiction or past dnt matter she does not care u can see in her eyes she cares n even have to know you at all gives u hope
Everyone here is so nice. I am new to the process and the people here really help navigate the processes. The mental health side is super awesome as well.
I’m really looking forward to continuing to come here because even though they may not have it, they definitely set you up with the right people to help you get the care you need. This is what I have seen so far.

Have not been disappointed with the staff at the Fort Polk VA Clinic.
My mother is a patient right now and the staff has provided me with the most information about my moms condition. They answer the phone for me multiple times a day and treat me and my mother with respect. My mom is only 65 and has been misdiagnosed until coming here. They have finally give our family answers and have been nothing but professional and loving! I recommend these people and im lucky my mother is in they're care!

Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

My experience at Palmetto was really good. The counselors and staff were amazing—so caring, supportive, and always willing to help whenever I needed it. They truly care about your recovery and make you feel comfortable and understood.
What I really liked is that it’s not like you’re confined. You have freedom and responsibility—they take you to the store, you do your own shopping and cooking, and you live in a cabin with other females. It really feels more like a community than a program. If there’s ever an issue between clients or if someone feels uncomfortable, the staff is great about rearranging cabins so everyone feels safe and supported.
Overall, Palmetto is a great place that helps you grow, learn, and get the support you need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ready to make a positive change in their life.
I want to take a moment to thank all of the staff at Palmetto who made such a big impact on my life. Macy, my counselor—thank you for helping me see things in myself that I didn’t see before. You truly opened my eyes and helped me grow in so many ways.

And one of my favorite parts was being by the bayou—it was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting out there, fishing or just enjoying the view, really gave me time to reflect and heal. And having all the cats and dogs around and watching the deers in the woods every day we're very therapeutic .

Lincoln Nova is a great place for recovery! Excellent care with superior staffing that cares about the clients. The recreation therapist is the best in the business, and so is Ms. Andrea. You don't find many facilities like Lincoln Nova that allows each client to have their own room! WOW! I recommend Lincoln Nova if you're serious about recovery and superior care!💯💯
I have gone a couple times and the staff have been great I would recommend this place before anywhere else and I have been to other place. I will be calling to go back next week I battle with anxiety depression and a addiction to fentanyl I am tired I want to get clean and stay clean I'm gonna try again and I pray I can succeed this time.

Best place I ever been to. They made sure I was comfortable, they cared, they got what I needed right away. This place went above and beyond and im forever grateful.
Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. (BTWThe food is Great!!)Edgefield Recovery Center saved me. The discharge planner was even able and willing to work with me to find me a sober living home in my preferred area to where I was able to get a job, have transportation and begin on a healthy path!! I arrived at the Hope Center in 2016 a hopeless heroin addict. The warm and kind people here open my mind up to this awesome program. And I have been here in one capacity or another the whole time this place saved my life.. James (Danny) Langlois
Dr. Isherwood has been the best and these people have bent over backwards for me. I thank God for all of the individuals that are working there and have worked there.

I've been a greatful patient of Applegate for approx. 8 years now and I can honestly say that they saved my life. They gave me back a freedom I had forgotten existed . The freedom of sobriety. The freedom to live life as I should rather than spending every second hunting the next high. To Applegate and their staff I am truly greatful.
