We asked for a female therapist who understands both the teenage brain and adulthood. We found Jacey. She not only understands the teenage brain, she also understands young single motherhood, heavy life circumstances with a professional high demanding career, graduate school and commitment in the community. Best experience I’ve had in any type of therapy or treatment. New Beginnings, and the counselor Kelly in particular, were life changing to me. The structure included substance use coping skills but more information on mental health in general. The care from Kelly was unmistakable. Highly recommended program!

Thirty two years ago I was an enraged, always angry at the world teenager dealing with substance issues and a BH diagnosis. The staff at Omegon saved my life. I don’t remember the names of the staff but I do remember one woman with reddish blonde hair who had a golden retriever. That woman and that dog were a godsend to me. The other clients I met while there were awesome as well. We all had our issues and chips on our shoulders. But we made it work. Thank you.

I'm currently in crtc as KY initials, and I can confidently say this place was scary at first and really hard place to wanna be in but now I've put in lots of effort and have grown to be more communicative and trusting of others due to my lovely therapists who truly show they care and they've helped me when things were getting bad and I became hopeless, the school there, not so great due to only there being 2 classes Science & history. But it's easy so Im not complaining. I will be leaving crtc after 20 days or less, and I feel my mental health has improved and I've became more mature as a 13 almost 14 year old, I believe once you put in the effort and are determined to do what it takes to leave then you will get out in no time, I have almost been here 5 months and I am happy to say I've made lots of progress thanks to my staff and admin, peers time to time start conflict since I've been here but it's normal to fight with people you live with because it's healthy to express your emotions, but I rather recommend having a monitored conversation! It's something the staff offer if you feel you are having a hard time with someone and you both need to talk & or repair talk. Crtc has taught me manners and kindness and for that I appreciate because I found myself doing something I wouldn't think of doing ever before I got here, I learned to love myself & not care what others think and have pride in the things I do, so, I just wanted to say before I leave thank you crtc for helping me learn new and healthy coping skills, I'm on the track to success not only because of my doing, but because you believed I could and that helped a lot. Thank you for everything you have done and I hope things get better for anyone having to go here, I wish you all the best of luck and that they have similar results to me when you try your hardest. I've learned new and better habits rather than unhealthy, I don't sh anymore and my intrusive thoughts have been gone for months, now just know we all go through bad times, but you'll get through it no matter how hard it seems example, it may seem like you're stuck in a really bad thunderstorm but the storm will pass, it always does, just keep walking and you'll get there guys. P.s when I first got here If im being 100% honest I would have given a bad review saying something like "this place sucks!" or "0 stars because staff are the worst and this place is like a prison!!!" but I didn't, why? Because I knew for me personally it wasn't true. So, now that I gave it a shot and tried my best it's not so bad, the staff leave left and right but sometimes you gotta be optimistic and welcoming to new faces because even the newer staff have been able to help me even if they don't know me like some staff do they try, and that's what matters to me, thank you Crtc for opening my eyes and helping me learn to trust again. - Ky 2023

So 112 was the best treatment centers I've been too, that was the first time I went there I didn't like it but the 2nd time BOB helped me so much and I've been sober goin on 4yrs now and if itv wasnt for 112 and Bob I woukd still be drinkn, so I thank god for your treatment centers.

This place is hands down the most helpful place I’ve gone for treatment! I’ve been to treatment 17 times and three of those times I went through them, each time I did I stayed sober for longer periods of time than any others! The consoler Bob is awesome and knowledgeable. I have over a year sober and I couldn’t have done it without the help of this place. It is under new ownership and the owners are truly a God send!

The nutritionist there is HORRIBLE. I personally am lactose intolerant and when I was admitted my liver was bad, so I needed a diet tailored to helping me recover. She told me if I can’t find anything to just eat from the salad bar. I stood my ground and she let the kitchen staff know I was lactose intolerant and couldn’t eat fried stuff but that is ridiculous I should not have to argue with her. Then my roommate had ARFID so she needed dietary help, and the nutritionist told her to eat bread. That’s a sad and pathetic excuse for a nutritionist. Staffs great but they should certainly fire her.

With any institution trying to implement a broad program for individuals, there are bound to be issues. With that being said, my time at HBF Plymouth was invaluable. I especially want to mention Mary the psychologist & counselors Sara and Cozi on the Pioneer Unit. Advocacy is a huge part of individual recovery, and I was especially encouraged by these three to ask for what I need when I need it. It works if you work it!

Went to this place in 2018 short term program, 3 months. Saved and changed my life. I understand it may not be for some but it always starts with yourself, you have to really want it and if you do the people and counselors here will help guide your way. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows here or anywhere for that matter, you have to be strong you have to be determined and if you are this place will work wonders for you. I'll have 8 years sober in 2 days and it all started here. Life is what you make it. If you're lost it doesn't mean you're lost forever, sometimes we all just need a little help and adult and teen challenge can be that help.

I went here back in 2023 I believe in the beginning of July. I delayed my go and staff was saying you’ll wish you went sooner I did! I loved it this place has been a huge part of my sobriety I wish I could’ve stayed longer than a month! Which they will allow you to stay longer! They do help you find scholarships so you can get in! Do no hesitate just call! I still struggle with addiction but I have slowed down a lot because of this place! They do offer help after just call and make the change here!

Having been here for over 10 years I can tell you there’s not a better place to go, without Valhalla (BHG) I wouldn’t be able to thrive and live a normal life which I’ve been able to do. So far my experience with Anne Marie has been TERRIBLE!!!! Early in recovery dealing with disconnection notices and getting back into the work force relying on public transportation in rural Minnesota and trying to find housing is NOT EASY and neither it is an excuse, but I am not sure how she can be kicked out of group after 1 group absence and individual. It is frustrating to work with a provider who calls their clients names during sessions and communicates in a condescending manner. Is this place not trauma informed? I’m so confused as to how I was discharged without being able to speak for myself or to Anne Marie’s supervisor. UPDATE: Club recovery was ready to listen to my concerns and was quick to offer an efficient solution. I am highly satisfied with the care that I've received at Club Recovery, but amazed at their proficient customer service.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava. Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy. If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! I've gone to inpatient in Shakopee and outpatient with lodging in Chaska. Both locations the staff is great. Counselors, techs, peer recovery specialists, medical staff, even kitchen staff. All of them truly care about our recovery, and will do everything they can for you. Northstar also has sober housing if you need it after treatment.

I am an alumni, I am from Anoka so after my terrible experience at (the old) River place in Anoka, I went to Transformation house. 8 actually went there a few times , only completed it one time though. I couldn't tell you today how the program is TBH, but back when Betty was the owner (R.I.P.) and when Brian was the head councilor, and Angel was one of the cooks and Natalie was one of the technicians.... Back than that place really helped me out. They were so patient with me, they gave me the opportunity to get whatever I want out of it. Which really is like most places. Whatever you put into it you will get out of it. I hope and pray that the love and care Betty had for people in recovery lives on through Shiloh Ministries (Transformation house)

I can't say enough good things about Transformation House. My experience here was a night and day difference from my previous treatment center. My counselor was incredible – so empathetic and understanding, which made it easier to be honest and work through things. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well-being. It's clear they're not just going through the motions. What I appreciated most was that they focused on helping me find the right path forward, even after I left. The outpatient program they connected me with was fantastic. Today, I'm proud to say I've graduated, I'm in college, I have a job, and most importantly, I have my kids back in my life. My advice to anyone going to Transformation House is to be honest with yourself and your counselor, and truly commit to the process. Stop making excuses and put in the work – they will meet you where you are and provide the support you need. I also built some strong connections with the other women there. The staff creates a supportive environment, but ultimately, your willingness to change is key. Transformation House truly changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far I've come.

idk about wakiagun but KOLA be the cleanest shelter/day center I have been to in MPLS. love not having to call to get a spot you just show up and they open doors at 7pm but spots get filled quickly. Holds like 25-30 men and 5-10 women. Seriously only place I feel safe to sleep and not trip.
