Taylor D. was my therapist for almost 6 months before I moved from newaygo county and had to end our sessions. If they would have let me continue to be a patient after my move I would gladly make the hour trip to continue our sessions. She is such a REAL and relatable person. I never felt judgment from her or any of the other members of my care team. I'm thankful everyday for some of the advice and help she gave me and will carry those tools with me through life. Huge thank you to Taylor and the rest of the staff that cared for me in some of my hardest moments.

I have been seeing Dr Lisa Hanna going on 6 years now. She helped me get off of some medications that were doing harm to me. She always took things slow, and tapered me off. She always explained why. I used to drive out here from Fruitport until Covid happened.
From there on I have been seeing her via webcam/phone. She always tried to do me good. She got me into therapy services, but I did have to go somewhere else closer to home. My preferences for face to face therapy outweighed the cons of webcam/phone therapy.
Every single time I have had an episode she was always there to help. She never had any anger towards me. She listens to me when I talk about side effects of medications.
She has never forced me to take a specific medication, nor has she ever said "just deal with it." I seen some reviewers here saying the billing is shaky, and that the therapists are not up to par. Literally all the therapists they have are licensed. I never had any issues, and they even let you set up a payment plan.
Pine Rest has changed my life significantly. Everyone there is nice, and courteous. I feel alot of empathy here. They really do enjoy doing what they do.
Mental Health is tricky. You have to come in with an open mind. You have to be willing to put in the work. Everything that they ask you to do is only because they want you to get better. I have never been asked to do anything that made me worse, and when I did get put on a medication that didn't work out. They were always there to listen and adjust accordingly. When I tell them that something works they stick with it.
I have been able to excel in most aspects of life that I used to struggle with since coming here. I definitely feel more connected with my colleagues, and family members.

My counselor is Paul Hillebrand and he's an excellent counselor. He helps me with my anxiety, worry, stress, autism spectrum, etc. So back in March 2024, which is this year, I met him in person for the first time and that was awesome. The whole Office looks really nice, well taken care of, especially Paul's little Office. I have been extremely happy with Pine Rest NW. I have seen the same therapist for 8.5 years and she is amazing. My 8 year old recently started seeing a different therapist who has been excellent as well. It can be hard to find the right therapist on the first try but both of us were able to! The office staff is also extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Thank you!

I came into this clinic during a relapse. I had 3 years sober in and fell off. Well , today 11-4-25 I have roughly 9 years of sobriety in. This clinic and (Jim) my old counselor helped change my thinking and save my life. When I started going to the clinic I would get high on pretty much whatever I could get my hands on. I was terrible. I didn't care who I hurt as long as I could get high. But then I found out about the methadone clinic and I called them reluctantly I wasn't even sure I wanted help but I knew I needed belp. So I went to my intake and I started going to the clinic and ever since then I have been drug free.My life is completely different now. It is weird how much you can miss by being in a fog of drugs. All I know is that if I hadn't started going to the clinic I would most likely have ended up dead, either killed or o. d. If you are looking for help and want to use the program I suggest that you go the the methadone clinic in Mt. Pleasant mi they will give you the help that you. Need to get your life right and they will treat you as a person and won't. Look down on you I am very grateful for all that they have done for me

Thank god for emergency walk-in and don’t let the low rating fool you..this place deserves a much higher rating…I was suffering from the night before when my molar went hot and had to wait till they open at 8am and was already in the back by 8:30 and home by 10…Lluvia was the dental assistant and she was absolutely amazing…I was definitely nervous and she was a calming presence and I’m sorry I don’t remember the future humming dentists name but he was also fantastic..never felt the shots or when he removed my teeth..I do remember he said he only had 2 months to go and maybe move to St. Louis after working with his dad for a bit who was also a dentist …thank you both so much for everything you did for me!!

You HAVE to stay in CONTACT with them to get the BEST CARE! As long as you're double checking ALL your info and on the ball, you CAN get good Care here. (If you're allowing them to do the "extra" work, they DO NOT HAVE TIME. They are taxed with helping so very many people, they/you can get confused. They also have A LOT of "Partnerships" with other facilities. That's where CONFUSION CAN HAPPEN! Be AWARE, Call, Confirm and Double Check...You should be in good care! Just KNOW that if YOU Pay Attention Your HealthCare goes a lot smoother! The Cherry Health Partnerships have allowed me to begin to get better. I didn't know I was positive for hep c. They have a "program" for darn near Everything! Call, ASAP!

The team at Clare Detox Helpline was incredibly kind and professional. I can't say enough good things about Kym Hansen-Duell. I have been seeing her on and off since my teenage years and can honestly say that she has helped me in so many ways I can't even begin to describe them all. She has been so accommodating with scheduling, quick to reschedule when she takes (much deserved!) time off, and understanding when I need to reschedule. With DBT and Kym, I am no longer "just surviving," I am thriving. She helped me find the me I was always meant to be and for that, I am eternally greatful. I have always been impressed with Pine Rest TC but Kym is the crown jewel of the professionals they have.

I've been going for a few years and both counselors I have seen are great. They really care and are willing to go above and beyond. Both have been available after hours if I needed it. Faith is very caring, knowlegable, and prompt with refill requests. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. Individual experiences will obviously vary, but I have not experienced anything that is remotely like what you see in the negative reviews.
