Advanced Human Services provides expert and personalized care for individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders in Forest Hills and throughout Queens County, New York. They’re located in Forest Hills next to the Forest Hills Gardens.

The facility serves young adults, adults and seniors with diverse challenges from problematic gambling habits and nicotine addiction to trauma, experiences of sexual abuse and domestic or intimate partner violence.

Support for Diverse Client Populations

This is in addition to mental health support, substance use recovery and treatment for co-occurring disorders. They also support individuals involved in the criminal justice system, those living with HIV/AIDS and people managing both chronic pain and substance use challenges.

The facility provides multi-lingual services in English, Hebrew and Polish as well as Ukrainian and Russian, enabling them to deliver culturally competent support that honors each client’s background and needs. To keep costs low, they accept Medicaid and private insurance and also leverage state-funded health coverage to expand access to care. Opioid Detoxification and Medication-Supported Recovery

For alcohol dependence, the clinic may prescribe Acamprosate and Disulfiram to help manage withdrawal symptoms. Outpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Medically Assisted Detox

Treatments
