About South Philadelphia Structured Living

South Philadelphia Structured Living is a sober living facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While the center doesn’t specifically provide addiction treatment, it does provide a stable environment for those who are coming to the end of their recovery journey and are looking for a safe place to land as they maintain their sobriety.

As for payment, residents pay rent on either a weekly or monthly basis, with rates provided on inquiry.

Structured Sober Living

You can ease into a supportive environment here. You’ll benefit from a structured sober living environment among peers at a similar stage in their journey to you.

While here, you’re encouraged to engage in outpatient programming as appropriate to your journey. Twelve-step meetings are also recommended and various community-based resources will be shared with you to ensure you feel supported during this transitional stage.

Peer support and recovery coaching are also provided to allow you an outlet in which to share your experience, while also hearing the stories of other participants. In this way, you’ll remain actively engaged in the recovery process and connected to a shared sense of accountability and responsibility.

The team can also support you in accessing additional clinical services like psychiatric or therapeutic care from external providers, should you need it.

Fostering a Culture of Mutual Support

You’ll share in a culture of mutual support alongside your peers and housemates. The accommodation itself exists within a townhouse-style building, with shared kitchen and living spaces, as well as common areas where you can relax and socialize.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residents of a sober living home in Pennsylvania pay rent and contribute to household maintenance. For their contributions, individuals get the opportunity to live in a substance-free environment and receive support from others in recovery while all residents practice sober-living skills. Sober living expenses are not covered by insurance since they are not treatment services. However, grants and scholarships are often available to help individuals afford rent for men's or women's sober living.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a syndrome of dependent alcohol use. Also called alcohol use disorder (AUD), the symptoms include craving alcohol, not being able to stop drinking, and feeling anxious or irritable when not drinking. For many people, alcohol rehab in Pennsylvania is a beneficial treatment. Programs offer many levels of care, including medical and behavioral therapies.

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.
