While I love my kids' therapist, and the ladies at reception, I'm am more than a little frustrated with medications. Twice their psychologist has left the practice without warning, and without setting up med refills or another psych. We have been trying since August to get refills, it is mid September now. I have asked TWICE in the last two weeks to get my sons medication refilled so he can go to school, and both times the person in back said it would happen, but here we are having to call our kid out of school because the staff who deals with medication isn't holding up their end. I wish there was a way to hold Intermountain responsible for their shortcomings. It isn't like it is retail where a mistake is easy to fix, this is brain chemistry being muddled with with inconsistent medication doses due to a lack of care on the medication teams side.

In this article I will describe unfair and unjust treatment to children I was a former student from 2007 to 2009 I attended the school every day at the time my teacher name was Mike he was actually a nice guy however there was a teacher's assistant whose name was penny during that time I was there I was taking medication for ADHD which had a side effect of making me extremely drowsy which I had no control over despite my parents and me explaining this to penny whenever I would get drowsy she would come over to my desk remove me from class and give me two options spend the rest of the day out of class basically in detention or she would take me down to the gymnasium which had a hardwood floor have me take off my shoes and socks and run barefoot 15 laps around the gym on my tip toes before returning me to class now looking back at this this seems extremely abusive towards myself given this chance that I had no control over my fatigue even worse is she never got in trouble for it and it ended up happening up to three times a day every time I went to school I would actually dread going to school because of it

This place is absolutely life saving! The care the Case Managers and LAC’s take with their clients is TOP-NOTCH! Mandy has worked wonders for me personally so a HUGE shout out to her- just an amazing woman! The staff are literally Angels in disguise. The knowledge and care that the LAC’s share shows the loving people that they truly are; they love us for the people we are, not who we were. Brickhouse Recovery is the best place to go for faith based treatment. You know your loved and cared about as soon as you walk in those doors. If it wasn’t for this place I would have continued down the addiction road and things would have ended up badly for me. Ok... Let's start with the obvious and the easiest way to my heart .. the kitchen and the chefs... Yes I said chefs. The food here was the type that if you saw it on a menu at a restaurant you would think you couldn't afford it... It was literally that good. And the kitchen staff were an absolute joy.
Second... My treatment team... Dr. Sloan and therapist Katy.... I honestly cannot say enough about them. The facility is not funded nor designed for long term care... They not only understood my need for further care, they also advocated for a longer stay with my insurance as well as led me to pathlights program for further care in a php program in San Antonio. They went out of their way to facilitate and insure my transfer, acceptance and travel to the facility. I am now five weeks into my php and, although hard at times, I am finding the proper tools to deal with my PTSD and grief that logan health helped begin.
I will never be able to thank my team enough. As well as nurses like Stefan and others I can't remember their names. I would be remiss not to mention Kelsi... The logan health superhero. What she did for me on her own time and of her own free will and obvious compassion, went so far above and beyond her job description that it's difficult to convey with mere words.
For a man with no reason to live when I entered the facility.... I am beginning to see some light at the end of a very dark tunnel and I have logan health and my team and wonderful staff to thank for every bit of it.
I hope they will read this and understand the true scope of impact they had on my road to recovery.

In a point in my life where I was planning to end my life, my primary provider calmly but firmly said I needed to check into an inpatient facility. I was taken to Logan Behavioral Health. From the moment I walked in every staff member was truly kind and caring. Very quickly the Dr that was assigned to me diagnosed me with PTSD. Most of my previous prescriptions were not made for PTSD. By the time I was discharged, I was stable and had tools to help me cope with the long process that I'm facing.
From the Dr to the nurses to the pharmacist to MHS to HUC to the cooks and housekeeping, I can't express enough how much support and kindness they provided. It's truly an amazing facility focused on each patient. The food was excellent and the facility was always clean.

I had been going to restored paths for well over a month, while in treatment and classes, I felt very unwelcome and not worthy of time. Something happened that left me unable to go to class for thirty days so I had to restart treatment all together and redo the form. While I was out for thirty days I also lost my job and I start my new job leaving only Mondays available and the other days I go to work during class times. While I was explaining this to my counselor, Erica. She then proceeded to say I was being hostile and I needed to adjust my work schedule to accolade them. Leaving me working the weekends and classes THREE times a week. Which our leave me no time for my home life with my child. As he’s in school and by the time I’m off work I’d get an hour or so with him every night before bedtime. She then went and got her supervisor and had her supervisor in the room when they DENIED me treatment and withholding any and all information from me. Because I couldn’t change my work schedule due to it being a new job. Erica has been extremely unprofessional and unwilling to help me. In the industry they’re in, it is their job and duty to be nice and help when others are reaching for the help and have done nothing to be disrespected. I highly suggest going elsewhere for treatment
