Any low income individuals seeking medication management through Red Rock should be sure to advocate for themselves in regards to transparency around cost of medication.I was prescribed Trintellix for major depressive disorder, and it costs so much even they wouldn t cover it since I had no insurance, so they gave me samples every time I was due for a refill. I applied for Medicare and thankfully it was approved and covered the medication. I ve been stable on this medication for around a year, but now I make too much to qualify for Medicare. Now, even with a coupon this medication is over $600, around what I pay for rent every month. I am now forced to choose between the medication that keeps my debilitating depression manageable/suicidal thoughts in check and a roof over my head. It s negligent of them to do this without consent or communication with the patient. Shame on you Red Rock, you are supposed to be helping your community not burdening us further.

This place is horrendous all my problems were just ignored by staff and no help was given. They tried making me stay until I was 18 which I was 16 at the start and in the few weeks I had gotten there I lost 40lbs due to malnutrition. I walked in at 160lbs and left at 118lbs all of the 5 stars are clearly either bots or the corrupted staff there was only one man there that tried to understand but as soon as someone else would enter he s have to act different towards us and act like we weren t talking before. This place ended up giving me more issues than solutions. They then sent me out and made me sign a deal to go to their therapist for months if I did that then I wouldn t have to stay till adulthood. They make you wear used underwear pants shirts the beds are too small for majority of normal sized people and the food isn t even enough to feel a small dog at best go somewhere else if you have the chance

This place was horrible. They did not care about food restrictions or allergies. When I had multiple allergic reactions all they gave me was an anti-depression pill. ( Mind you that I was in there because of an intentional pill overdose. ) You had to eat all your food otherwise you would be diagnosed with anorexia and depression. The staff were rude and always assumed that the kids were attention seeking. When I did not want to talk to people about my problems they threatened me with long term and more medicine that I’m allergic to. We would sit at tables and raise our hand to do absolutely everything! ( Ex: Getting water, stretching our legs, talking, going to the restroom, tying our hair up, getting a tissue, getting a pencil, get handed an eraser, but only if you were done and didn’t have a pencil near you.) The doctor there hated us for no reason. Multiple times she would threaten us with long term care. I had to sleep on the floor after throwing up medicine. ( I hade just gotten out of the hospital that day and couldn’t even walk or talk in a full sentence. They separated girls and boys there. When I was there, there was one boy and they only let him talk with us when we were outside. Inside he could never even look at us. When we would go outside it was concrete and a basketball hoop with grass on one side. It was really small, but the fence that blocked the trees and kept us inside was almost 13 feet high. There was a police officer with a loaded gun who would watch us all day. You could not shut the doors at night. Which sucks because the night staff would play card games or watch TV all night long. (ON FULL VOLUME) It felt like a prison. Please if you need help DON’T call or go to this place it WILL NOT help you. Never send anyone here, honestly I wouldn’t send people I don’t like here…EVER!!! I can’t even write everything that happened to the kids here, it was terrible. Please find a better place to send your kids if they need help.

Accepted Insurance

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I barely give it a star. This place is a joke. Maybe it's the protocol in which behaviorial health centers are directed. Tried making an intake appointment. Had to reschedule after snow storm.. which they can call and tell me they're not going to be there the day B4 but you can't call me to reschedule. Second time I made an appointment, my profile was dropped on the 9th and my appointment was on the 15th. So I'mma have to go back up there and start this process all * over again. Do doctors offices just throw your case out because you didn't show up. No they don't Y. Y. So now I have to go up there again. This is the third time I have to go up there and make a appointment. I am stuck in my head enough as it is. You guys can't help me out to make an appointment. They are 2 hours long. So what were you doing in the 2 hours? There was a snow blizzard. You couldn't call me to tell me you're there. Instead when I called make an appointment the lady gets an attitude with me. You guys are quick to throw us in Griffin If we come in there telling the truth about our depression. I finally decided to talk about it and come to somewhere I thought I could trust but that was wrong. So you throw me in Griffin where there's nothing to talk about cuz you're on thorazine the whole time cuz you guys don't know how to handle people with depression or any other form of mental illness. I'm so sick of this place. Our meds is why we are up there. So we can feel better. But that's not y'all's number one focus. Your number one focus is making us wait months to see a therapist to get meds. Does none of your staff have any personal experience with depression? I think maybe you should start hiring people that do because you guys don't have a f clue. Meds 1st if we know what works and then a therapist. AND THE PROCESS IS SO UNORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNEDUCATED. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE.

Typical “we’re here to help veterans” mentality and then don’t help the veteran. Just like most mental health organizations they’re full of hot air and prayers.

This facility was the first I could get an appointment with however that was just intake appointment and then I waited months to see someone. Had I’d of know how it was gonna go I would’ve just waited to go somewhere else. I waited months for an appointment but then it was canceled by the counselor the day before they said they would reach out to reschedule. Weeks went by no call. I called the office and they told leave a message with the person I was supposed to have appointment with and if she doesn’t call back in a few days for me to give them another call. I didn’t understand why I was the one who needed to repeatedly call then I was not the one who cancelled the appointment. Eventually I got ahold of her and rescheduled, when I got the appointment I was met with a woman who said “well I can understand that” like 100x…If I wanted a parrot I would’ve bought one

I recently moved to Oklahoma and I cannot express how much Red Rock has seriously made my move just that much easier on me. They’re a 1-stop-shop with no hassles or runarounds, they give good solid info. What’s even more incredible is being able to pick up medication refills at their convenient and helpful med-clinic. So far I’m a huge fan of this place!
