Was closed for a short while due to water damage but opened again. Only downside was the grant terms for testing for HIV were changed so I'll have to get that done elsewhere otherwise a clean place with polite staff.

During my very short time with them(relocated states) I have had nothing but the best people and care, especially my girl Trish(hopefully I spelled your name right.) I am Mexican American and I didn't have not one issue regarding race issues as they are a little diverse in their staffing as well. My only complaint during the short time was, no one tried to help me with housing... One of the main reasons I had to leave. Other than that 5/5 from food pantry, pharmacy, all great! Kevin is a pretty good one as well. Really they all are in the Madison location. Highly recommend!!

My experience with Journey Mental Health has been truly life-changing. The care I received was compassionate, encouraging, and inspiring. Over the years, I ve made lifelong friends through the women s groups I attended and experienced significant personal growth. It was always comforting to have a safe space to check in every week, especially in early recovery.With over eight years of recovery now, I can confidently say that the positive interactions and support I ve received far outweigh any challenges. The staff and programs at Journey have had an immeasurable impact on my life, and I wouldn t be where I am today without their treatment and care. I m deeply grateful for all they ve done for me and so many others in our community.

As a social worker in the community who has regular interaction with Journey- specifically Crisis- the responsiveness and follow through is wonderful. I had a situation where I was uncomfortable attending to an individual alone. I called Crisis and was able to speak with and have a Crisis Worker who is familiar with the individual accompany me to the home visit. Having an additional person with me, we were able to accurately judge and come to agreement for the safety of the person- that he did not need hospitalization, but rather needed additional support and time to be listened to. My thought is this: Sometimes the greater structure of the system is the issue, and not the resources in the community that have to follow those structures in order to help. I am grateful for Journey!

I am not sure why there are so many less than stellar reviews here. I had a traffic citation that required me to get a drivers safety plan and clinical assessment here, and they took incredible care of me. The young woman that I was assigned to took so much time to really understand me and take care of everything the way it needed to be done. She was beyond amazing and I suggest that if you have to come through here that you request her by name. Her name is Ashley R. Newell, and she is just wonderful in every way. I wish she could know how much I appreciate her. Also, Sherri L. Schroeder helped get me squared away and point me to where I needed to go when I was completely lost in the sauce. I wish there was some way that this review could reach them. Long story short though, if you need ANYTHING, reach out two these two women, because they are absolute professionals and experts in the subject matter that they practice.

It was one in a million that I found Gabi! During some of the lowest days in my life, somehow I found Gabi and she agreed to take me on as a client. This was three.. maybe four years ago now?! I can be my most vulnerable with her and know I'm in a safe space without judgement or ridicule. Addiction is a b*&* and climbing out of that rabbit hole wasn't easy. Gabi was one pillar of my sobriety that kept me standing upright and marching forward to a better life. Now that I'm here (the better life) - damn it feels good! Thank you Gabi - you have a beautiful soul, great sense of humor and I'll continue to pay you forever to be one of my friends ;)

I have never met a counselor I LOVED until Gabi Koren who came highly recommended to me through UW Hospital! I have seen her for 3 different/separate specific reasons and still remain seeing her for 2 through Lake City Counseling. I actually look forward to talking with her and receiving her guidance regularly from a Women s Virtual Group to everyday counseling. I have never felt so confident opening up to someone like I have with her and that was from the very start. I could never imagine trying to have to find someone to replace her, she is a true gift and absolutely 1 in a million, no exaggeration at all!!! Thank you for all you do Gabi and Lake City Counseling, we need way more people in the world like you, now more than ever!

I have been working with Mike Hebl at Lake City Counseling for almost six month and he is amazing. It took me years to finally find a place that could get me into weekly visits versus monthly. The receptionist is available from 9 am-2 pm, and is always very helpful and nice. I was skeptical at first because of a bad review I saw posted, so I wanted others to know that I have had the exact opposite. Mike has taught me so many daily strategies to cope with living with depression and anxiety. I highly recommend working with Lake City Counseling.

I recently transitioned from another health system where my privacy was consistently violated to accommodate the learning outcomes of UW students and doctors/professors. My requests for privacy were consistently met with opposition and during two surgeries, they were completely overridden and my body was treated as a specimen.Due to those experiences I transitioned my insurance and care to the SSM system at the beginning of this year. During my recent procedure at St. Mary s/ SSM Hospital, not for one moment did I feel a lack of respect for my wishes or privacy. In fact, in the patient privacy notice that sits on the desk when you check in, it clearly states to patients, they have the right to refuse students in their procedures at any time. I can honestly say, I was treated as a human being and with respect for the first time in over a year. I m beyond grateful for both the treatment and care that I received.

I was treated very well and the doctors and nurses made sure that everything was good with me. Before. They released me a very good Doctor and nurses.

I love this organization, the location I visit has a chapel for anyone, it's a beautiful little room to pray or just meditate. They have a food pantry and free community meals are served seven days a week. It's a good place for those in need of nutrition, money help in dire situations, and those people staffing the offices are understanding persons. They never look down on people who need help, no matter the reason.

Great organization on many levels

God has many ways to manifest in your life and to guide you on the path of good. I thank God and the Holy Spirit for this second opportunity to improve my life.

The clubhouse is kept clean and safe. There are 4 large meeting rooms. Plenty of parking spaces. Whole coffee beans are ground each day and coffee is delicious. Soda is also available.

Really professional and respectful staff but sometimes they tend to be so disorganized and make me upset

I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience.The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

This place saved my life in so many ways!! I couldn't be more thankful! Everything depends on you will get better, and what you are willing to risk to love yourself again.

Got in on time. Dr Malik is such a good Dr. Concerned, listens and thorough. I always leave feeling like my health was truly addressed.

PA Ozkan is so kind, careful and thorough. She is very skilled and one of the very best PAs at UW Health and that is saying a lot. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the scans but even more of her knowledge of the evidence. Outstanding help in clinic - everyone was professional as always.

I hear you seen jails better then this or been to better places blah blah blah well the outpatient teacher got me in for free three times and had saved my life they feed you great and let you smoke and also the nurses get me on meds I needed before I left for heroin then also got me in to a free 14 days and approved 14 more days to a impatient free of. Ost never paid a dime also gave me a great report to probation and communicated to probation good enough to keepe from getting sent back to prison. Gave me such good advice to repair me and my father's relationship and has helped me to become the man I am now to hear from my father I love you twice in one conversation over the the phone witch I never heard him ever say In life and also I still have a great relationship with my family if you aint made it past the first hallway it's cause you didn't wanna be sober. Put ur comments somewhere else that don't affect other people Interested in getting clean cause your negative might just keep others from getting the help they want no two recovery's are the same but hands down without them I wouldnt be alive today and they care it might not be your silver spoon place but also they always try to help even if they can't sometimes you gotta understand places wont always look like Malibu on tv and promise the world they do witb what they got and they do very well every staff was always fare and friendly

I see a lot of negative reviews on here and want to make it clear that they must be from the crisis center or detox center. You ll see this on a lot of rehabs google reviews. I noticed the rehabs without detox or crisis center will earn higher reviews.I ve been working with them to get a family member admitted for inpatient rehab and have been very satisfied with their customer service.

A counselor here helped me more than I could imagine.

My therapist Julia has made such a significant impact on my healing. She has helped me in humanizing my emotions to my trauma. Without judgment, she has brought to me self-awareness of how I can make positive changes to build upon my strengths. Seeking mental help has changed my life. A big thanks to Julia for supporting my in journey to healing.

The best decision I have ever made was starting therapy at the Psychology Center.

Lea McIntosh is an amazing therapist! I've been seeing her regularly for over 2 years now and I'm always happy with our sessions. She is kind, listens well, easy to talk to and has helpful advice and resources. 5 stars for Lea! I've seen Dan Goodnature once (before meeting Lea) but he gave bad advice for my OCD. I asked him if the advice he provided might make the problem worse and offered my reasoning why and then he agreed and told me not to follow that advice. He was very nice though so I'd give him 3 stars. I would give Ronald May negative stars if possible. He was rude, arrogant, argumentative, unprofessional and unhelpful. He ended my couple's therapy session early after yelling at my boyfriend. -

I only have had one session so far, But I've loved it ever since I walked in.I rate this place five out of five! My only complaint is the ocean noises. I have a fear of water and it slightly scared me.Other than that, it's a wonderful place!
