I can see that they are compassionate and have empathy. Christian and Kiersten are also both wonderful. Does not discribe there skill and loving care. I would give a -1 if I could! Only LPN giving meds; copied wrong dosage for my husband and didn’t check BP before giving meds! My daughter found him in a pile of poop with a BP of 70/40! I have the pictures! Only send people here to die, not if you want them to recover!

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I liked the care and physical therapy I got at Haven of Tucson. The CNAs were helpful and friendly (with just 2 exceptions). Sometimes it takes too long to get to you when you have to use the bathroom. When I learned how to go to the restroom on my own things improved a lot. Overall, I am glad I was at Haven and would choose this rehab if I needed to have rehab again!🙂

Response from the owner
Thank you for your positive feedback and endorsement, Stefanie! We want our residents and families to feel connected to our care providers and are thrilled to know our team members made such an impact.

Highly NOT recommended. My dad was able to communicate and do therapy prior to being transferred here. I immediately informed the nurse and staff that he needed dialysis because of the rapid decline in his response and was concerned he had urea. I felt they ignored my feedback and did not take me seriously. They have not been with his process throughout his 3+month recovery, to where I have and have noticed that everytime his dialysis was put "on hold" he would regress. He was non verble and in a fetus position. I kept advocating for his care. After being there for a little over a week he was transferred to the emergency room for Urea. He now is in the ICU and is back on a ventilator and has chest tubes to drain excess fluid. This could have been avoid. Not to mention his mouth was not properly cleaned for his oral care and when I address the nurse did not feel it was urgent to sent respitory to check. He ended up with dry secretions in his airway that may have cause the dip in is oxygen. Complete negligence. They also do not follow up with you in a timely manner so don't expect a call back the same day and expect to keep calling.

Response from the owner
Esther, we’re very sorry to hear about your father’s experience and your concerns about his care at Haven Health Tucson. We’ve noted your observations regarding his dialysis schedule, respiratory status, oral care, and communication with staff. We understand how difficult this must be, especially when you were advocating so strongly for him.
We take this kind of feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand the situation. Please reach out to us at feedback@havenhealthaz.com.

My mom was at Haven for the past 2 weeks. This was her 3rd stay at Haven in the last 6 years due to needing rehab for 1 hip and 2 knee replacements. This is a statement from my mom: “Nobody looks forward going to a place like this but when it’s necessary Haven was an excellent choice. Two of my 3 stays at Haven I had a private room. This made my experience much more pleasant. All of the staff were top notch. Everyone was so professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. Two of the names that stand out were Lizeth and Fred who were wonderful, as well as all the others, but I failed to get the others names. If I ever need a place like this again I would come back to Haven. I highly recommend them.”

Response from the owner
Our team will be thrilled to know they were able to make such a positive impact on your loved one,
Kellie! Wishing you and your family the best.

The Nursing staff, front desk, and doctors were exceptional. The nurses, Amy, Stephanie, and Christian, who cared for my son were amazing! They made him feel comfortable and were attentive. All the caregivers were also wonderful and the doctors carefully monitored his recovery. Thanks to each of you for helping my son recover from this challenging experience.

Response from the owner
We're happy to hear we helped your loved one thrive, Gerardo. Haven Health has always believed our residents should feel comfortable and empowered for a successful recovery.
