Vickie Mason is a wonderfully skilled Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been seeing her since I was 13 when my mother was an alcoholic. I am now 26-years-old and continue to see Vickie for my own struggles. She has helped me through the toughest battles throughout my life. I leave her office feeling as though my soul is renewed.

This place has been very supportive and reliable through my sobriety. Both Jerry's (clinical supervisor and nurse) are wonderful and the others nurses are great too!! They are caring and extremely supportive with everything that has happened throughout my sobriety journey. Being open and honest had been the key to my success. I've been sober for years now and I know that without Madison West CTC, none of it would b possible. Thanks guys!!🙂

I entered the VA system fairly late in life (75) after receiving care through a broad range of health care systems over the course of my life. The Madison VA system is, barr none, the best healthcare I have ever received in terms of both quality and comprehensiveness. This is the best 'thank you' for my service that I could receive.

I have been incredibly impressed with the Madison VA healthcare system for my elderly veteran father. Each dept always exceeds my expectations. Lab, radiology, primary care, acupuncture, and especially the Audiology dept. They are life savers! I cannot speak highly enough of the care, love, and respect they display. Always going above and far beyond for our treasured veterans!

While it's a little hard for me to get to especially during the road construction season the clinic is about as accessable as anything else is in Madison. In July the VA is opening up a clinic on the east side of Madison not far from Sun Prairie where I reside. That should make it a good deal easier for me.

No one wants to go to Urgent Care, but if you do, this is the place to go to. I Had maybe a 5 minute wait, and the staff were all wonderful. Left feeling like I was well cared for and was not rushed in and out. Thx 😊

Everyone was friendly

My experience with ProHealth was top notch from scheduling my appointment to leaving the office after my appointment! Everything went quickly and smoothly and staff was very kind and friendly.

Was closed for a short while due to water damage but opened again. Only downside was the grant terms for testing for HIV were changed so I'll have to get that done elsewhere otherwise a clean place with polite staff.

During my very short time with them(relocated states) I have had nothing but the best people and care, especially my girl Trish(hopefully I spelled your name right.) I am Mexican American and I didn't have not one issue regarding race issues as they are a little diverse in their staffing as well. My only complaint during the short time was, no one tried to help me with housing... One of the main reasons I had to leave. Other than that 5/5 from food pantry, pharmacy, all great! Kevin is a pretty good one as well. Really they all are in the Madison location. Highly recommend!!

I first learned about Journey when a family member was going through a hard time. Their services were so appreciated and they were there every step of the way with compassion and expertise.

As a social worker in the community who has regular interaction with Journey- specifically Crisis- the responsiveness and follow through is wonderful. I had a situation where I was uncomfortable attending to an individual alone. I called Crisis and was able to speak with and have a Crisis Worker who is familiar with the individual accompany me to the home visit. Having an additional person with me, we were able to accurately judge and come to agreement for the safety of the person- that he did not need hospitalization, but rather needed additional support and time to be listened to. My thought is this: Sometimes the greater structure of the system is the issue, and not the resources in the community that have to follow those structures in order to help. I am grateful for Journey!

My experience with Journey Mental Health has been truly life-changing. The care I received was compassionate, encouraging, and inspiring. Over the years, I’ve made lifelong friends through the women’s groups I attended and experienced significant personal growth. It was always comforting to have a safe space to check in every week, especially in early recovery. With over eight years of recovery now, I can confidently say that the positive interactions and support I’ve received far outweigh any challenges. The staff and programs at Journey have had an immeasurable impact on my life, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without their treatment and care. I’m deeply grateful for all they’ve done for me and so many others in our community.

We are having difficulty getting answers about meds. But the care there was excellent.

Everyone was kind , gentle and great at explaining exactly what was happening and going to happen. Means so much as I have never had an emergency room visit for those new symptoms I was having. The Drs made sure they checked all that could be checked related to my symptoms . Highly recommend!

God has many ways to manifest in your life and to guide you on the path of good. I thank God and the Holy Spirit for this second opportunity to improve my life.

I love this organization, the location I visit has a chapel for anyone, it's a beautiful little room to pray or just meditate. They have a food pantry and free community meals are served seven days a week. It's a good place for those in need of nutrition, money help in dire situations, and those people staffing the offices are understanding persons. They never look down on people who need help, no matter the reason.

Great organization on many levels

It was one in a million that I found Gabi! During some of the lowest days in my life, somehow I found Gabi and she agreed to take me on as a client. This was three.. maybe four years ago now?! I can be my most vulnerable with her and know I'm in a safe space without judgement or ridicule. Addiction is a b*&* and climbing out of that rabbit hole wasn't easy. Gabi was one pillar of my sobriety that kept me standing upright and marching forward to a better life. Now that I'm here (the better life) - damn it feels good! Thank you Gabi - you have a beautiful soul, great sense of humor and I'll continue to pay you forever to be one of my friends ;)

I have never met a counselor I LOVED until Gabi Koren who came highly recommended to me through UW Hospital! I have seen her for 3 different/separate specific reasons and still remain seeing her for 2 through Lake City Counseling. I actually look forward to talking with her and receiving her guidance regularly from a Women’s Virtual Group to everyday counseling. I have never felt so confident opening up to someone like I have with her and that was from the very start. I could never imagine trying to have to find someone to replace her, she is a true gift and absolutely 1 in a million, no exaggeration at all!!! Thank you for all you do Gabi and Lake City Counseling, we need way more people in the world like you, now more than ever!

I have been working with Mike Hebl at Lake City Counseling for almost six month and he is amazing. It took me years to finally find a place that could get me into weekly visits versus monthly. The receptionist is available from 9 am-2 pm, and is always very helpful and nice. I was skeptical at first because of a bad review I saw posted, so I wanted others to know that I have had the exact opposite. Mike has taught me so many daily strategies to cope with living with depression and anxiety. I highly recommend working with Lake City Counseling.

Our experience with KinderCare in Monona absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we enrolled our child, we knew we had made the right choice. The staff is incredible – they are not only professional but also warm and caring. It's evident that they genuinely love what they do. Our child has formed strong bonds with the caregivers, and it's heartwarming to see the genuine affection they have for each other. The facility is well-maintained, ensuring a safe and clean environment for the children. Communication through the daily app and in person with the staff is seamles. They are always available to discuss our child's progress and any concerns we may have. The regular updates keep us in the loop, making us feel like an integral part of our child's daycare experience.

I love KinderCare, the Monona location is better than I could have hoped for. I’m very grateful they had an opening for my child

This place took me in when I was at my worse. The staff here is amazing, they check on you 24-7. If it wasn't for them i would probably be dead.

I hear you seen jails better then this or been to better places blah blah blah well the outpatient teacher got me in for free three times and had saved my life they feed you great and let you smoke and also the nurses get me on meds I needed before I left for heroin then also got me in to a free 14 days and approved 14 more days to a impatient free of. Ost never paid a dime also gave me a great report to probation and communicated to probation good enough to keepe from getting sent back to prison. Gave me such good advice to repair me and my father's relationship and has helped me to become the man I am now to hear from my father I love you twice in one conversation over the the phone witch I never heard him ever say In life and also I still have a great relationship with my family if you aint made it past the first hallway it's cause you didn't wanna be sober. Put ur comments somewhere else that don't affect other people Interested in getting clean cause your negative might just keep others from getting the help they want no two recovery's are the same but hands down without them I wouldnt be alive today and they care it might not be your silver spoon place but also they always try to help even if they can't sometimes you gotta understand places wont always look like Malibu on tv and promise the world they do witb what they got and they do very well every staff was always fare and friendly

This place saved my life in so many ways!! I couldn't be more thankful! Everything depends on you will get better, and what you are willing to risk to love yourself again.

I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience. The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

Been a transplant patient for 5 years and the nursing staff and schedules, along with Riley, are incredible in the transplant clinic. When Stepahanie sees me, she takes care of getting my appointment efficiently started. Very blessed to have been a recipient here and cant say enough good things about all those working in the transplant clinic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My daughter was 6 months when she had her surgery on her heart. They took really good care of her and made her happy. Some of the nurses need to learn how to treat the parents though!!

I came here not expectin' much, but yo… Madison Detox really stepped up. They helped me detox safe, and I didn’t feel judged at all. Staff was chill, food wasn’t bad either 💯. Beds were comfy too, which mattered 'cause I was strugglin’ that first night . Now I’m clear-headed, clean, and finally got a plan. This spot gave me the push I needed. :)
