Don’t really understand the low rating of this rehab. The only person willing to change has to be yourself. The only outcomes of this is rehab is SOBRIETY, DEATH OR LASTLY PRISON. They genuinely care about your being and I’m glad that God placed me in the care of these people. I wish nothing but the best for EVERYONE that comes through here but you HAVE to do it for yourself.
You have family, friends that care deeply about you and you can better yourself with the personal time you get to yourself. Look for something to believe in because you can not only make a difference in not only yourself but for your children and the people who surround you and love you.

My family of 5, recently bumped to 7, have all been in services with NCMMHC in one aspect or another for around a decade. Between therapy, medication treatments, case workers, and whatever else we've had experience with, I don't know where we'd be without them! We have multiple therapists, medication therapy doctors, and case workers between us all, each of whom have made awesome contributions to handling and processing our mental and emotional challenges. But it's not just been individual. Our family as a unit has had so much growth and progress thanks to the services we receive. I love that we are able to get that, family sessions and such along with individual. And one of the things I'm most grateful for, is how they don't hesitate to help you out or work you in same day when you're having a crisis. I'll just say it again, I don't know where we'd be without them, and I'll forever be grateful!

I really appreciate how kind and courteous everyone is. It took a while to get an initial appointment to see a new psychiatrist and therapist when I first moved to the area, but there is such a nationwide shortage of mental health workers, it's totally understandable. I now have a therapist I see twice a week, a psychiatrist I see once a month, an IHH caseworker, AND a peer support counselor all in one place! Plus, they offer telehealth, making it convenient for people like me who can't drive and have limited access to transportation.

Very good place to go if you were needing help with an addiction very good workers. Everyone is nice all staff kitchen and maintenance and medical plenty of recreation to do to stay busy big classroom plenty of people to listen to and listen to their addiction stories to try to help you cope with yours into eight in your recovery very good program. I was there last August and I am now a year and two months sober so I highly recommend this outfit. My brother went through it as well. A long time ago and it worked for him as well. Having been to and having worked at multiple treatment centers, I have to say that Sana Lake is the best one I have been to. The staff cares and work their butts off. They were short-staffed when I came, but they were still able to pull it off and gave me a great experience. Great food, too! The owner even comes in multiple times a week and runs a group on Thursdays. He shares his personal life story. You do not get that very often. The nursing staff is very caring as well. I could not sleep for several nights, so the nurse practitioner tweaked my medication several times until we found the right combination. If you’re contemplating going or returning to treatment, you are going to find a better place, in my opinion. I feel that I am ready and finally capable of staying sober long term. Thank you to ALL the staff at Sana Lake.

Powell saved my life. Was there during Christmas of 2024 and it was the best thing I could’ve ever done for myself. Amazing 24/7 nurse staff that literally saved my life in the middle of the night. An amazing counselor team, men and women’s therapists that were actually some of the easiest therapists I’ve ever gotten to talk to. Couldn’t recommend a better place to help you recover.
And honestly, the people giving one star reviews and such are people that do not want to recover. This place is not a hotel or a spa that’s gonna rub your feet through the process. You are going to be sober 100% if you do what they tell you and that’s that. When I was there I would see people constantly go up to ER (needed) and come back a week later looking so much healthier and active. Never ever ever would I imagine Powell to turn people away unless they were completely full or even recommend someone to go somewhere else. I said it already but I’ll say it again, these people did not want to get sober, period.

The staff at Powell are the kindest, most caring and attentive people. Matt takes an interest in every patient. The councilors are available anytime to talk. The facility is clean and quiet.
AA and NA meetings are attended daily with small group and community groups for healing and therapeutic purposes. Each patient is an individual and many small focus groups are held to give more pointed treatment.
Inpatient treatment is compassionate and still individualized. Outpatient and Continuing Care keep patients focused and recovery driven.
I am grateful for my experience and recovery is within your grasp.

I usually go to St Luke’s Barry Rd, but needed to be seen sooner than later so I took an appointment here at SMITHVILLE. The experience has been wonderful, from the front desk, to the Nurse, lastly to the doctor. Even the lady that took my blood was so kind and quick! They were very engaging and really listened to my concerns, which is so important to me. I recommend this St Luke’s 100%!!!
