Wanting to add a positive perspective ❤️ When you’re told to go to your Medicaid authority and that place has reviews all over the place, you get nervous. However, my experience with N180 has been nothing short of great. You need to be willing to put in the work! But the staff are thoughtful and are always willing to go the extra mile when you need it.

The crisis team saved my nephew! Got him set up with a really amazing therapist too after he graduated. Love to see him light up and tell me about his appointments with her.

I appreciate my therapist and my psychiatrist thru N180. Hard to get to the fourth floor for therapy but the staff are always friendly to me.

I honestly loved coming here for therapy. My therapist (Jodi) was amazing and I'm actively trying to return to therapy here. 10/10 would recommend.

I always gotten good care, the only issue I have is they keep pushing the DBT at me, when I told them I don't do good in groups or the skills are to hard for me, I was told DBT or go somewhere else for therapy, you should be able to provide me with a therapists, so my mental health services don't have to be scattered with a bunch of mental health agencies.

I have to totally disagree with some of the negative reviews on here. They help anyone who wants help. I have seen several people come in, and they are all treated great and with professionalism. I have got every service I asked for or was referred to. Everyone is polite, and they go out of their way to help when you ask. They always answer any questions I have, and they work one on one with my primary care doctor to give me the best help they can. I recommend Montcalm Care Network 100% and assure you that if you give them a try, you will get the help you need. They even help with transportation to appointments if needed. I can not say enough how appreciative I am for the staff there. Thank you.

I went here for 9 years and, they were very good to e! A lot of times I had to come in daily. The others, I got up to 4 take-homes per week! So I came for 2 days and, brought my home! Low and behold, something always happened. It could have been a mental episode, or I would get sick. When that happened (hospitalization), I would have to start all over They treated me with respect, and didn’t charge mea penny! If it wasn’t so darn far away, I would have gone. I have been seeing Jordan Engelhard for about two years, once a week. He's been extremely helpful with my anxiety disorder and my depressive disorder. I would recommend him to those looking to find validation, reassurance, and those looking to make changes for the better.

I’ve been going to Pine Rest now for over ten years. I used to get medication from my doctor until I switched doctors and my new doctor told me “I’m not a psychiatrist and I’d like you to see someone who knows all about mental health.” So she referred me to Pine Rest. I love that I can see both my psychiatrist and my therapist all in one location so they can communicate with each other to do what’s best for me! I’ve never had a single issue there except with one person and I handled that by switching to someone else. The receptionists are all super friendly and helpful. The medical assistants and nurses are very kind. I recommend this place every time I know someone needs to be seen. And it’s always clean and an inviting atmosphere. Thank you all!

Doctors are thorough and everyone is so helpful!

Let me first state, I am an army veteran with no service related disability. I also don’t qualify for across the board free VA healthcare, due to my income level ( even though retired). My Medicare with supplemental insurance is a financial better option than I can receive with VA care with the co-pays. HOWEVER qualifying for free hearing aids and glasses is a HUGE plus. Being very skeptical of the VA, this was my first experience with the VA. I am, thus far, extremely impressed! My appointments (audiology and ophthalmology) were on the minute. The entire staff was extremely kind, polite, caring and professional. The entire facility and my experience could not have been nicer. Follow up appointments have been scheduled. Over the years I have spent literally thousands of dollars for devices that could have been free with my VA benefits.

I had my first appointment at the VA Dental Clinic in Wyoming, MI on July 10th, and I have to say—it was AMAZING! I've seen many dentists over the last few years, trying to find one I could trust—someone who wouldn’t try to upsell or gouge me financially every time I walked through the door. Unfortunately, that’s been my experience far too often with private dental offices. So I was very anxious heading into this VA visit, not knowing what to expect. But from the moment I walked in, I felt heard, seen, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Lauren Johnson and the dental assistant who took my X-rays (sorry, I didn't catch your name!) were absolutely incredible. Not only were they professional and kind, but they actually listened to me and showed concern beyond just my teeth. I’ve struggled with high blood pressure and elevated BPMs for a while now, and while my regular doctor chalked it up to “white coat syndrome,” I knew something more might be going on. The dental team took my blood pressure and immediately recognized that something wasn't right. A passing staff member even overheard and flagged it to Dr. Johnson before I had even met her. Dr. Johnson came in, did a thorough check-up on my teeth, gave clear and helpful explanations of the work I needed, and even gave me a referral for an excellent endodontist—without any pressure to go there. She also personally followed up on my high blood pressure. She rechecked it, noted the continued concern, and let me know she’d be notifying my VA medical provider to get the ball rolling on a deeper evaluation. I can't remember a time—ever—when a medical or dental office showed this kind of genuine care and attention to me as a whole person, not just a patient on a schedule. The compassion, professionalism, and thoroughness from the entire team absolutely blew me away! Yes, I drive over 40 miles to get here—and I’ll gladly do it every time. I’m 100% committed to getting all my dental care done through the Wyoming VA Dental Clinic from now on.
