A solid structure in place, more appropriately suited for people who haven't been through treatment before, coming from jails/prisons, etc. A definite plus is the ability to stay for up to 90 days.
Limited to only AA & NA, which not everyone fits into. Disheartening use of outdated & actually "more harm than good" hot seat degradation of individuals. This comes from a never researched theory put forth by Dr Harry Tiebot, psychiatrist in the early 1950's who postulated that initial, forced degradation/humiliation was the only way to "break down" people with addictions. This became the "gold standard" in treatment centers across the US, and spread into many AA/NA cultures. (research William White, noted historian on recovery programs).
Also, being forced to sit through a lecture on why abortion is always wrong, abrupt clinical decisions without input from the client, etc. doesn't leave a good feeling of confidence.
Recently, they have begun EMDR therapy for clients with trauma background .. unfortunately, EMDR suitability needs to evaluated first. EMDR forces the afflicted individual to re-live their trauma, so that alternative responses can be practiced. Not everyone with trauma can do that early on in recovery. It's retraumatizing & quite harmful if they're not evaluated first. Clients are reporting that it is thrust upon them, and if they refuse, it is held against them as being "resistant" to treatment.
Decide what you needs are first, from a treatment center. There definitely are people who can benefit from their treatment modality. But, there are better options in the state, for some people, too.

Do not go here. I use to work at listening ear. If they do not have your contact information update it because they send there after hour calls to a third party and entrust if they are worthy to send of to on-call when people are having life and death situations. a gentleman almost lost his life due to the fact his doctor told him to call that number and his profile phone number was updated even though he is a current patient. The nurses at this hospital were absolutely incredible. I spent 8 days here and they had so much compassion and grace caring for me. I was going through some of the scariest and most embarrassing moments of my life and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Doctor Lee was amazing as well. I truly wish I could write individual thank you cards.

Nurses and Doctor were all great, but I was there for 15 minutes and needed nothing but an inhaler. I received a bill for $1,400 a week later. They will not reduce the charges so now Ill have to take a hit on my credit score when I dont pay. That will be the last time I ever go to a hospital for an emergency.

I have only rode the city bus to Hope Network, but I give them 4 stars because I ride the bus 3 days per week and the bus picks up mentally challenged adults at hope network, in which have jobs because thats what hope network does it gives them an opportunity to work in local factories.
