Came to this place has been absolutely the best dentition I have ever done in my entire life for myself. Don’t really understand the low rating of this rehab. The only person willing to change has to be yourself. The only outcomes of this is rehab is SOBRIETY, DEATH OR LASTLY PRISON. They genuinely care about your being and I’m glad that God placed me in the care of these people. I wish nothing but the best for EVERYONE that comes through here but you HAVE to do it for yourself.
You have family, friends that care deeply about you and you can better yourself with the personal time you get to yourself. Look for something to believe in because you can not only make a difference in not only yourself but for your children and the people who surround you and love you.

Despite some of the negative comments on here I had to check this place out for myself and I am so happy I did. I've been through very rough and bumpy times as every goes through. The programs offered by Midwest Institute for Addiction were very helpful for me, without them I don't know what would be of my life nowadays. Therapy staff is top notch, knowledgeable and friendly. Nursing staff is excellent and caring. The Doctors take the time to explain what is going on and actually listen to your fears or concerns. I was hesitant at first but glad I went . I hit a deer on my motorcycle at high speed and had several injuries with only able to bear weight on my left hand and arm.The staff are very caring and helpful. When I got there I could hardly slide on a slide board and needed help getting dressed and within a week and a half I was dressing myself transferring to shower, toilet and bed all by myself. Very happy with the program and the staff at rusk.

I’ve unfortunately been to 9 inpatient treatments in Iowa and Hazelden in Minnesota. Powell is easily the best one in Iowa and their programming and staff are right on par with Hazelden. Which is one of the best (maybe the best) treatment in the USA. I highly recommend Powell if you or a loved one is serious about getting sober. They know what it takes to get sober and more importantly what to do to stay sober! 5 ⭐️

I've tried a few methadone clinics, this one is the best I've seen. They do have a few rules that seem rather stupid, but they have gov oversight, so ya have to deal with that kind of BS anywhere you go. They are definitely the nicest and the friendliest out of all the ones T have been to.
Update... the staff that you interact with i.e. the counclers and the nurses are definitely very nice and appear to be honestly intrested in the clients wellbeing, however it took a few months...like 6 or 8 months for the office staff to get my VA insurance worked out and I had to pay cash in the meantime. That was over 2 years ago and they still have not re-embersed a single Penney however I verified with the Va the were paid twice once by me and once by the Va. Should be a law against that sort of thing. I believe it is called fraudulent billing.... If they end up owning you money don't expect to see it soon...however if you owe them and can not pay the will start detoxing you, they did to me when I told them I get paid in 3 days ... they detoxed me for those 3 days. Good luck if you have no other options.

The counselors Sarah and Mr. Fuget are the best counselor hands down and feel everyone knows Dr Kulkarni is the best. When Sarah left to go to the children's side I was worried about who my new counselor would be and Mr. Fuget delivered. With a nice environment and I would highly recommend anybody that needs help to go to Phoenix, Program they offer a treatment that’s unlike others because they’re very compassionate and most of the workers have addiction almost all of them either are addicts or alcoholics or their spouses or their family which helps the classes relate more to us and what we’re going through thank you to the Phoenix program for saving my life

Phoenix is an exceptional treatment center for those ready for change. Committed clients receive unmatched support from a dedicated staff who prepare them to rejoin society effectively.
