I would be willing to put my life savings down that anybody who speaks poorly of this program never finished. Anybody who’s graduated would have nothing to, but good things to say.
I watched so many guys leave within the first few months. Most of these guys have never stepped foot in a church or open the Bible so when they find out there’s actual rules they typically kick and scream and call their mommy and daddy and do and say whatever they can to leave. I’ve heard guys accuse people of sexual harassment Just to get out of completing the program. Just remember, a drug addict will find any excuse..
It was actually pretty crazy. How many guys would leave within the first few months and then their parents would call in and inform the office that their kid overdosed. Usually it was to try and encourage the other guys to stay. I’m not just saying that. Within the one year I was there. It probably happened 15 or 20 times Wirk has left early and then died.
So any bad reviews you see on here I would disregard. The success rate for people who graduate is 98%. I am one of those people. 15 years sober. IV heroin and cocaine use. I was homeless. Now. I have three children I own my own house. Ive made it through a hard divorce without relapsing. This program gives you all the tools you need. And it gets better every time I go back to visit. Constantly doing remodels and upgrades. This is a blessed program.

I was just recently successfully discharged from KPEP Muskegon and I must say that I was treated with great respect by the majority of the staff there. I was never disrespected by the majority of the staff. However, KPEP Muskegon now has a new program director, Keith Head, and I have to be honest, once he took that position, he totally flipped. He now ignores residents when they "try" to speak with him. He admits to shredding case notes sent to him without even reading them. When before when he was a therapist he made time to talk to residents. Therapist Charles Nash is a very rude person....thats all I can say about him. Now, my therapist LISA LAMPHIERE was absolutely fabulous and so easy to talk to and open up to. The security staff: Steve K, Dustin, Ron Baker, Austin, Don, Mr. B, Tiffany, Lexi, Jared.....Thank You to you all for making me feel like a person and not just a statistic.

I’ve been going to Pine Rest now for over ten years. I used to get medication from my doctor until I switched doctors and my new doctor told me “I’m not a psychiatrist and I’d like you to see someone who knows all about mental health.” So she referred me to Pine Rest. I love that I can see both my psychiatrist and my therapist all in one location so they can communicate with each other to do what’s best for me! I’ve never had a single issue there except with one person and I handled that by switching to someone else. The receptionists are all super friendly and helpful. The medical assistants and nurses are very kind. I recommend this place every time I know someone needs to be seen. And it’s always clean and an inviting atmosphere. Thank you all!

I've been using the partial antagonist medicine for a few years and had great success until my doctors started making it difficult for ne to constantly stay in them and stabilize.
That and when you administer the pairtial antagonist you have yo go into the office to see them. This is always a smaller satellite location that you visit with people everywhere and most of them if not all of them aren't anywhere near as sick or hurting like an addict in withdraw.
The point to that was you have to see your doctor in person and in full blown withdrawals state when you see the docs. Then they have to determine if your ready for that medicine and make sure that you're such enough to start the meds because of you administer it too soon ot will make the person even more sick!!
It's very very difficult to start that med and can be dangerous and discouraging to many people. I was one of them for a while.
The staff was amazing and made everything feel very clean, calm, and controlled environment. The structure and attention they give every person makes it a place that not only feels safe but, it's safe.
The ladies at the desk are amazing and can confidently say the same for all the staff!

I’ve been through 3 therapists at this clinic, they were very nice people. The service is great, the ladies at the desks are always kind and helpful.
Only things I would say is that sometimes the therapists go against your opinions and judgement and make you feel out of place or out of control. BUT all of my experiences here have been pleasant. Loved my past two therapists, Mattie DeBoe (no longer a therapist, moved to higher position) and Kelly anthi.
Compared to pine rests outpatient/inpatient care facility, this place is paradise. Their inpatient and outpatient facility has many many issues with the inpatient and resident facilities, the outpatient facilities are very helpful and welcoming, quite opposite of the inpatient.

Muskegon is the 349th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $49322. This is lower than the average cost of $56508 for addiction treatment in Michigan and lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Muskegon vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Muskegon. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Muskegon that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Muskegon.
UnitedHealth Group is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Muskegon, with 5 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Aetna is the 2nd most popular with 4 treatment centers accepting it followed by Blue Cross Blue Shield in 3rd accepted by 4 drug rehabs.
Muskegon has the 87th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Muskegon county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Muskegon or Muskegon county as a whole.
In 2023, Muskegon had the 266th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 150 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Muskegon. All values are per 100,000 population.
