Taylor D. was my therapist for almost 6 months before I moved from newaygo county and had to end our sessions. If they would have let me continue to be a patient after my move I would gladly make the hour trip to continue our sessions. She is such a REAL and relatable person. I never felt judgment from her or any of the other members of my care team. I'm thankful everyday for some of the advice and help she gave me and will carry those tools with me through life. Huge thank you to Taylor and the rest of the staff that cared for me in some of my hardest moments.

Just need to give a review of the care of an 90 yo elderly friend. He was placed in ICU for a pulmonary infection and other critical issues. Dr Beeman was the internist who managed his care. She was an incredible Dr. Very compassionate, friendly very concerned for him and us. She sat neck to him in the bed and just talked to him. Most Drs are always in such a hurry and she spent that extra few minutes that meant something! It has been about 4 weeks since he’s been discharged and he is still talking about her. Even got choked up today. The nurses, aides, food service, cleaners- everyone we encountered was amazing. Great floor staff!

I was going through some of the scariest and most embarrassing moments of my life and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Doctor Lee was amazing as well. Frankly, they blow. They don't care. They see you as mentally ill and so they think they're right and you're just a crazy person who doesn't deserve to be listened to. They will not listen to your complaints so don't even bother and just find somewhere else to go. The front desk people are crotchety. Patient for almost 6 years....bipolar ADHD panic disorder. Never had to worry until /2017. Before old staff quit. Old staff cared, took time to return phone calls helped when in distress, they always always were there. Now I have had three times of being close to hospitalization for the first time, three times distress, made that clear, no call. Today's the final straw. Dr Williams is fantastic but getting burnt out. He needs help asap. We as patients needs nurses who will care enough to return a phone call to a person who can't even leave a coherent message so left a note early instead. Clearly said read and respond asap please. 8 hours later, bawling my eyes out, scared because I was ignored for the third time since July 2017. This is unacceptable. Dr Williams needs help before he is gone too!!

I love my psychiatrist she was the best, but the receptionist I spoke with today was unbelievably rude. Every question I asked was met with “I don’t know,” and when I explained that I needed to return to having my psychiatrist prescribe my meds instead of my PCP, she kept repeating the same question as if I was drug-seeking. It was insulting, dismissive, and made me cry. I will not be returning. Patients deserve respect, not to be treated like a problem, and if this office allows staff to treat people this way, it shows a complete disregard for the very mental health care this company claims to provide. They also would think it’s acceptable to have someone that heartless, clueless, as their first point of contact, it’s an absolute disgrace. No wonder so many people lose faith in getting help. Stop hiring evil, incompetent staff this is exactly why people lose their lives trying to get help, because the people you put at the front desk are an embarrassment and a burden to live with.

My experience met my expectations and being 5. I've been using the partial antagonist medicine for a few years and had great success until my doctors started making it difficult for ne to constantly stay in them and stabilize. That and when you administer the pairtial antagonist you have yo go into the office to see them. This is always a smaller satellite location that you visit with people everywhere and most of them if not all of them aren't anywhere near as sick or hurting like an addict in withdraw. The point to that was you have to see your doctor in person and in full blown withdrawals state when you see the docs. Then they have to determine if your ready for that medicine and make sure that you're such enough to start the meds because of you administer it too soon ot will make the person even more sick!! It's very very difficult to start that med and can be dangerous and discouraging to many people. I was one of them for a while. The staff was amazing and made everything feel very clean, calm, and controlled environment. The structure and attention they give every person makes it a place that not only feels safe but, it's safe. The ladies at the desk are amazing and can confidently say the same for all the staff! I've never been in a place of recovery like this before. You can feel the tenderness and compassion in the atmosphere that naturally provides judgement free area you can feel

An excellent place to go if you have an out of control addiction and need help. Or if you just fell off and need a hand getting back up. Friendly staff, smoke breaks, ample time to socialize and work out our problems amongst ourselves... the place is amazing. And welcoming to people that return. We can't all always get it right on the first go around. Sometimes it takes two, three, four... hell, even thirty tries. But admitting that there's a problem and working to fix it is the first step. And this place is an excellent resource if you need that kind of help. I'm also an atheist. If you're worried about going to a church-affiliated group, don't be. They take a light touch with religion (mostly stuff in the daily readings), and try to be open to everyone. Same goes for LGBTQ+ folk: this is a safe place. If you need help, these folks are who you need to get started

This rehab doesn’t sugarcoat recovery, it’s intense, honest, and exactly what I needed to rebuild my life. They taught me accountability, discipline, and self-worth. If you’re ready to change, this is where it happens. Tough love, real support and lasting results. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the best. The program challenged me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.... Those challenges were vital and needed to break old patterns and live life a new way. Clean and sober since Feb 25, 2025.

I completed 8 days at their outpatient program back in March. The psychiatrist, Doctor McFarren, was absolutely amazing and I wish I could bring her into the outside world with me. She listened to how I was feeling and didn’t resort to putting me on some hard core addictive pill right away. The program was nice as well, they had different classes you could choose from so if something didn’t apply to you, you didn’t have to attend. They also had activity classes which were really nice. Group therapy was great and it was nice to be with other people who understood what you were going through. Micah (my group leader), was absolutely amazing. I’m so thankful for them and how comfortable they made group. The only complaint I have which I put on my outtake form was that the group leader Rachel, really should not be leading classes. She might do better with 1-1 or something like that but every class I had that she led, she was not interactive and acted like it was an inconvenience to be there. I even tried to walk out of one of the classes once I realized she was the instructor. One day when Micah was out, Rachel filled our class and we had multiple new people in group and multiple of them said that they were not coming back the next day. A couple girls and I talked to them and explained Rachel was not our normal counselor and Micah was great so they should come back the next day. Thankfully they did, but when I mentioned how much I was struggling with Rachel, over half of my group agreed and said they didn’t not want to take any of her classes and that they wished they knew who the instructor was before we signed up. Maybe for the future- adding the instructors names to the list would be helpful so we can choose accordingly :) Derrick at the front desk was absolutely amazing as well!! And so is Ethan!! So thankful for most of the team there that made a difficult time in my life, seem not so difficult. I made life time friends from this program and I will forever be thankful for that.

A family member was treated here. I went and visited during visitation hours. The staff I met were very kind. He had said the same. He got help not only with present recovery but tools to help him stay sober. They also helped him with his next steps like getting into a sober living. They inspired him to one day become a sponsor himself. He enjoys most of the company he had there. I enjoyed that Monday through Friday he would get his own personal phone for twenty minutes to make calls and texts from. It allowed me to send him photos to keep him involved. When I couldn't make a visitation they tried their best to accommodate and do a brief video visit instead. All around they greatly cared for him presently and his future. They even helped with transportation to the sober living. The only negatives were that sometimes you don't always get a very good roommate and theft happens. Plus the food wasn't always great he said, but you can't please everyone all the time with every meal when you get that many people together. I would suggest having more options during meal times though, possibly a microwave and some ramen or something for those who don't like whatever is served. Overall this place really helped him grow. I can't wait to see what the rest of his future brings for him and our family.
