Pride is a fundamental institution offering comprehensive co occurring mental and substance programs for those in the Lgbtg2IA+ community who struggle with addiction and mental health in Mn and across the country. I have been a resident, visitor and have worked with pride through a CPRS program bringing peer services to individuals. To any brand new guests at the Retreat reading Google reviews, either because you re worried about what exactly you ve signed up for, or just want to see what others experiences have been like put the phone away this place is extraordinary. It might make you upset sometimes, to understand deeply uncomfortable truths about yourself. Might piss you off a little, wherein you ll learn a habit of healthy resolution. You ll see an emotional sensitivity from the manliest, and a surprising level of courage from the meek.Learn from this place. When a line of people out the door say good morning and ask how are you doing today? it s not just a formality they TRULY want to know. You might never find a group of friends quite like the ones you ll have at the Retreat. From one guy who s had trouble seeing shit to the end for my entire life, going here (and sticking with it) was inarguably the best decision I ve ever made.

Like any VA facility, this one has many concerns to resolve to provide quality care to veterans. They seem to do their best with less. Personnel and provider shortages are becoming a problem. Some appointments can take several months to be seen. Community care needs to improve in providing referrals for quality care outside the VA and not just those who are the lowest bidders. VA recently denied over $10k in payments to my dental surgeon because they couldn t get the bill submitted within their 6 month window because the clerks had repeated bouts of COVID. I can no longer maintain continuity of care because of VAs lack of consideration. The dental provider was highly skilled and experienced. Now he refuses any further authorizations from any VA. Today s visit went very well at the VA for a minor procedure. All staff and providers were delightfully cheerful. That is certainly an improvement. God bless!

Minnesota is ranked 20th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,630.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Minnesota vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Minnesota. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Minnesota that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Minnesota.
