This season has been hard with illness, and all of the doctors are booked for days. My 5yo is non-verbal autistic, and we can't wait in a waiting room, hoping to be squeezed in. I called Hamilton Medical Clinic and spoke to Kim. She was so kind and helpful. Instead of pushing us off, she made a few calls and got us set up with a telehealth visit. Such great service.
Obviously they were slammed with in-person and telehealth calls. When I met with the Nurse Practitioner, Caring, she was very kind and informative. She wasn't trying to speed through the call and listened to my concerns and gave advice needed.
Great experience all-around (as great as one can be for a sick kiddo anyways) ☺️

I have just gotten my brother into The Recovery Village Kansas City and I've been incredibly impressed with their process. Their recovery advocates (I have been working with a godsend named Marissa) have been so amazing. They have bent over backwards to help me navigate the process, helped my sister in law, my brother and myself with amazing compassion and have been with me every moment over the last 48 hours from the time I made the first call to the time he left for their facility. At this point it's up to my brother to embrace sobriety but I am firm in the belief that they will all do everything within their power to help him. I have never felt SO supported in my life during this very trying and emotional time.

I've tried a few methadone clinics, this one is the best I've seen. They do have a few rules that seem rather stupid, but they have gov oversight, so ya have to deal with that kind of BS anywhere you go. They are definitely the nicest and the friendliest out of all the ones T have been to.
Update... the staff that you interact with i.e. the counclers and the nurses are definitely very nice and appear to be honestly intrested in the clients wellbeing, however it took a few months...like 6 or 8 months for the office staff to get my VA insurance worked out and I had to pay cash in the meantime. That was over 2 years ago and they still have not re-embersed a single Penney however I verified with the Va the were paid twice once by me and once by the Va. Should be a law against that sort of thing. I believe it is called fraudulent billing.... If they end up owning you money don't expect to see it soon...however if you owe them and can not pay the will start detoxing you, they did to me when I told them I get paid in 3 days ... they detoxed me for those 3 days. Good luck if you have no other options.

Great place. Great counclers. Clean. They have clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff. They have the new check in mobile system so it saves your spot in line. They are fair. Some of the rules are a little silky but they don't set those, Corporate does. So it's not the staffs fault at this location. They probably saved my life. The doctors is very helpful and understanding. She listens. The nurse is a godsend. And the counclers are top of the line.

I was blessed to be able to come to St Gregory Recovery Center for help with alcohol addiction. I am over one year sober now thanks to the caring and knowledgeable staff. Their approach is evidence based and scientific, but also faith based. I experienced God working in my life to help take away my urges to drink and change my thought patterns. I also learned to live the 7 virtues with a great group of peers who all supported each other! Thanks to what I learned at St. Gregory, with a clear and sober head I am able to address and “fix” other flaws and weaknesses as well. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I've been a client here since 2011, and I'm so grateful. It's a life saver, but like all recovery clinics you can only get out of it what you put into it. It's easy to blame others when things go wrong, but it's almost always our fault! I had a very hard time, until I stopped arguing and followed direction! Jessi Allard was my therapist/counselor at EFR. That woman helped me change my life within a year. I pushed and tried so hard because I was at rock bottom and she did not let me fail. She showed me that I was capable and worthy of so much in life. It is very rare for me to find a therapist that would listen to me. So finding Jessi and getting an actual diagnosis was the best thing that could have ever happened to me! When I needed extra help she scheduled me twice a week, and if I needed space or less time it would be once a week. Truly this is amazing place I had so many workers who truly cared and listen just recently I went through some really hard stuff and my caseworker let me cry to him and was there and knew excatly how to be support these people truly aren't in it for money but I truly see they are there to be support and show compassion to the clients make sure there needs are met

Compass Health is a great place to go for all your mental health needs. As a guy, there is a stigma behind mental health but everyone at Compass treats me with care and compassion. Their employees truly get to know you and are there for you whenever you need something.

I like in spite of the fact that sometimes you do run into people this having a bad day and they will mess up the results of the service that you might get. All in all it has been my experience that KU will dig deep to find out what is going on with your body I have discovered two classic conditions that I had that if I hadn't went to KU I probably would have never discovered that I had them textbook conditions but they kept digging they kept searching until they found out what it was and treated me and I'm living my life pretty much normally. I know it's not a perfect place but they are working with their patients.

Like many American families, our family who lives by doing business does not have health insurance. And if you heard the details, you'd understand it's really not our fault... I'm an American and my wife a recent legal immigrant.
However, this landed at a time when my wife was over 8 months pregnant.
Well, our family owes this hospital a lot more than money that we can't pay.
They without questioning our insurance state, within a span of about 2 months, safely bring my daughter into this world AND saved my wife's life from a serious infection.
Thank you so much from literally the absolute bottom of my heart as the dad/ husband, Thank you to all your staff that helped us and everyone who was genuinely emotionally invested in helping us, we are so grateful and I'm so grateful to be back @ home with them both.
