I've been going on and off mostly on for 12 years... I've had Cassie for 2 now and shes wonderful. All of anyone I've ever had here has been great. These ppl care. You do the work they guide you thru. Jails institutions and deaths are the only outcome. I'd rather just keep going back to chs then jail.

I have only rode the city bus to Hope Network, but I give them 4 stars because I ride the bus 3 days per week and the bus picks up mentally challenged adults at hope network, in which have jobs because thats what hope network does it gives them an opportunity to work in local factories.

Dr. Plumb has changed my life. There may not be many psychiatrists in traverse city but I’m fortunate enough to have DR. Rachel plumb as my doctor for 5 years now. I’m comfortable enough to tell her things i wouldn’t normally tell a psychiatrist. The front staff is incredibly helpful and supportive. I’m grateful for ATS.

Phoenix House wonderful. I did m 30 days and got a lot out of it. Staff could’ve done better at controlling we think got heated and about chores. But the place was great ! It’s a beautiful Victorian house with lots of room. You get medical attention. And there a chiropractor right down the road too. The staff is very nice actually. A safe and clean place.

They are a professional place, the counseling I've been receiving is really working and I'm doing better. The people that work there are willing to help me whenever I'm confused or just feeling down. They are respectful, and I appreciate that.

I loved the counselors and therapists all the medical staff everyone was caring and genuine about helping and about their own experiences. They turned a nightmare into a good experience. I have lasting memories from there group time and individual and there was always someone to talk to when I felt like breaking down. I can't say enough good things about Kym Hansen-Duell. I have been seeing her on and off since my teenage years and can honestly say that she has helped me in so many ways I can't even begin to describe them all. She has been so accommodating with scheduling, quick to reschedule when she takes (much deserved!) time off, and understanding when I need to reschedule. With DBT and Kym, I am no longer "just surviving," I am thriving. She helped me find the me I was always meant to be and for that, I am eternally greatful. I have always been impressed with Pine Rest TC but Kym is the crown jewel of the professionals they have.

I've been going for a few years and both counselors I have seen are great. They really care and are willing to go above and beyond. Both have been available after hours if I needed it. Faith is very caring, knowlegable, and prompt with refill requests. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. Individual experiences will obviously vary, but I have not experienced anything that is remotely like what you see in the negative reviews.

This program has done so many good things for our family and my son who attended this year. Our son had been struggling for almost a year after a very bad car accident and he unfortunately began to abuse his pain pills. They really strive on the fact that you go at your own pace through the program to ensure that you are getting the most out of it. They do not want you to move alongside others their just because they may be going at a different pace than you. There are many different groups to choose to partake in and you get to customize things in terms of what is of interest to you. It is a very beautiful and tranquil center to receive treatment at. He was able to focus on himself in all areas, body, mind and spirit. The staff ensures a clean and inviting center to be at, they all work together to make sure that you are well taken care of and they offer great meals by an amazing cook as well. We are thoroughly grateful.

I'm very happy with the results I got from going through the program at BRS. I was prescribed pain medication by my doctor after I'd gotten in an accident and I was having trouble getting off them. My husband found BRS for me and it was a really good place for me to go. They put an emphasis on their client's comfort there, which was something I needed. I'd never needed help like this before and it was weird for me at first to be in treatment for a drug addiction. The staff there were wonderful with me and they handled all my tantrums while I was going through detox very well. There were a lot of tantrums too. Every day I wanted to leave and every day they convinced me to stick it out. Which I'm very grateful for. After detox, I was surprised by how much I liked being there. The facility itself is really nice and I was comfortable there. I'm so glad my husband chose BRS as the rehab I'd go to because I don't think anyone else would have handled me and all my dramas nearly as well.

My brother went to BRS last year and I'm amazed at the results. My brother spent 10 years addicted to crack cocaine and truthfully, I never thought he'd get sober. He went to a lot of treatment centers before BRS and none of them helped him. There are some major differences between those other centers and BRS though. They don't take a one size fits all approach to treatment there. They have multiple programs and my brother was able to do a treatment program that he hadn't done before. One that actually worked for him. He was also there for 4 months. He's always been to 28 or 30 day programs and it was never enough time for him. Plus, the BRS center is great. It's a beautiful place and they have a bunch of amenities that helped my brother feel comfortable there throughout his whole program. Lastly, the staff were wonderful with him. They made sure that my brother did his program and did it right. Going to BRS worked for my brother. He's sober now.

I love, love these people. I was treated for depression in Grand Rapids for two years before moving north. A few months with Dr. Plum (no longer with Munson) I was already better off. After she left I started seeing Dr. Hartwig. The man is gentle and I can tell he loves what he does. He involves me with my medications rather than dictates what I will take. I started seeing Leslie for therapy the same time I started seeing Dr. Hartwig. Leslie is an amazing woman and has helped me more than the three therapists from GR put together. As an additional plus, all the ladies and the desk are super sweet and helpful. Joelle is another wonderful person. I don't have enough room to write all the positives of this center.

I was admitted to MMC for sepsis Dec 2024 and my daughter was admitted to the NICU August 2025 Both times we entered through the ER. The ER staff were kind, friendly and professional. Katie was very helpful and ready to defend my privacy. Melissa is an angel and contributed to keeping me from developing ppd. The team in the OR and post op(Cynthia) with Dr. Zuckerman were super friendly and compassionate. The various nurses and CNAs in the B3 Surgical Unit (Julie, Erin, Kelly, Jordan, Kay, Jeanette) were all very kind and compassionate as well. Kelly was a delight to talk to and Erin deserves a raise. The NICU nurses and doctor (Amber, Amanda, Cheryl, Dr Alred, Melody, Alicia, Becky, Maggie, Maddie and I never caught her name but the friendly nurse with curly hair and glasses) are wonderful caring angels and incredibly supportive. Amber and Amanda were assigned to my daughter twice and I’m very grateful to have had them during a scary and uncertain time. They were the other half of a wonderful experience at MMC labor day weekend and with their support and kindness I thankfully did not develop ppd. I would recommend going to MMC to anyone who wishes to be treated with a high level of care and compassion. Please be patient with these amazing people. They are burnt out, tired, doing their best and are committed to helping you. It is not their fault they are understaffed and equipment is not properly stocked. Treat them with kindness and respect.

All of the staff and especially my team are wonderful caring people, they do understand how things can drag you down and make you feel like there is no way up. There is hope. Dont give up. I was recommended to attend sessions for (marriage), by court. I was pretty hesitant at first. After a I really made a commitment, an put serious effort in. They dont just sit there an judge an not respond and are never negative, they sit there and help u thru ur issues and provide amazing advice an explain things so clear to where u understand which allows u to help figure out the underlying problem of why u do what u do. I would always reccommend them to any an all people.
