Abria Recovery in Burnsville truly helped change my life. I came in at a point where I really needed structure, accountability, and people who actually cared about what happened to me. From the beginning, I felt like I was treated like a real person instead of just another client, and that meant a lot. Mike deserves a lot of credit because you can tell he genuinely cares about the people there. He takes time to listen, treats everyone with respect, and really wants to see people succeed. That kind of support makes a huge difference when you’re trying to rebuild your life. Sydney was also an amazing counselor. She was easy to talk to, honest when I needed to hear it, and supportive throughout the process. She helped me work through a lot and played a big role in my recovery. Recovery is hard, but Abria gave me a solid foundation and connected me with people who helped me move forward. I’m genuinely grateful for my time there and would recommend Abria Recovery to anyone who’s serious about making a change.

Was discharged for no specific reason prematurely the day before I was supposed to get my 9 month at the alumni meeting, when the "Head of security" who helps run it has less sober time than me because he took psilocybin mushrooms as a "Spiritual journey" 2 months ago in Egypt. Then decided to tell clients about it as a house manager. One of the counselors husband is a CPRS who claimed 300 hours of CPRS work time in October while working a full time job? He even tried concoct a plan to split Doordash money with one of my old housemates zack so he could have money in early recovery. I've heard staff violate HYPA numerous times. The way I was thrown out of there completely clean and sober with no empathy was appalling. I have receipts for most if not all of this. Abria has since told me they will trespass me due to believing I'm "Unstable and violent" but all of this seems pretty coherent to me. The only weapon I'll be bringing to abria is a deposition. Don't go here. Very do as I say not as I do and favoritism type program

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
