I only have had one session so far, But I've loved it ever since I walked in. I rate this place five out of five! My only complaint is the ocean noises. I have a fear of water and it slightly scared me. Other than that, it's a wonderful place!

EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, but more importantly they DID THEIR JOB

This clinic only works for people who put in the work just like other clinics but what sets it apart is caring staff here to refer you to any resource you need based on your own goals and needs regardless of where you are in your life or addiction.

I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience. The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

This place saved my life in so many ways!! I couldn't be more thankful! Everything depends on you will get better, and what you are willing to risk to love yourself again.

UW hospital has been nothing short of amazing since day 1. From the vallet car parking they offer to people who are sick or in need of assistance, to the kind nurses and doctors and the schedulers who are kind and patient. Today Luka assisted me in scheduling and I was more than impressed with the kindness, patience and professional demeanor shown through even a few bumps in the schedule. Among others, Luka in scheduling at UW hospital is fantastic and genuinely kind. So appreciated!

Had court ordered assessment a year and a half ago. Basic documentation still not sent to sheriff and dot as requested three times. Just your usual people working for a place for a check. Also, the only counseling they offered me was basically solitary confinement with some person who had taken an online counseling course for several grueling interrogation sessions. All for an OWI charge that was thrown out so I was never convicted of any sort of drug related crime. However, I have no chance of getting my driver's license back due to their non-compliance with my simple request for them to send the records that I showed up as ordered for their assessment and all the appointments they racked up at the expense of my time and money. I needed that driver's license for the last 35 years of full-time employment and to pay for every aspect of raising two families and then child support which peaked at thousands of dollars a month. I get it, Johnson co Ia. I am a working man, and I cannot win under any circumstances. Their solution is the regressive and flawed model of any health care issue treatment, including addiction. Just another tax and punishment hoop to jump through in the land of the free and brave.

Mercy, I'm so grateful for finding this place. Mental health care is important and thanks to them I took the reins of my life, I can say I live better now!

Became a member Nov 2024 and have volunteered a few hours per week for the last 7 months. This mental health support clubhouse has shown endless kindness and acceptance of my quirky presence. I receive 100 times what I can give in the form of enthusiasm for a deranged individual making small progress in Recovery from a misguided life. This collection of wonderful people show limitless support for somewhat troubled people. Employment, Housing, and Recovery resources, as well as amazing display of support and encouragement for a disadvantaged segment of the community. Beautiful place for mentally ill people in Madison Wisconsin

This place is great for socializing. I love this place because all of the people there are cute. Please visit sometime, I want to see more people there.

This is the best councilling center ever! Shelly absolutely saved my life and to this day I think of her fondly. I would still be going here if I lived in Wisconsin.

Great people! They have helped me a lot through excellent therapies. All the staff, in general, is very nice.

Everyone we have worked with at Uplands has been so helpful and a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend them enough. Their madison office is comfortable and inviting. The office staff is also helpful an accommodating.

If you are genuinely searching for help to recover from addiction, go elsewhere else, please. They don't care about helping you or making things easier for you. Go somewhere where you'll be appreciated for being a human being and not just for your money.

The staff are wonderful and understanding.

I've been going here for a decade, and it's helped me through the years. Whoever says this place is bad must have been up to something and it didn't work out for them (meds), maybe not honest, or the wrong therapist. They care

Idk. Maybe my experience was different from everyone else. Maybe my daughter is different. idk. But I'm a single dad Raise, my daughter, since 8 months old. She grew up quick. By the time I knew it, she was running away. I was doing nothing wrong as a parent. Sure, I want perfect. But she had a loving cast around her. But she just was having problems in her mind. No, mom. Idk. But cps got involved cause I mean I'm calling the police when my child runs right. She got a case worker. Deb McDaniel. I was very sus with her. This isn't want I imagined for my daughter. But I did the process. Again I'm went thru some shit as a child as well. But I trusted Deb with her. I did the process. My daughter at the moment has 3 jobs just bought her first car. 2024 model. And is doing amazing. I'm crying as I type this. Thank so much Deb. Deb went above and beyond for her. Beyond anything I ever expected. She is someone who takes her job seriously. I called she always answered. Always. She never hesitated. I owe you more then this post Deb. I understand where all you are coming from. Trust me, I do. I had my doubts. But my daughter is 21 and it's night and day. Be patient with them. Love them. Be honest. They hear you I promise. Again thank you Deb. 😊

Im surprised by how low the reviews are. I have been coming here for 8 years and while I’ve had alot of ups and downs in that time, sometimes with staff, the overwhelming amount of time they have been very helpful. They always help me at least 🤷‍♀️

Claudia Kline is the best counsoler By far. She is very compassionate & caring. I wouldn't ask for somebody better to tell my life story too. Claudia Kline if you see this. I just want to say thank you .
