This clinic and (Jim) my old counselor helped change my thinking and save my life. Stopping dope will never keep someone sober , however if you can also get the addict to change his thinking as well miracles can happen. When I started going to the clinic I would get high on pretty much whatever I could get my hands on. I was terrible. I didn't care who I hurt as long as I could get high. But then I found out about the methadone clinic and I called them reluctantly I wasn't even sure I wanted help but I knew I needed belp. So I went to my intake and I started going to the clinic and ever since then I have been drug free.My life is completely different now. It is weird how much you can miss by being in a fog of drugs. All I know is that if I hadn't started going to the clinic I would most likely have ended up dead, either killed or o. d. If you are looking for help and want to use the program I suggest that you go the the methadone clinic in Mt. Pleasant mi they will give you the help that you. Need to get your life right and they will treat you as a person and won't. Look down on you I am very grateful for all that they have done for me
