Phoenix House Texas

Treatment at the Phoenix House in Houston comprehensively assesses and treats adults with substance use disorders. Depending on the severity of their addiction, participants may be referred to the outpatient program or a higher intensity program at one of Phoenix’s other locations.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) includes individual and group counseling, skills training, psychoeducation, relapse prevention training, and recovery meetings.

Aftercare is for participants who have successfully completed the treatment program and includes regular check-ins with drug and alcohol counselors and recovery support meetings.

Many major insurers, such as BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, and United Healthcare, cover some or all of the costs of mental health and/or addiction recovery services when deemed medically necessary. Contact your insurance provider to verify coverage because out-of-network benefits can vary.
