I had knee replacement surgery one year ago. Leading up to the surgery, physical therapy after surgery and my most recent year folliw-up has been a pleasant experience. I got into my appointments on the scheduled times and many times even early. The Doctors, nurses, and support staff all were very caring and concerned. Highly recommend Stoughton Hospital.

I really enjoyed all the staff they were so wonderful and courtesy. Especially the Dr. He had a way of telling me the bad news about not having knee surgery. When I left I was so confident that I could lose the weight. He is such a awesome DR. I have accepted his knowledge and I now see things differently. Thank you all.

As far as psych unuts go, this one is *TOP* of my list!! The food is AMAZING, the people are WONDERFUL, the programs they do and the support they provide are absolutely the best I've had (and, I'm not ashamed to say I've been to *many* different inpatient units over my lifetime. 😅 Being able to go in when you realize you're out of sorts or not feeling safe is VERY important!! We don't talk enough about mental health in the world, and it's just as important as physical care!)
Anyway.... 10/10... HIGHLY recommend!

Although I have nothing to compare this program to, I found my care to be top notch. Okay, the beds are a bit hard but the doctors, social workers and the nurses (almost forgot to mention the OT folks) were incredibly kind and effective. In my opinion, the inpatient program is as successful as the work you put into it. There is no magic cure; just need to pull yourself up by the britches and dive in.
Oh- the food is quite good as well!
I would highly recommend this inpatient psychiatric programming!

Lab, radiology, primary care, acupuncture, and especially the Audiology dept. They are life savers! I cannot speak highly enough of the care, love, and respect they display. While it's a little hard for me to get to especially during the road construction season the clinic is about as accessable as anything else is in Madison. In July the VA is opening up a clinic on the east side of Madison not far from Sun Prairie where I reside. That should make it a good deal easier for me.

March 25 I will have been clean for 2 years. I have been to many clinics and never have come this far! If I have a problem I get dealt with usually that day and with addiction being fast and efficient can be life or death. I think Dr. Harkin has tried hard to make his clinic a better the typical methadone clinics and I think he’s done amazing job! Not one of the other clinics in Madison can you walk into and say I’m struggling can I please talk to the doctor, not one of them will you be able to do that but at ASAP you can and that’s enough for me that right there is what it should be! When we walk in there in the morning sometimes all we need is someone to say hi , how are u doing with a smile on their face and that’s enough to change that day!! I’m so grateful for my second chance at life….well let’s keep it real more like 100th chance at life!! Lol but I think I got it this time and that’s thanks to dr. Harkin and he’s amazing staff!!

Dr Harkin, is great he is truly compassionate for his patient's. I have only been to one other clinic and they just treat you like a number, they treat you with respect at ASAP and they don't judge. It seems like everyone likes Dr Harkin, you will even find him out in the parking lot from time to time giving fist bumps to his patient's and asking them how they are doing.

This is a decent facility that includes professional amenities.
Has a good kitchen.
At least three meals a day available, activities including a gym, disc golf course, basketball court and a WALK course.
Other activities include a TV room, computer lab, therpy sessions and consumers.
Staff is promt with dealing with issuess.
Overall this place is a safe zone while some clients cant meet the grade.

During my very short time with them(relocated states) I have had nothing but the best people and care, especially my girl Trish(hopefully I spelled your name right.) I am Mexican American and I didn't have not one issue regarding race issues as they are a little diverse in their staffing as well. My only complaint during the short time was, no one tried to help me with housing... One of the main reasons I had to leave. Other than that 5/5 from food pantry, pharmacy, all great! Kevin is a pretty good one as well. Really they all are in the Madison location. Highly recommend!!

As a social worker in the community who has regular interaction with Journey- specifically Crisis- the responsiveness and follow through is wonderful. I had a situation where I was uncomfortable attending to an individual alone. I called Crisis and was able to speak with and have a Crisis Worker who is familiar with the individual accompany me to the home visit. Having an additional person with me, we were able to accurately judge and come to agreement for the safety of the person- that he did not need hospitalization, but rather needed additional support and time to be listened to. My thought is this: Sometimes the greater structure of the system is the issue, and not the resources in the community that have to follow those structures in order to help. I am grateful for Journey!

Over the years, I’ve made lifelong friends through the women’s groups I attended and experienced significant personal growth. I love this organization, the location I visit has a chapel for anyone, it's a beautiful little room to pray or just meditate. They have a food pantry and free community meals are served seven days a week. It's a good place for those in need of nutrition, money help in dire situations, and those people staffing the offices are understanding persons. They never look down on people who need help, no matter the reason.

My husbands Psychotherapist is Terri Mattingly. She is treating him for PTSD/Anxiety because of a major accident he was involved in. After 2 session's we are learning how to positively channel the anxiety we both are feeling as she had welcomed me to sit in on his sessions. Today we got to meet her dog Georgie who is a therapy dog, she is so cool and the therapy room is so warm and relaxing as well. Terrie makes us both feel so at ease while we are there and is very easy to open up to. We really are enjoying our experience there so far. The staff there is super friendly too. This is our first time seeking this kind of help and we both highly recommend them to anyone seeking this type of intervention for whatever issues they may be facing.

It was one in a million that I found Gabi! During some of the lowest days in my life, somehow I found Gabi and she agreed to take me on as a client. This was three.. maybe four years ago now?! I can be my most vulnerable with her and know I'm in a safe space without judgement or ridicule. Addiction is a b*&* and climbing out of that rabbit hole wasn't easy. I have never met a counselor I LOVED until Gabi Koren who came highly recommended to me through UW Hospital! I have seen her for 3 different/separate specific reasons and still remain seeing her for 2 through Lake City Counseling. I actually look forward to talking with her and receiving her guidance regularly from a Women’s Virtual Group to everyday counseling. I have never felt so confident opening up to someone like I have with her and that was from the very start. I could never imagine trying to have to find someone to replace her, she is a true gift and absolutely 1 in a million, no exaggeration at all!!! I have been working with Mike Hebl at Lake City Counseling for almost six month and he is amazing. It took me years to finally find a place that could get me into weekly visits versus monthly. The receptionist is available from 9 am-2 pm, and is always very helpful and nice. I was skeptical at first because of a bad review I saw posted, so I wanted others to know that I have had the exact opposite. Mike has taught me so many daily strategies to cope with living with depression and anxiety. I highly recommend working with Lake City Counseling.

Our experience with KinderCare in Monona absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we enrolled our child, we knew we had made the right choice.
The staff is incredible – they are not only professional but also warm and caring. It's evident that they genuinely love what they do. Our child has formed strong bonds with the caregivers, and it's heartwarming to see the genuine affection they have for each other.
The facility is well-maintained, ensuring a safe and clean environment for the children.
Communication through the daily app and in person with the staff is seamles. They are always available to discuss our child's progress and any concerns we may have. The regular updates keep us in the loop, making us feel like an integral part of our child's daycare experience.
