Just need to give a review of the care of an 90 yo elderly friend. He was placed in ICU for a pulmonary infection and other critical issues. Dr Beeman was the internist who managed his care. She was an incredible Dr. Very compassionate, friendly very concerned for him and us. She sat neck to him in the bed and just talked to him. Most Drs are always in such a hurry and she spent that extra few minutes that meant something! It has been about 4 weeks since he’s been discharged and he is still talking about her. Even got choked up today. The nurses, aides, food service, cleaners- everyone we encountered was amazing. Great floor staff!

The nurses at this hospital were absolutely incredible. I spent 8 days here and they had so much compassion and grace caring for me. I was going through some of the scariest and most embarrassing moments of my life and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Doctor Lee was amazing as well. I truly wish I could write individual thank you cards.

Dr. Plumb has changed my life. There may not be many psychiatrists in traverse city but I’m fortunate enough to have DR. Rachel plumb as my doctor for 5 years now. I’m comfortable enough to tell her things i wouldn’t normally tell a psychiatrist. The front staff is incredibly helpful and supportive. I’m grateful for ATS.
I can't say enough good things about Kym Hansen-Duell. I have been seeing her on and off since my teenage years and can honestly say that she has helped me in so many ways I can't even begin to describe them all. She has been so accommodating with scheduling, quick to reschedule when she takes (much deserved!) time off, and understanding when I need to reschedule. With DBT and Kym, I am no longer "just surviving," I am thriving. She helped me find the me I was always meant to be and for that, I am eternally greatful. I have always been impressed with Pine Rest TC but Kym is the crown jewel of the professionals they have.

I've been going for a few years and both counselors I have seen are great. They really care and are willing to go above and beyond. Both have been available after hours if I needed it. Faith is very caring, knowlegable, and prompt with refill requests. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. Individual experiences will obviously vary, but I have not experienced anything that is remotely like what you see in the negative reviews.

I have started seeing Teresa Cieslinski. She seems very kind, has asked good questions and given me helpful advise. Their patient portal is excellent!
I've been going on and off mostly on for 12 years... I've had Cassie for 2 now and shes wonderful. All of anyone I've ever had here has been great. These ppl care. You do the work they guide you thru. Jails institutions and deaths are the only outcome. I'd rather just keep going back to chs then jail.
I've been with this place for a while now and I have never had any bad experiences with them . If I could I would give this place a lot of stars. Thank you so much

This is a wonderful organization. Catholic Human Services has made my difficult circumstances manageable and has provided me with the resources to get on with my life.
I was admitted to MMC for sepsis Dec 2024 and my daughter was admitted to the NICU August 2025 Both times we entered through the ER. The ER staff were kind, friendly and professional. Katie was very helpful and ready to defend my privacy. Melissa is an angel and contributed to keeping me from developing ppd. The team in the OR and post op(Cynthia) with Dr. Zuckerman were super friendly and compassionate. The various nurses and CNAs in the B3 Surgical Unit (Julie, Erin, Kelly, Jordan, Kay, Jeanette) were all very kind and compassionate as well. Kelly was a delight to talk to and Erin deserves a raise. The NICU nurses and doctor (Amber, Amanda, Cheryl, Dr Alred, Melody, Alicia, Becky, Maggie, Maddie and I never caught her name but the friendly nurse with curly hair and glasses) are wonderful caring angels and incredibly supportive. Amber and Amanda were assigned to my daughter twice and I’m very grateful to have had them during a scary and uncertain time. They were the other half of a wonderful experience at MMC labor day weekend and with their support and kindness I thankfully did not develop ppd. I would recommend going to MMC to anyone who wishes to be treated with a high level of care and compassion. Please be patient with these amazing people. They are burnt out, tired, doing their best and are committed to helping you. It is not their fault they are understaffed and equipment is not properly stocked. Treat them with kindness and respect.

Hope Network is by far a remarkable place to be involved with and work with. Iv never seen a place with so much love and be called a business

I have only rode the city bus to Hope Network, but I give them 4 stars because I ride the bus 3 days per week and the bus picks up mentally challenged adults at hope network, in which have jobs because thats what hope network does it gives them an opportunity to work in local factories.
Just want to say if your having drinking and drugging problems, anxiety, deppression,or any kind of mental issue or you just dont feel yourself. There is help and this is the best place around to go
All of the staff and especially my team are wonderful caring people, they do understand how things can drag you down and make you feel like there is no way up. There is hope. Dont give up. Take that step to becoming the person you can. The best you, CMH will put you on the right course for recovery if its therapy, mediction or just some guidance you need in your life They are there and know what they are doing.
I thank each and every one of the staff and Drs there for the support help and guidance they have given me to set me on the right path again. Couldnt have done it without you guys. Thank- you

My life is 100 percent better all staff are wonderful and the receptionist are sweet and caring and the people I have worked with are number one in my book.
NLCMH and specifically the FAST program and team are phenomenal and incredibly helpful to our communities. CMH employees have been quick to respond, supportive and professional throughout multiple experiences. Lauren Franklin is a name that stands out when thinking of the FAST team and is a positive, influential and intelligent mental health provider and has consistently supported clients, individuals and families throughout multiple communities. We are lucky to have programs such as CMH to support those that need it and we are even more lucky to have professionals like Lauren doing so!

So far I believe my shoulder and neck have improved from what I had as problems. Improving, but not done yet, to feel better than I have. The initial meeting, and 2 sessions have helped so far(not cured yet), but seem to do far helping.

This organization is absolutely amazing! The people here truly care about helping children and families walk through difficult times while also supporting them through these tough transitions. It is not easy to be there 24/7 to support, sometimes very difficult emotional and traumatic experiences but THEY are… They are there without judgment and with nothing but genuine and sincere love and care for those in need. Thank you for all you do everyday to help those who call Northern Michigan their home. You are a very important part of supporting those in need!
While I was seeing Dr. Joseph, I would have rated it a 1, maybe 2 stars at best. He was always super late for appointments which he would attend through video. He was very cold, not relatable or personable in any way, and he never seemed to listen. I changed meds probably 4 or 5 tines over the span of 4 or 5 months. Since switching to Dr. Smoes, things have been great. She listens, asks the right questions, she's on time, and it only took a few visits to find a medication regimen that I have now been on for roughly a year or so. People's experiences (and by extension, their ratings) at places like this often result from a negative interaction(s) with 1 or 2 people. And, unfortunately, it's often the entire office getting a bad rating when it's really just a couple bad doctors, nurses, and/or receptionists. From experience, I can say that this office has at least one not-so-great doctor, and at least one solid doctor. My experience with all the nurses I've seen have been positive, and at least a couple of the receptionists actually know me by name. Overall, I'm happy with my services since switching to Dr. Smoes.
I lied , this place is incredibly amazing. If u are truly ready they are waiting for you with doors wide open , I can vouch for that I've been through those doors 3 years ago later I am a happy man and I couldn't do without them being sober since then thank you so much all of you sorry for my pain in the butt behavior.

My experience met my expectations and being 5. I've been using the partial antagonist medicine for a few years and had great success until my doctors started making it difficult for ne to constantly stay in them and stabilize.
That and when you administer the pairtial antagonist you have yo go into the office to see them. This is always a smaller satellite location that you visit with people everywhere and most of them if not all of them aren't anywhere near as sick or hurting like an addict in withdraw.
The point to that was you have to see your doctor in person and in full blown withdrawals state when you see the docs. Then they have to determine if your ready for that medicine and make sure that you're such enough to start the meds because of you administer it too soon ot will make the person even more sick!!
It's very very difficult to start that med and can be dangerous and discouraging to many people. I was one of them for a while.
The staff was amazing and made everything feel very clean, calm, and controlled environment. The structure and attention they give every person makes it a place that not only feels safe but, it's safe.
The ladies at the desk are amazing and can confidently say the same for all the staff!
I've never been in a place of recovery like this before. You can feel the tenderness and compassion in the atmosphere that naturally provides judgement free area you can feel

Ive been going to the clinic for over 5 years now. They saved my life. They are great people who seem to genuinely care about you. Even if you mess up they help you get back on track. The other area clinics do not compare to WMCTC. It's nice and clean like a Dr's office. They do nice things for holidays and always do what's in the patients best interest!

I've been struggling with addiction for over 30 years and have managed to be free from active addiction for 5 years.
I have gone from taking 24mg per day of Suboxone daily down to the equivalent of 8mg per day! Clean Slate has helped me to manage my recovery so well and I'm going to be graduating from substance use disorder counseling program which is so exciting knowing that I've come this far and now I can help other people with their recovery! Clean Slate has helped to find myself again and I wouldn't be here without all the great people who work there! 👍👌

I’ve been through 3 therapists at this clinic, they were very nice people. The service is great, the ladies at the desks are always kind and helpful.
Only things I would say is that sometimes the therapists go against your opinions and judgement and make you feel out of place or out of control. BUT all of my experiences here have been pleasant. Loved my past two therapists, Mattie DeBoe (no longer a therapist, moved to higher position) and Kelly anthi.
Compared to pine rests outpatient/inpatient care facility, this place is paradise. Their inpatient and outpatient facility has many many issues with the inpatient and resident facilities, the outpatient facilities are very helpful and welcoming, quite opposite of the inpatient.

An excellent place to go if you have an out of control addiction and need help. Or if you just fell off and need a hand getting back up.
Friendly staff, smoke breaks, ample time to socialize and work out our problems amongst ourselves... the place is amazing. And welcoming to people that return.
We can't all always get it right on the first go around. Sometimes it takes two, three, four... hell, even thirty tries. But admitting that there's a problem and working to fix it is the first step. And this place is an excellent resource if you need that kind of help.
I'm also an atheist. If you're worried about going to a church-affiliated group, don't be. They take a light touch with religion (mostly stuff in the daily readings), and try to be open to everyone. Same goes for LGBTQ+ folk: this is a safe place.
