I attended Pride Institute more than once. I struggled with addiction for a very long time before I finally got sober over two year ago. The Director of Clinical Services was kind, caring, dedicated, and supportive. His door was most always open. I would recommend Pride Institute!!

I was run off the road had women and men in my life nowhere to go and they gave me a place to stay. In a little bit of a future going forward but I just didn't know where to go bewildered because no matter what I do I was dead but at least there I get a little chance of a little life that was full to some extent I should have grabbed them more but it didn't know what to do thanks for being there

The Pride Institute is a place of miracles. The healing and recovery that takes place here is life-changing. I cannot speak highly enough, of the dedication of the staff. From counselors to therapists, from the tech staff to the cooks who prepare our daily meal, they are all 100% dedicated to the clients. In addition, the sense of community that is fostered here allow each individual to shine. You find yourself among peers who often have the same struggles that you have had. You truly find yourself supported, and definitely not alone. If you are serious about getting sober, and have the opportunity to get to the Pride Institute, you should definitely consider this one of your best options.

I recently completed my time at Hazelden Betty Ford, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and welcomed into a community that truly understands the journey to recovery. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and met so many lifelong friends who continue to be an important part of my life. During my time there, I learned that I can have fun while being sober, which was a huge revelation for me. The program gave me valuable life skills that I will carry with me forever, and the staff helped me get my medications sorted out, which made a world of difference in my day-to-day well-being. I especially appreciated the day treatment program, which kept me engaged, motivated, and focused on my recovery. Now that I’m in IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), I’m still enjoying the supportive structure and continuing to grow every day. Hazelden Betty Ford gave me the tools, confidence, and friendships that make living sober not just possible, but truly fulfilling.

I am currently in the day treatment program here and it’s amazing. It has truly helped me learn ways to stay sober and deal with my mental health issues. I am very grateful for this place and would recommend it to people looking for a place to recover.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation has amazing staffing that cares deeply about the patients in their care. The support given to me by the staff was incredible and you can tell they truly care about recovery.

My husband struggled with alcoholism for many years. He was in and out of treatment, and kept relapsing. When he talks about his experience at The Retreat, he talks about how they helped him to learn to live his life differently. I am thankful every day for the miracle of his recovery, and that he found his way to The Retreat.

Our Daughter is alive today because of God’s love and grace and a big help from The Retreat. She has been sober now for over 3 years. Thank you staff at the Retreat for giving us our daughter back. She spent 2 months there and because she was ready to change The Retreat assisted her in finding new direction for her life. The true key to it all was her desire to never return to the past life and her commitment to change it. The Retreat was the Instrumental cog to assist in that journey.

This is a great center to stay sober. they have helped me so much, I'm very grateful with them because of their program that makes you feel special and they make you forget that alcohol was necessary for your life. Beautiful people here!

It's a nice place to start your recovery. You can relay y on the people there to support and help you through this challenging time. Their unique programs make it so much easier to be in a straight environment.

Great staff, great program, saved my life

Recovery happens when the client wants it badly enough. I found the counselors, facilitators and therapists had genuine concern for my well being. I still attend therapy here.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava. Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy. If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! I've been to several treatments and NEVER maintained my recovery until I went here! My family and I will be forever grateful to Park Ave for their dedication to save lives they certainly saved mine!

The staff is amazing and only wants to help in any way they can. The facility itself is well kept, very clean with a peaceful environment, comfortable and serene. This is the best place for recovery if you are an addict in the LGBT community, they help people who want to work towards a better life. I can't say enough good things about this facility and its employees, they have helped me to change my life.

I enjoyed participating in H&I at Pride multiple times in the past. A great way to give back to the recovery community.

As a Pride alumni, I can proudly say this is the culturally specific place for a queer person seeking treatment. Thanks to Rule 25 and Minnesota’s inclusive and affirming approach toward LGBTQ+ folks, opportunities like this exist - and I’m so grateful for that. Pride played a vital role in my journey to recovery and self-acceptance, and I’ll always be thankful for the community and support I found here.
