About Confidential Care

Confidential Care is a substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facility that is designed for people who have mild addiction in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

This facility only provides outpatient care and specifically focuses on people who previously experienced trauma as well as helping to transition people into stable housing and lifestyles once they complete the program. Aftercare is a major component of this program to help people maintain their sobriety and reintegrate back into regular life.

Low Intensity Outpatient Support

All treatment at Confidential Care is provided on an outpatient basis and at a low intensity level. For that reason, this facility is best suited for individuals who have less severe addiction or have already successfully completed detox or medication assisted treatment elsewhere.

They can also be a fit for patients who have completed a residential or intensive outpatient program (IOP) before enrolling here. While attending care here, clients can access group or individual counseling and trauma related therapy.

Additionally, people can also access other services such as nutrition counseling, health and wellness counseling, recreation, or even spiritual counseling.

An Emphasis on Aftercare

Aftercare is one of the core pillars at Confidential Care. While here, case managers will work to help you create a long term recovery plan that will include continuous support to avoid relapse. Some of this support can include connecting you with sober living facilities, career guidance, or even community support groups. Confidential Care currently accepts self payment.

If I could rate them the worst in the world I would! Dr jay and Dr vjay have ruined my life. Their medical negligence have cost me freedom. I was 8 years old when I seen Dr jay for the first time. He would continuously change my medication every 2 weeks. He would always give me samples because he would profit off each one he got rid of. At 10 I was in my first mental hospital for anxiety at 12 years old he put me on benzodiazapines 12 I was still a baby. Because I stayed with the office until I think 16 I became addicted to them. He gave me medication for people over 18 years old! I had to get blood test and my heart checked weekly. I am now 29 I have been medicated since I was 8. The chemicals in my brain are permanently messed up and I will have to be on them the rest of my life and come to find out I'm on the spectrum. Something he told me nothing about because he seen me as a paycheck! His wife is the same way! I don't hate people but I will tell you if I could I would do anything for them not to be able to practice anymore. PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THESE ABUSERS! My name is Leanna and I am a victim of these people and I will never stop talking about how horrible of people they were

I don't know where I would be with out Dr. Vijay. She has helped me greatly the last 2 plus years. It's very hard to get the courage built up to talk to someone to let them know you need help. I wish I had done so much sooner. These last few months have been brutal but she has greatly helped me. I'd recommend anyone needing help give her a call.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Called to see if they were taking new patients and if they accepted my insurance, said no and basically hung up on me. I had a follow up question but I didn't get to ask. very rude.

Horrible used to go there years ago and had no problem getting the meds that helped me manage bipolar and severe anxiety well they must have gotten in trouble for acting like legal drug dealers and handing out pills like candy in exchange for financial gain and assuming they lost their ability to give anything that is a controlled substance at all, refused to give me my meds and said no doctor will and treated me like a drug addict which I am not and I had no problem taking a drug test DO NOT RECOMEND

I've been going to Confidential Care for just over 4 years now, I'm a patient of Dr. Vijay. I know there are negative reviews but I like her and this place. I've had really poor experiences with 2-3 other psychiatrist over the years and Dr. Vijay's definitely the best that I've experienced. She shows genuine concern and she listened to a little bit off feedback from me on what's worked in the past before just prescribing something. I personally like the fact that she's a female too, maybe that's the big difference between her and the other doctors that I've seen. The staff is pretty nice too! Doris always asks to see pics of my kids, it's really sweet.

I've been going to Dr. V. Jaychandran for many years now and she has always been compassionate and caring. Thanks to her my depression is under control now.

If you need any psychiatry, give Dr. Sanker an honest try. Stay long enough for him to get to know you and just what you are all about! Since he has downsized, apts are much quicker and wait times are better then average. The handful of staff is great. The office is in a bldg with several other places that may suit your needs, like eye dr, PT, dentistry- even insurance. One stop shop to get your business taken care of! The 3 ladies running the front end are more then helpful and accomodating. Go open minded, if you do not talk, then obviousely the Dr cannot treat you accordingly- Good Luck - Be Healthy and Happy!
