Wanting to add a positive perspective ❤️ When you’re told to go to your Medicaid authority and that place has reviews all over the place, you get nervous. However, my experience with N180 has been nothing short of great. You need to be willing to put in the work! But the staff are thoughtful and are always willing to go the extra mile when you need it.

The crisis team saved my nephew! Got him set up with a really amazing therapist too after he graduated. Love to see him light up and tell me about his appointments with her.

I honestly loved coming here for therapy. My therapist (Jodi) was amazing and I'm actively trying to return to therapy here. 10/10 would recommend.

I always gotten good care, the only issue I have is they keep pushing the DBT at me, when I told them I don't do good in groups or the skills are to hard for me, I was told DBT or go somewhere else for therapy, you should be able to provide me with a therapists, so my mental health services don't have to be scattered with a bunch of mental health agencies.

I have to totally disagree with some of the negative reviews on here. They help anyone who wants help. I have seen several people come in, and they are all treated great and with professionalism. I have got every service I asked for or was referred to. Everyone is polite, and they go out of their way to help when you ask. They always answer any questions I have, and they work one on one with my primary care doctor to give me the best help they can. I recommend Montcalm Care Network 100% and assure you that if you give them a try, you will get the help you need. They even help with transportation to appointments if needed. I can not say enough how appreciative I am for the staff there. Thank you.

I have been seeing Jordan Engelhard for about two years, once a week. He's been extremely helpful with my anxiety disorder and my depressive disorder. I would recommend him to those looking to find validation, reassurance, and those looking to make changes for the better.

I’ve been going to Pine Rest now for over ten years. I used to get medication from my doctor until I switched doctors and my new doctor told me “I’m not a psychiatrist and I’d like you to see someone who knows all about mental health.” So she referred me to Pine Rest. I love that I can see both my psychiatrist and my therapist all in one location so they can communicate with each other to do what’s best for me! I’ve never had a single issue there except with one person and I handled that by switching to someone else. The receptionists are all super friendly and helpful. The medical assistants and nurses are very kind. I recommend this place every time I know someone needs to be seen. And it’s always clean and an inviting atmosphere. Thank you all!

This rehab doesn’t sugarcoat recovery, it’s intense, honest, and exactly what I needed to rebuild my life. They taught me accountability, discipline, and self-worth. If you’re ready to change, this is where it happens. Tough love, real support and lasting results. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the best. The program challenged me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.... Those challenges were vital and needed to break old patterns and live life a new way. Clean and sober since Feb 25, 2025.

The VA has come a long way since 2005 when I got enrolled. This facility is superb. The services offering is top notch. So nice not having to drive to Battle Creek/Ann Arbor/Detroit.

I feel like they always take care of me. The people that work here do their best. Shortcomings typically come from the red tape the government has in place.

Doctors are thorough and everyone is so helpful!

I've been under psychiatric care for many years, and Dr. Schiller is by far the best I've ever had! She helped me taper off a med that I was on for years, and switched me to something else that is working much better. I feel better than I have in years. She is kind, compassionate, and guides me to what she thinks is best, but always lets me make my own decisions about my care. I'm so happy to have her as my doctor!!

I have been seeing Dr Lisa Hanna going on 6 years now. She helped me get off of some medications that were doing harm to me. She always took things slow, and tapered me off. She always explained why. I used to drive out here from Fruitport until Covid happened. From there on I have been seeing her via webcam/phone. She always tried to do me good. She got me into therapy services, but I did have to go somewhere else closer to home. My preferences for face to face therapy outweighed the cons of webcam/phone therapy. Every single time I have had an episode she was always there to help. She never had any anger towards me. She listens to me when I talk about side effects of medications. She has never forced me to take a specific medication, nor has she ever said "just deal with it." I seen some reviewers here saying the billing is shaky, and that the therapists are not up to par. Literally all the therapists they have are licensed. I never had any issues, and they even let you set up a payment plan. Pine Rest has changed my life significantly. Everyone there is nice, and courteous. I feel alot of empathy here. They really do enjoy doing what they do. Mental Health is tricky. You have to come in with an open mind. You have to be willing to put in the work. Everything that they ask you to do is only because they want you to get better. I have never been asked to do anything that made me worse, and when I did get put on a medication that didn't work out. They were always there to listen and adjust accordingly. When I tell them that something works they stick with it. I have been able to excel in most aspects of life that I used to struggle with since coming here. I definitely feel more connected with my colleagues, and family members. Thank You Pine Rest!

My counselor is Paul Hillebrand and he's an excellent counselor. He helps me with my anxiety, worry, stress, autism spectrum, etc. So back in March 2024, which is this year, I met him in person for the first time and that was awesome. The whole Office looks really nice, well taken care of, especially Paul's little Office. Also it's a nice drive out there from where I live, which is Wyoming, and it's my Uncle David's hometown 🏡🏡🪵🌈🌞🌝🌤🏩🏩🏩🧭🧭🧭🧭🧭
