Great place doing amazing work

My daughter recently was admitted to this hospital after a suicide attempt. This place was amazing. She got the help that she needed. She felt seen & heard. And also got on some much needed medications. Well done Pine Rest.

One of the activity therapists definitely does chatterbate

I completed 8 days at their outpatient program back in March. The psychiatrist, Doctor McFarren, was absolutely amazing and I wish I could bring her into the outside world with me. She listened to how I was feeling and didn’t resort to putting me on some hard core addictive pill right away. The program was nice as well, they had different classes you could choose from so if something didn’t apply to you, you didn’t have to attend. They also had activity classes which were really nice. Group therapy was great and it was nice to be with other people who understood what you were going through. Micah (my group leader), was absolutely amazing. I’m so thankful for them and how comfortable they made group. The only complaint I have which I put on my outtake form was that the group leader Rachel, really should not be leading classes. She might do better with 1-1 or something like that but every class I had that she led, she was not interactive and acted like it was an inconvenience to be there. I even tried to walk out of one of the classes once I realized she was the instructor. One day when Micah was out, Rachel filled our class and we had multiple new people in group and multiple of them said that they were not coming back the next day. A couple girls and I talked to them and explained Rachel was not our normal counselor and Micah was great so they should come back the next day. Thankfully they did, but when I mentioned how much I was struggling with Rachel, over half of my group agreed and said they didn’t not want to take any of her classes and that they wished they knew who the instructor was before we signed up. Maybe for the future- adding the instructors names to the list would be helpful so we can choose accordingly :) Derrick at the front desk was absolutely amazing as well!! And so is Ethan!! So thankful for most of the team there that made a difficult time in my life, seem not so difficult. I made life time friends from this program and I will forever be thankful for that.

I found David to be compassionate and caring. The staff was friendly and courteous. I am saddened that David is closing his practice. nd understanding. The staff was very friendly and urreous. I'm sorry that David is closing his pracrice.

Didn't know what to expect for the evaluations. My son is 3, and they just played with him. He had fun. The phone calls I did prior were long, but well planned out and filled with great questions we have had a great experience so far.

Dr. Raymond Yeow treated my mom at Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center (hospital). He gave exemplary care to her. He sat with family and my mom for over an hour to make sure she understood what her prognosis was and what her care options were. He was kind and compassionate. We appreciated the time and care he gave to all of us.

I had my ultrasound at West Michigan cardiology today. check in was quick and efficient My Sonographer was pleasant. And I was in and out less than a half an hour. I am very impressed and I recommend them.

I love Dr Singh, being my cardiologist, I just had an ICD implant. He made me feel wonderful about getting it in at hospital. He is very polite, funny and caring.

So far so good. I look forward to my therapy sessions here every week. It’s helped me in many ways.

This place is wonderful the staff are amazing and very helpful they take pride in their jobs and are there when you truly need a hand up. They have changed my life in so many ways. A new chapter of my life has opened and I am excited to see where it goes.

This is a wonderful program, truly making a difference in many lives. The WLRP staff are there for the ladies in the program, and become the family many of them need. This is also such a a great place to work, all the staff are passionate about what they do and it's an opportunity to really make a difference to those who need it.

I love Dr Singh, being my cardiologist, I just had an ICD implant. He made me feel wonderful about getting it in at hospital. He is very polite, funny and caring.

Dr Singh saved my life recently. I will be forever greatful for that!!! Sadly, the staff at his office is quite frankly, a mess. They cancel appointments (appointments I was threated that I would be charged for if I canceled), seem uncaring-like you are bothering them. It really is quite sad. I know it is hard to find good help but there has to be better staff out there. The people this place sees are eart patients. Most, like me, are in a frail condition both physically and mentally. We need our cardiologist and their staff to be there for us. Make out lives easier, not more difficult. This office left me crying on a few occasions. I didn't need that. Some comfort would have been nice. Found a new cardiologist at a professional office with great staff.

Heather and Rachel will go above and beyond for you. My therapist and Psychiatrist are absolutely amazing.

They are wonderful. All you do is show up, participate to your comfort level and things start to help. Everyone goes threw things in life and it's helps to just listen and talk it out with them

I see Josh Fortney for medication management and Viola for therapy and I can say with confidence that I've never had better mental health care. I've struggled with therapy my whole life because of trust issues, and I actually look forward to my appointments with Viola. These people have been so good to me. I can't give them enough praise - I feel like I finally have the tools and support to take my life back from mental health problems and Viola and Josh showed me how. I have all the love for them - they deserve vacations and raises :)

I started therapy with Cari October of last year and I have had the best experience! I have finally completed my goals and feel comfortable with my medication and I have completed therapy! 😌 I recommend. 👌

I been going here for a few years now, and I have to say that it has been pretty nice since Covid, and then adding Genoa. Every time I go there now it's usually pretty quit, and the staff are so polite. Thank you ladies! #beautifulpeople#

I owe the entire staff at Barry County Mental Health my life; The Medical Doctors, Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses & LPNs, Psychotherapists, Office Staff, Receptionists, Telephone Operator, Financial Assistance Department, Billing Department and Mail Room Clerks. The Cleaning Staff, and Maintenance Crew... Everybody that works there and keeps the doors open, keeps the lights on. Everybody that takes the calls and answers the questions. Thank you, All of You. I appreciate everything you do.
