Woodlake changed my life. The staff there was very good to me and worked with me whenever I needed anything. Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I will be forever grateful to Narconon Louisiana.
Laura P

I left Narconon in September of 2022.
I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family.
Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members.
This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve.
From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives.
The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself.
I don’t mean to put down anyone’s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias.
Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1?
Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to.
This place only means to help!

This was the first rehab I had ever went to. This was in 2015 or 16 well they were located I think in Lafayette and when I got signed in to stay they were moving like the 3rd day that I was there to sunset location . It was cool to see . The old one looked like a house it was cool . I had came in and almost passed out and the nurses and staff made sure I was ok and saw a doctor and that mentally I was okay . I may not have been at my best but the staff and everyone here was so beyond kind and cared about everyone's sobriety and it was individualized and personal . It was pricey back then I'm not sure about now . I had ended leaving but I never forgot and alot of people will say it's about how people treat you that people remember. It helped me in the sobriety process . They were still kind and wanted me to stay so much but I needed something else . Well because I had went for the time length I stayed I got an AA book and I kept it all these years and today it still helps and has helped heal me. If it wasn't for that place I wouldn't know the AA way.

Various treatment options are available for adults and adolescents. This includes residential care, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Their multidisciplinary care team is compassionate and highly | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Hello! I am Kaylee Lindsley. (THIS IS ALL OF MY STORIES THERE, AND I DO NOT STATE THE NAMES OF THE PATIENTS FOR PRIVACY, AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COME HERE, THIS WAS ONLY THE CLOSEST PLACE I COULD GO TO) I went here the first time in Jan 2024. The stay was nice (WEST), other than getting my hair pulled and beaten on the ground, and all they did with the girl was give her the booty juice and made her stay in her room. I don't remember if she was in the VCR room or not. I also saw the same girl who dragged me making out with her "best friend" on the other side of the room while the lights were off, and a movie was on(2-3 days prior to the fight). I LOVED Mr. Larry, I miss him. AND THE TWINS!! I called them Mario and Luigi I LOVE LOVE LOVEE Mrs. Anita! (TT). Second visit! I was on East, and it was pretty good, I don't remember most of it. Third visit! (WEST) I don't remember the kids that were there except the other girl who made out with the girl who beat me. Me and her started being friends after she told me she genuinely did not want to make that plan with her. Fourth visit! I do not remember a single thing that happened there. Fifth(WEST) visit! It was not very nice, as there was like 6 fights during my 1 week visit, and a boy there who was 16 while I was 13, had went behind me for snack time, and he had unfortunately got too close, and I had felt something on my rear hind. I looked back at him, and he was smirking. Everyone there assumed me and that boy were dating, when we were clearly was just friends, *TW! also not to mention, he had gotten into a fight with some tall big dude, that broke his finger, and his glasses stabbed him in the eye, I saw a glance of that room, and (TW!!) there was blood splattered on the mirror.* There was also a "singing competition" outside (Not the basketball court), and I won first place!! Sixth visit! (Earliest in March 2026) VERY AMAZING! The staff were so nice but some of them were kind of mean. I don't recall SOME their names, but I do remember Mr. Devon! He was so chill and was strict on the diversity between the girls and boys, which I truly appreciated. I also remember the girls there were so supportive. One girl there, was so messy, and she liked to pick fights with everyone that said her name. My (ex) best friend, that went to school with me, went there as well. The same girl that picked fights with everyone, had tricked my (ex) best friend into thinking i was talking smack about her! She ended up almost getting into a fight with that girl that was messy. They let my (ex) best friend in her room, and the messy girl had gotten booty juice for instigating a fight. Not to mention, the messy girl was stating that a guy was flirting with a girl while playing cards out loud, and Mrs. Anita had made a rule for the West Unit that the girls cannot play cards with the boys. That pissed me off b/c they were just having a conversation while playing California Speed! Anyways, that is all I can recall from all of my visits. ALL-TOGETHER, The tech are very strong (specifically the male tech) when there is tension going on between patients (fights/arguments/etc.) I Love Mrs. Anita, she is so funny, and loves to sing, and every time she comes on the unit, the kids would always be so happy to see her. I loved Mrs. Lindsey, Mrs. Anissa, And (I forgot her name but she always wore pony-tails and had a big smile on her face, and was so nice). I would recommend coming here, if you need help, like drama, and like communicating with the right people! (Drama for me, I personally like.) :)
