I was just recently successfully discharged from KPEP Muskegon and I must say that I was treated with great respect by the majority of the staff there. I was never disrespected by the majority of the staff. However, KPEP Muskegon now has a new program director, Keith Head, and I have to be honest, once he took that position, he totally flipped. He now ignores residents when they "try" to speak with him. He admits to shredding case notes sent to him without even reading them. When before when he was a therapist he made time to talk to residents. Therapist Charles Nash is a very rude person....thats all I can say about him. Now, my therapist LISA LAMPHIERE was absolutely fabulous and so easy to talk to and open up to. The security staff: Steve K, Dustin, Ron Baker, Austin, Don, Mr. B, Tiffany, Lexi, Jared.....Thank You to you all for making me feel like a person and not just a statistic.

An excellent place to go if you have an out of control addiction and need help. Or if you just fell off and need a hand getting back up.
Friendly staff, smoke breaks, ample time to socialize and work out our problems amongst ourselves... the place is amazing. And welcoming to people that return.
We can't all always get it right on the first go around. Sometimes it takes two, three, four... hell, even thirty tries. But admitting that there's a problem and working to fix it is the first step. And this place is an excellent resource if you need that kind of help.
I'm also an atheist. If you're worried about going to a church-affiliated group, don't be. They take a light touch with religion (mostly stuff in the daily readings), and try to be open to everyone. Same goes for LGBTQ+ folk: this is a safe place.

Just need to give a review of the care of an 90 yo elderly friend. He was placed in ICU for a pulmonary infection and other critical issues. Dr Beeman was the internist who managed his care. She was an incredible Dr. Very compassionate, friendly very concerned for him and us. She sat neck to him in the bed and just talked to him. Most Drs are always in such a hurry and she spent that extra few minutes that meant something! It has been about 4 weeks since he’s been discharged and he is still talking about her. Even got choked up today. The nurses, aides, food service, cleaners- everyone we encountered was amazing. Great floor staff!

The nurses at this hospital were absolutely incredible. I spent 8 days here and they had so much compassion and grace caring for me. I was going through some of the scariest and most embarrassing moments of my life and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Doctor Lee was amazing as well. Taylor D. was my therapist for almost 6 months before I moved from newaygo county and had to end our sessions. If they would have let me continue to be a patient after my move I would gladly make the hour trip to continue our sessions. She is such a REAL and relatable person. Let me say one thing if you have to wait for you dose people it's not the end of your life you will receive it. It pathetic how people still carry such addictive behaviors.

I was a resident here back in 2005. The counselors truly cared about me and my recovery from addiction and alcoholism. Because of the Exodus House my life has been turned completely around and hope and been restored!

This is, by leaps and bounds, the best clinic that I have ever been to in my life.
