About Esther House
Esther House is located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and is a faith-based, supportive sober living environment for women in recovery from substance use disorders. What strikes us most about Esther House is their efforts to drive continuous positive impact on the lives of adult women from a Christian framework. If you’ve completed primary addiction treatment or are in the stages of early recovery, this supportive environment may be a great next step for you.
Esther House doesn’t bill insurance and isn’t a rehab per se, but you’ll be invited to pay a modest program fee towards room and board. Support from donors and local churches help to offset operational costs to make the program accessible to you if you have limited funds. Their office staff will work with you to determine an agreement.
Enjoyable Activities in Grand Rapids
We like that Esther House is located near the Mississippi River, as this is a beautiful place with walking paths and opportunities for peace and meditation. Nearby parks include Old Central School Park and Sylvan Park, which is another peaceful setting. Proximity to Itasca County Family YMCA and community centers enable access to fitness and family-friendly activities.
There’s also downtown Grand Rapids, where you can access shops, job opportunities, and additional support services.
