Spoke with Mariah from Lakeview in Grand Rapids. She had a booth at the Health Expo in Hibbing. She was very pleasant and she is very positive about Lakeview and all they have to offer people with mental health issues.
I really liked North home really fun but it does not help with getting better at all,all they teach is the same stuff everyday,the staff lied alot on the reports as well

I've had a great experience with all the staff that I have had the privilege to meet and speak with. There is Always a friendly face at the front desk. Actually all the staff ones ive come contact with and got to know even a ittle bit; i want to thank them all especiallyThersa Hatchy,Aftin,mark, matt, john, joey boss lady who did my DA, the secretaries people/ladies in the front offices ,even detox whom I've dealt with late hours on phone..I can't say enough how greatful I am! I could have graduated weeks ago but I asked for extension.they help me in so many ways improve my life! They really care! Your not just a number I share! Don't try to fake your way you'll get caught smart people there good people! I will never forget how much theve helped me!!

The people here actually care about you and how your recovery is going. Always very attentive. I just think that they need to improve the way to make appointments.
Place took amazing care of my brother while he was down there. Communicate daily with me when things changed and also explained to me when things weren't going well.
I went through there when Iris was running it there !! Don’t know if she’s sill around ?! Prob not cuz this was almost 20 years ago . But this place was the best halfway house ever ! Away from the twin cities and so serine !! People up there to were always amazing !!

Have had a few bad experiences here many many years ago but in recent times they have become my hero’s! Awesome staff! Easy to work with and it seems to me like they actually care which is very rare to find at least in my opinion.
I’ve been working with Lakeview for about a month now. The staff here is amazing and truly care about my recovery. I’m grateful for everyone here!
