I must truly say there's a level of excellence and ability to pay attention to details in this facility that is second to none. My mother is receiving the best of care where I never have to wonder if she's being mishandled or misplaced. Miss Joy Ambrose has been there every step of the way proving that she is more than just a title she is a wonderful human being and always professional. Mr Fernando villemar always Hands-On and concerned has proven to go the distance and beyond to resolve matters. I cannot forgive Miss Margaret nurse manager on the 4th floor as welcoming and concerned as if she's taking care of a newborn child. God bless this entire staff sometimes we're looking outside our community for excellence Brooklyn center for rehabilitation is the standard of excellence. David Millard

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When you choose drug rehab in New York, you'll participate in a variety of treatments that are designed to help you live a drug-free lifestyle. Common methods of treatment include group, individual, and family counseling, medication management, nutrition, exercise, and management of co-occurring mental health disorders.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The facility was really good and the rehab was amazing. I was walking wobbly when I first came here and now I'm able to walk properly without a walker. I would definitely recommend the facility to anyone in search of a rehab. Thank you Brooklyn center and thank you to all the nurses that helped me as well

Response from the owner

My mother was transfered to this facility on 7/18/25 with just IV line brusises on her arm . On 8/7/25 my sister noticed a new bed sore on her left which was always covered with high socks ! That lead us to contact the wound care department to examine it. As he was doing so I asked to look at my mother's back and in her pampers all to horribly find bed sores so wide and massive to the point I could see her inner layers ! This is all due to not turning her every 2 hours and leaving her in her solid diapers . 95 % of the staff is talking hanging around the nurse desk or just nowhere to be found and they look at you like your crazy and keeping it real their bias if your not from that country where their from you aren't cared for I even had one tell me that her lunch is now and she will miss her lunch if she stays to finish with my mother shes hungry and needs to eat she be back what kind of place is this !! My mom room remains very cold you cant a just the thermostat and the food is disgusting ...WARNING DONT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE

Response from the owner

This is a fairly new place that is still working out the kinks. The meals needs to be warmer and better, they need more CNA's on the second floor & nurses (60 patients - have at least 8 CNA's and 5 nurses-have overlapping tours ex 7a-3p & 5a-1p) I enjoyed working with the rehab staff- they should rewarded for their efforts in getting patients better. The Nurses and CNA'S should be rewarded as well - I ran into one CNA ( on the pm tour that shouldn't work with patients and I made my complaints to about her- hopefully the head nurse listen to avoid future problems with this individual)! Unfortunately I had a social worker for the 3rd floor is not helpful and needs to be caring for patients otherwise, I want to take the time to Thank the Staff for professionalism from the Cleaners,CNAs,the Nurses all the way to Therapist! 💖 Thank You at 170 Buffalo Ave
