Let me be the first to inform you all as a former nurse here and someone that has a passion for nursing. That was treat very disrespectful when I had to choose to walk away from what I didn’t stand for as an employee and a human being. The facility management team is a complete joke. The administrator is very “”Condescending” uneducated and immature in her field. Michelle is horrible and shouldn’t be an Administrator. The DON’s don’t last due to the safety concerns and the lack of support by the Corporate nurse “Maria” a joke too. There is no support and no follow through plan concerning the residents. Nursing staff are over looked and torn down for the effort to short staff and overloading the staff with impossible task that the company don’t provide basic supplies. The staff concerns gets rejected, about previous no hot water, roaches, faulty equipment, items needed in providing basic care is none of this Corporation concern. The nurses are put in very demanding situations when you get 30:1 patient to ratio. And 2 to 4 admission's at night. Respectfully how can patients get effective care. I was employed for 1 yr and I stayed for the passion to do my duties and be apart of a team where the staff is barely striving to make it through the shift. The clicks in the management is what keeps the building is such a disarray. If people would focus on the patient and the important of their needs the resident would heal better. Properly functioning computers, beds, tv’s, and a wide range of activities would be a good start. I wasn’t liked very much because I didn’t fit in cause my priorities was patient care only and gave care that you would give to my own family member.

My husband and I had a horrible experience recently at Aspire. They are absolutely terrible in communicating with the patient's. Here is example on good Friday, April 18th they had to call the parametics, because his sugar dropped very low. As a spouse, I was never notified. I was told the next day by a nurse. My response to the nurse was. Moving please call and tell me. My husband got an UTI infection from not being changed in a timely mannor. I went to visit him on Saturday April 19th. He kept insisting upon me to take his hand and go for a walk. My response no we can't I am not trained. He says to me with a very strong tone. "Get me a walker now." Now, just keep in mind my husband unfortunately has been bed ridden since 12/10. I literally left his room in tears after being visiting with him for (1) hour of this crazy behavior. On Easter April 20th he was a little more tolerable. On Monday, April 21st, Volusia County Emergency Medical received a call regarding my husband. He was transported ASAP to Advent Health ER in Daytona Beach. He had a UTI infection and low blood sugar. He was admitted immediately. As a spouse I wasn't notified until a doctor had called me from the hospital on TUESDAY, APRIL 22nd at 12:45 pm. The doctor was shocked to learn I had no idea he was in critical care unit at Advent Health Hospital. He felt so bad for me. I praised him several times for calling me. He told me my husband was very sick. It was 28 HOURS before I was notifed about my husbands hospitalization. I never rec'd a call/text message from any staff member at Aspire. I checked my husbands cell phone and house phone. There were no phone calls. My poor husband was wondering why I wasn't there visiting him. When I went to see him on Tuesday night. I explained to him the lack of commumication with Aspire. He was hospitalized for a week. A few days later his culture tests came back. He had (4) different infections in his wounds. When the hospital social worker called to discuss our plan of action after discharge. I told her we need a facility that has good communication skills and wound care. We found another facility and my husband is on his road to recovery. This faculity lacks the following: cleaniness, professionalism and COMMUNICATION. The rooms are designed like staying on a miltary ship I am writing this review hoping no other families will have a negative experience like we did. Please don't consider this place for your loved one.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 weeks for rehab it is a very well managed skilled nursing home for nurses in the AIDS were tremendous, never did I wait for more than a couple of minutes for my call Bill to be answered. Meds were given to me right on time. Everyone had a smile. Activities are very good from trivia to exercises to crafts there was nothing you should want that is better. The rehab department was fantastic they make it fun even though you have to work hard I recommend this facility to anyone that needs skills here your hair done while you're there I did and it came out great I received more compliments than I would have on the outside I enjoyed all meals some meals came cool but it was so good.

Recently took a visit at Aspire and was nervous from all the reviews but I took that leap of faith. When I entered the building it smelled very welcoming. The building you can tell have been getting allot of work done to it from maintenance. The residents were smiling and happy. My overall thought was don’t judge a book by its cover or go off what people say.Job well done

Response from the owner
We are so grateful for your feedback!

I have been here for about a month, the food was good, besides a couple times I had to ask for utensils. Nurses are good, they are short staffed on weekends, but they take care of the residents. The workers truly care. It can get noisy at night at times.

Response from the owner
Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review!

A good amount of workers here are wonderful. Kylei is always smiling and cheering residents up when she comes to visit them. The therapy department has been wonderful, i have a long way to go still but they are supportive and cheer me on to do my best in therapy. The facility is nice and clean, but the rooms are small, and when it is shift change the halls can get noisy.

Response from the owner
