I have been going to this place for almost six months. They have helped me more than any past place I’ve been to. They’ve gone the extra mile to help me mentally and emotionally. They not only help with your mental health but they provide other types of care they even have their own nurses which I see Lisa and she helped find me a diet plan when my other doctors never have. They will go the extra mile including my therapist Jordan and my psychiatrist Sarah they both have been nothing short than fantastic. I highly recommend this place and if you keep up with your appointments and show you want help they will make sure you receive it.

They serve adults, children, couples, and families with a full range of outpatient services. Their staff can provide flexible scheduling, including evening and Saturday appointments. Outpatient care is typically what people picture to | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I had a great experience here with my adult adhd assessment. It changed my life.
While I was initially actually diagnosed with adhd when I was 11, since my parents chose not to medicate me or what not and hoped I’d “grow out” of it, my adhd went untreated and apparently undocumented. Started seeing a psychiatrist and since we couldn’t track down the documentation, I needed to be retested at 30 years old before we could try certain meds.
Sure enough, the adhd combined results spoke for themself. I actually also have anxiety, ocd (pure O), and depression, too. My psychiatrist and I started the med trial and error period, and after 4 months consistently on my two meds (Vyvanse for adhd, Prozac for the others,) I can honestly say my quality of life has increased dramatically. I’m doing better at work and in my personal life.
North Kent changed my life!! Also, I went in thinking “what if I don’t actually have adhd,” and I realized well, if I don’t, the test will at least answer that and give me other answers for what’s actually going on. No matter what, you’ll get answers and will have guidance for the next steps. Highly recommend this place.

I completed 8 days at their outpatient program back in March. The psychiatrist, Doctor McFarren, was absolutely amazing and I wish I could bring her into the outside world with me. She listened to how I was feeling and didn’t resort to putting me on some hard core addictive pill right away.
The program was nice as well, they had different classes you could choose from so if something didn’t apply to you, you didn’t have to attend. They also had activity classes which were really nice. Group therapy was great and it was nice to be with other people who understood what you were going through. Micah (my group leader), was absolutely amazing. I’m so thankful for them and how comfortable they made group.
The only complaint I have which I put on my outtake form was that the group leader Rachel, really should not be leading classes. She might do better with 1-1 or something like that but every class I had that she led, she was not interactive and acted like it was an inconvenience to be there. I even tried to walk out of one of the classes once I realized she was the instructor. One day when Micah was out, Rachel filled our class and we had multiple new people in group and multiple of them said that they were not coming back the next day. A couple girls and I talked to them and explained Rachel was not our normal counselor and Micah was great so they should come back the next day. Thankfully they did, but when I mentioned how much I was struggling with Rachel, over half of my group agreed and said they didn’t not want to take any of her classes and that they wished they knew who the instructor was before we signed up. Maybe for the future- adding the instructors names to the list would be helpful so we can choose accordingly :)
Derrick at the front desk was absolutely amazing as well!! And so is Ethan!! So thankful for most of the team there that made a difficult time in my life, seem not so difficult. I made life time friends from this program and I will forever be thankful for that.

A family member was treated here. I went and visited during visitation hours. The staff I met were very kind. He had said the same. He got help not only with present recovery but tools to help him stay sober. They also helped him with his next steps like getting into a sober living. They inspired him to one day become a sponsor himself. He enjoys most of the company he had there. I enjoyed that Monday through Friday he would get his own personal phone for twenty minutes to make calls and texts from. It allowed me to send him photos to keep him involved. When I couldn't make a visitation they tried their best to accommodate and do a brief video visit instead. All around they greatly cared for him presently and his future. They even helped with transportation to the sober living. The only negatives were that sometimes you don't always get a very good roommate and theft happens. Plus the food wasn't always great he said, but you can't please everyone all the time with every meal when you get that many people together. I would suggest having more options during meal times though, possibly a microwave and some ramen or something for those who don't like whatever is served. Overall this place really helped him grow. I can't wait to see what the rest of his future brings for him and our family.
