I have been in the DARKEST place for so long. Symetria was my saving grace. My counselor Callie (my saving grace) showed me that I actually really do matter and gave me a sense of belonging for the FIRST time in my life! She truly cares and has helped me in so many ways that I can't thank her enough. If it weren't for her, I'm not sure where I'd be in life right now without her. Ms Callie, if you see this, thank you again. To all of the concerned mothers/fathers out there, I promise you, this is the best methadone clinic in the United States. La Hacienda truly changed my life. I’ve been to treatment centers all over the state of Texas, and La Hacienda was the last treatment center I ever had to go to. The 28 days I spent there helped save my life and gave me the foundation I needed for long term recovery. The staff genuinely care and are always available to help, encourage, and support clients through every stage of the process. The program is strongly rooted in a 12 step approach, which was exactly what I needed, while also offering specialized programming to meet different individual needs. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and very clean, creating an environment where healing feels possible. The medical staff were also incredible and made me feel safe and cared for throughout my stay. I will always be grateful for the experience I had at La Hacienda and for the role they played in helping me rebuild my life.

Our family’s experience with LaHa left a lasting impression on me. My son first went there at a time when he wasn’t ready to embrace recovery and after that, he spent time at many other treatment centers. When he finally reached the point where he was ready to get better La Hacienda was the place he wanted to go. That spoke volumes to me. Out of everywhere he had been, La Hacienda was the place where he felt the most comfortable and cared for. It was a place that made him believe that recovery was possible. As a mother, I understood very little about addiction so I attended 4 different family programs at his various treatment centers and the one at LaHa was by far the best. When my son returned to LaHa he specifically asked his dad to attend the family session. It was here that he finally understood addiction as a disease and was given the perspective he needed to not only support our son’s recovery but his own through attending our local Alanon. We highly recommend La Hacienda.

I use to go to denton clinic last year and even years ago and I was honestly struggling very hard to keep up with payments and Im not here to bash... I blame myself for not communicating better. At the time I was forced to leave my denton home and stay with family in the colony and had to drive every day Mon thru Fri to denton. I finally tried looking for some place closer and thank the Lord He led me here. I called and they asked about insurance which I gave all my info about. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. Everyone is SO NICE also. Love it here.

I absolutely love this place from the front staff all the way to the back staff. Everybody is so amazing and so kind. The office manager helped me find a location where I could get my dose since I missed it on Saturday and I was so grateful for him to reach out because I finally got my dose I needed Because THEY CARE! I recommend this place to anybody struggling with opioid Use disorder or pain. Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and call. Everybody is so nice and you’ll be taken care of🖤

I found it hard to walk around the campus due to my physical ailments. The facility assisted me with rides from one building to the other. The program helped with my sobriety. I feel that attending classes 8 hours a day 7 days a week was a bit overwhelming.

I was a client here and stayed for 3 months. I honestly only had the intention to stay 1. Each month I agreed to extend because this place was worth it. One of my character flaws is perfectionism and I could complain about some small issues, but honestly that's irrelevant to the support and care I received. After detox, I was assigned the absolute best therapist I have ever had and several amazing recovery coaches that helped me work through my personal issues, legal problems, and my FMLA so I had a job to return to. I learned more about mental health, addictions, and coping skills then I ever expected. I met lot of amazing friends that I still keep in regular contact with since my departure and most of the staff are incredibly loving and caring. Food and facility cleanliness was also great. Overall, I had my ups and downs, but was shown to overcome them and have been thriving more than I had in a long time before arriving to windmill. God always keeps my life "interesting", but I'm glad this place came into my life.

Wether you take the help, or not, it is not their problem. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. When I say staff, I mean EVERYONE. From the techs, to the medical staff, to the housekeeping(they do your laundry), to the groundskeepers, counselors, everybody. This is world-class, luxury, top-tier care. If you want to do it right and you believe that you get what you pay for, this is the place for you. I'm a current resident who has been here for just over a week and am already planning to extend my stay another 30 days.

Recovery unplugged changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The care for their clients went far beyond my expectations of rehabilitation centers. My counselor LuLu helped me find the understanding of myself needed to move forward from active addiction, my case manager Chloe provided me the resources needed to take the next steps, and my Alumni Coordinator Natalie has an incomparable heart for those in recovery as they take those next steps. The program also entrenches you in the Austin recovery community, intentionally becoming the connective tissue with society needed for rehabilitation from addiction. As someone who never wanted to step into rehab, I would recommend the program to anyone.

I went into rehab scared, and unknowing of what to expect. Once I got there, Robert (head tech) and Angie (one of the many amazing nurses) made me feel very safe & welcomed me, explained the rules in detail and were willing to help me with whatever I needed. I did the intake process & got settled into detox. The next few days I went to classes and they opened my eyes to staying longer than my original plan which was just for detox. I stayed the whole 45 day program and it was the best decision for me. Some days were harder than others but the technicians - like Courtney, Karissa, Raven, Tito, Chris, JJ, and Sonny. - really made such a huge difference in my stay. Not only do some of them teach the courses but they are with us day to day & get to help us in some of the darkest toughest moments. Others that really helped were counselors - like Andrew, Jennifer, Chelsea, and Katie - with the curriculum, and sessions placed to help us not have to worry about outside troubles, and just to feel comfortable in our recovery. It made all the difference. And for the aftercare, there is Ripple Ranch Continuum Outreach Program, and our fantastic alumni coordinator Skyler Wellman. If anyone needs literally anything ever, he’s the man to go too, his heart and passion for the recovery in every stage is beautiful and awe inspiring. ✨ Not to mention the wonderful chefs in the kitchen who make us 3 wonderful tasty meals a day. And Ms.Nettie - can’t forget that most amazing woman✨💛 kept me strong even when I didn’t think I had anymore left in me. 🌸✨ Ripple became my home for 45 days when I needed it the very most. The connections I’ve made there will last a lifetime & I am so so grateful for it. ✨💛

Ripple Ranch was exactly what I needed and I am grateful for the staff, medical team, and counselors. I joined at one of the lowest points in my life and the work was not easy but the support from the team pushed me through the program and greatly improved my recovery and sobriety. The team cares about their alumni and treats you with dignity, care, and love. Very grateful they had me as a patient and I would recommend going if you are serious about getting sober.

Ok hear me out …..I didn’t have any issues . If you are worried about wait time just show up at 7 you are still going to have to wait a few hours but not like a crazy wait time . If you come after 7 expect to be there a while ….i walked in did paperwork got evaluated(I already have a diagnosis) and dr appointment scheduled next day for meds in less then 3 hours very fast easy process (IF) you come at 7 . I’m sure it’s easy after 7 as a well just maybe not so fast …. Hope it helped.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Nova is far from perfect, and some of the information can be misleading. But if you want to dive deep into the 12 Steps while enjoying good food and a beautiful scenic view, this is the place for you. The staff is great — the RAs and techs are friendly and genuinely care. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Jeff changed my life and helped save my marriage, so the place gets five stars from me for that reason alone. Thank you to Jeff, Korn, Cassandra, Jen, Leon Phelps, Aaron, and the rest of the staff!

I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending. The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you: The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order. If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it. There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps. There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. If you need rehab, you do that after, or find a rehab that does detox on site.

Touchstone saved my life! Before I went there I was in a deep state of depression and could not see a way out of it. Amber, Ms Julie, nurse Ms Kristy, and Ms Nadine etc where a big help and important part of my recovery they toke awesome care of me and made me feel right at home while during my stay of 69 days. As a recovery professional, I’m very intentional about where I refer my clients. I recently referred a client with substance use disorder , significant trauma and co-occurring mental health concerns to Santé Center for Healing, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the care she received. What stood out most was that her treatment never felt like a cookie-cutter program. Heartwood Recovery truly saved my life. From the moment I got there, I felt like I was surrounded by people who actually cared about me and wanted to see me succeed. Being a young adult in recovery can be difficult, but Heartwood does an amazing job helping younger guys feel comfortable, connected, and understood. One of the biggest things I took away from Heartwood was the brotherhood. I built real relationships with people who were going through the same things as me, and that made a huge difference in my recovery. The combination of the 12 steps, clinical support, recovery coaches, and staff gave me the structure and tools I needed to start building a better life. The outings were great, the food was honestly amazing, and the entire staff made Heartwood feel more like a community than a treatment center. I’ll always be grateful for my time there and the people I met. Heartwood didn’t just help me get sober, it helped me learn how to live again.
