I sat down with the doctors who took me through a diagnostic process of x-rays in painful joint area(knee) to view the mild loss and discussed scientifically proven new treatment options. I had PRP and mesenchymal stem cell injections. The doctors are very patient, go through clinical research with you and offer different treatment options for your specific conditions, success rate for condition, and have different packages to choose from based on your budget for treatment. March 25 I will have been clean for 2 years. I have been to many clinics and never have come this far! If I have a problem I get dealt with usually that day and with addiction being fast and efficient can be life or death. I think Dr. Harkin has tried hard to make his clinic a better the typical methadone clinics and I think he’s done amazing job! Not one of the other clinics in Madison can you walk into and say I’m struggling can I please talk to the doctor, not one of them will you be able to do that but at ASAP you can and that’s enough for me that right there is what it should be! When we walk in there in the morning sometimes all we need is someone to say hi , how are u doing with a smile on their face and that’s enough to change that day!! I’m so grateful for my second chance at life….well let’s keep it real more like 100th chance at life!! Lol but I think I got it this time and that’s thanks to dr. Harkin and he’s amazing staff!!

Dr Harkin, is great he is truly compassionate for his patient's. I have only been to one other clinic and they just treat you like a number, they treat you with respect at ASAP and they don't judge. It seems like everyone likes Dr Harkin, you will even find him out in the parking lot from time to time giving fist bumps to his patient's and asking them how they are doing.

I've been taking my brother to the VA for the past 5 years and I am here to tell you that the Milwaukee VA is excellent! Every employee we have encountered there has been top notch! The valets, front desk, speech therapist, physical therapists, occupational therapists, eye clinic, neurologist and home health care team....ALL of these people gave my brother the best care he has ever received in his entire life! I cannot say enough good things about the home health care team! Heather, Rachel, Natalie, Sadhana- the most caring people I have ever met and they made my brother's life so much better and made sure he always had the best care! They never stopped advocating for him and looking out for his best interest. We are so grateful to everyone at the VA for providing top notch care for my brother during his long illness all the way up until his recent death. Came her for a CT Scan. The place is well staff and professional. They now have free standing Kiosks to speed up the check-in process. There are people standing by to help patients use them, so it's not intimidating. I arrived a little early and got in after a short wait.
The CT tech (Megan) was terrific. Very welcoming, explained the entire procedure, and made sure that I was comfortable.

I can’t say enough good things about my time at Great Lakes Men's Rehab. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and understood. They provided the support I needed while creating a comfortable environment.
The program was well-structured and focused on real recovery. The group sessions and individual therapy helped me confront my challenges head-on and gave me the tools to move forward. I have been coming to West Grove Clinic for about 2 years now for my psychiatrist and therapist... I absolutely love both of them... I see Doctor Bracciano for psychiatry and Rehna Ripley for therapy ... They are both amazing at what they do... The front desk staff is also amazing!! They are super friendly and very helpful, every time I come in or call they are able to fix whatever issue I'm having immediately... I'm able to get ahold of my psychiatrist and therapist, whenever I need to speak to them, I'm able to use their extension and they get back to me promptly with a response... I wish all of my doctors were like this honestly. I highly recommend West Grove Clinc if you're looking for a place to come for mental health needs. Among other things that they offer, they are amazing with my mental health issues... I honestly feel like a person and not just a burden or a number...everyone here knows me by name and I've never had one bad experience with anyone. West Grove Clinc is the best!!!

Used to go here until my provider left this company. My provider is great and I continue to see that provider. The Red Oak staff were wonderful. I started seeing Meredith about 9 months ago. She helped me with a treatment plan and has been very helpful and my life is better as a result. I’ve also seen significant improvement in my teen daughter, who has been seeing Leslie for about 7 months. Our relationship has blossomed since we have both been working on ourselves. The DBT parent group (which goes alongside the teen DBT group) was very educational and the group counselor, Lisa, did a great job teaching the skills. Overall, my experience has been life changing and I would highly recommend.

I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience.
The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

I find the Madison Complex Clinics etc. to be managed like a vintage violin. The numerous visits in recent months have been rewarding and my medical needs are being met.
I have been given excellent care with my doctors and nursing staff. Directions to the facilities has been easy - since I am not a local resident.
My visits are scheduled timely and “wait time” isn’t very long. Appointment are business like with a little dash of kindness and personal touch. I am a patient and NOT a number.

Staff were very helpful. Unfortunately I did not ask the name of the elderly gentleman who walked us through the building to the department we were supposed to go to otherwise it would taken us a ton longer to find the place and perhaps miss the appointment. He was so kind and friendly. The desk receptionist and the Dr were equally very friendly and professional.
