I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. The staff is amazing here they really care about you and your sobriety. This was the best desicion I took. From Mr Devan teaching and breaking down everything in a way that a 2 yr old will understand it. By the time he's done with you your going to learn and understand your addiction and the disease. About the mental obsession and the physical allergy. You'll see what it means to see someone love and live his calling in helping others. From Miss Tori recieving you on Day 1 when your nervous and scared She'll make you feel calm and at ease before passing you to the next person. To Mr Rick doing your admission even he makes you feel at ease and relaxed and Your treated as a human being without any judgements sometimes you forget what it is to be treated like a person and not be seen as something less. From the Counslers Mr Alfred, Brandon. They really take helping you in your journey really serious. Mrs Ronda and Mario wow do they open your eyes thru certain excersize and experiences That you'll take part in i wont spoil it but if you want to experience life changing moments this is the place to be. The Staff is just so amazing and caring and take their role in helping you very serious and to the heart. From all the Techs that go to the ends of the world to help you and take care of you as best as they can and do as much as they are able to do trust they will do with love and empathy.The detox Techs Rachel ,JT, Mr Henry they make detox very comfortable. In Residential when you come in from detox and the residential techs Felix,Deval, Mr Jefferson,Jada, Carly, Cara,BIG Mike these Techs go all out for you. And they truly love you. As long as your respectful and mindful and respect their time and effort they put in helping you without even knowing you but all these staff members show you love and kindness that you haven't experienced in a long time. and without any judgment and putting you down becasue they been in your shoes and know what you are feeling and going thru casue basically all have been where you are. This is a life changing program trust me when it say that and I garuntee if you really want and take your sobriety serious then this is where you want to go and be. Please if your second guessing if you should go just take the leap of faith and go. you won't regret it and you'll be glad you did. The place is super clean . The food is amazing. Your stay is very comfortable. They try to remove any obstacle that can or will deter you from achieving sobriety so that you can just focus on you and your sobriety. The Baton Rouge comprehensive Treatment Center has saved my life! The nurses, counselors, and other staff, are always so kind. They genuinely make you feel important here. Of course everything has its negatives, but the good completely outweighs the bad. I recommend this treatment center to anyone who is battling addiction to opioids. You don't have to do it alone! All involved with the bone marrow bi-opsy were considerate and helpful to make it a comfortable experience. Main problem was parking for the procedure was not helpful for us since my wife uses a walker. She drives well but the walking was the problem.

The childlike feeling while serving christ really got deeper when I hit those double doors. This church really builds it's people for god in the best ways I never thought we're possible. Staff are good, beds are alright but need improvement, and over all the place is fine but I think the staff deserve better pay since I saw what they have to handle there and I know how medical facilities pay their staff sometimes and the things the staff have to deal with here warrants a increase in their pay for what they deal with

Powerhouse was a great experience. It helped me to be grateful for everything I have in my life. I was given an amazing opportunity to practice the principles I learned in my inpatient program. I was given opportunities to help others and bond with fellow patients. The staff are all Powerhouse alumni and are very passionate and knowledgeable about recovery. I am extremely fortunate to have gone through the Powerhouse program and absolutely recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction who is looking for a path to recovery.

As with anything in life you ONLY get what YOU put into something, including mental health. I WAS skeptical about embarking on this with Beacon only because my inpatient stay many years ago with them was forced. Everyone that I have encountered in my 3 day a week day program has changed my perspective. From Mrs. Lisa, Alyssa all the way through Ms. Jessie and Patricia. I'm enjoying my days a lot more.

Can't speak for today, but I entered Tau Center 3/5/95 (29.5 years ago. Week 1 in the detox ward, 2 in the inpatient wing, 3&4 outpatient. I have now been sober 10,797 days, ODAT!! God is good!!

We have a family member needing help the last 4 months and has finally been put in a hospital that wants to help. Third hospital and we finally have a diagnosis (thanks to St James) and a team of professionals that are dedicated to making sure patients receive the best care possible. We can finally sleep at night knowing our loved one is where she needs to be and the staff there is working hard to give her her life back. She will never be the same but that’s a good thing, her mind was torturing her and the staff there is teaching her how to live with her disease and prescribing the medicine that will help stabilize her. St James is the best place if you have any mental health issues, the absolute best.
