I want to say how positive my experience at RMC was. My husband had to have a pace maker put in unexpectedly. Dr. Kameron and all the nurses and staff on 3rd floor were amazing. They were attentive, caring, and present the whole time we were there. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I will forever be grateful for the good care my husband received. I am so thankful we have RMC in our region.

It’s a great place. The parking is extremely easy. It is located beside the railroad tracks up on a hill. They do draw blood and do labs in house, which is extremely convenient. Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders is a residential treatment program located in Columbiana, Alabama. As many other reviews here say, going to treatment was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. I knew I needed help, but I was terrified of the process of getting it, especially because I had never known anyone who had done intensive mental health treatment like the kind Magnolia Creek offers. But after completing my treatment at MC, I can honestly say that it is the best and most important thing I have ever done for myself. Magnolia Creek taught me not just about how to recover but also about what led me to my ED in the first place—and why that origin matters. The group therapies stand out as some of the best conversations I’ve ever had about mental health—all the clinicians at MC contributed to making these talks so meaningful, but especially Sam and Madison! My individual team changed my life with such personal, passionate, empathetic, recovery-focused care. Anna, my therapist, helped me do things in the weeks I was in treatment that I never thought would be possible for me. Because of her and my dietitian, Emma’s, expert care, I am now able to not only handle my ED but also start living a life full of love and care for myself. Anna and her loving spirit and unmatched emotional intelligence challenged me when I needed it and nurtured me when I couldn’t do it for myself. She has left a handprint on my heart I will carry with me in my recovery forever. I also am so thankful for Dylan’s leadership in the nutrition space at MC; his dedication and passion for what MC is doing and for the clients’ recoveries made so much possible for me while I was there. The rest of the staff at MC was also key to making my experience what it was. I was so scared of what treatment would be, but the RCSes and facility staff made me feel so looked after and safe that I was able to really focus on the hard work of recovery and to let the other worries fade. I’m so grateful for the kindness and care that the staff of MC showed me in my time there. My life is forever changed by the wonderful programming and people of Magnolia Creek. I can never say thank you enough to everyone there for allowing me the space to imagine and create a better life for myself. I cannot recommend MC—and treatment—more.

Magnolia Creek truly helped me in ways that I didn’t know were possible. Going back to treatment and having to put my life on pause was a difficult and scary decision, but I was welcomed with open arms into a safe place to heal. Over my time at MC, I learned a lot about myself with the help of my amazing team and many other staff/clients. My team was truly the best, they met me where I was at, while also challenging me. I felt genuinely supported, cared for, and seen throughout my experience here. I am forever grateful for all the people I met at Magnolia Creek and how they changed my life and recovery for the better!

***Disclaimer: My review is concerning a delivery experience to the facility.*** This facility placed a very large order of 99 items at Sam's. I accepted the order, and saw that there was no tip attached to it, but assumed since it was such a large order, the customer probably wanted to wait until after everything was delivered before tipping, which is understandable, so I proceeded with shopping for the order. Things didn't exactly go the way I thought they would, but I've since been tipped (and tipped fairly) for the amount of effort required to complete their order. I really appreciate their willingness to address and rectify this ordeal. It says a lot about the level of importance they place on the people they encounter in the day to day operations of the center, which inadvertently also says a lot about the quality of treatment I'm sure they also give to their patients. Thank you so much for being willing to work this out, and I look forward to serving you again in the future. Have a great day!

I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them. In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope. People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

First of all, if you or a loved one are struggling with addiction of any kind, please know there is hope. My heart goes out to you. Stay strong, stay connected, and never lose faith. ARP has truly been an angel sent into my life. I feel so blessed that our paths crossed. When I thought my world was ending and I was losing all hope, they stepped in—for both me and my daughter. Now, about five years later, I can honestly say they saved my daughter’s life, and in many ways, they saved my family too. It’s not magic—it takes hard work—but none of it would have been possible without the people who work there. I may forget some names, but Jeff in particular is a gift from God. He does his job with love, empathy, honesty, a sense of fun, and unwavering dedication. I truly hope ARP can help you or your loved ones the way they helped us. I know every journey is different, but from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the very best. Thank you, ARP and team, for everything you’ve done for my daughter. Watching her grow free from chains and thrive is priceless. Thank you!

Montgomery Metro Treatment Center is an incredible facility with even more incredible staff. Every member of the staff are kind, accommodating, knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to do everything they can to help you. In a time when recovery is often stigmatized, compassionate staff with lived experience is KEY to connecting on a personal level with people going through substance abuse recovery, and in my opinion, Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and everyone working there, from the receptionist, to the counselors, the nurses, and the doctor, are all godsends. If you are apprehensive about getting help here, please, I urge you to come inside and just ask to speak with any of the counselors, or nurse Tony. You WILL be taken care of here, you will be seen not as an addict but as a person looking to make a change, take the first step.

This place isn't too bad. They have a very high turnover rate as far as counselors and pharmacy techs go. Always new employees rotating in and out. The director is fair and friendly, I like her a lot. There are a few counselors that have been there for a long time though, they are awesome and for the most part always willing to help resolve an issue. I guess the biggest downside to this place is all the drama that goes down in the parking lot before the place even opens, lawd there's some crazy folks that go here!

My favorite location to dose at. The director is super nice and you can tell she cares. The receptionist is very nice and doesn’t ever seem like she’s upset to be at work, really welcoming. The nurses are great too but the nurse Tony is the MVP in my opinion 😂 She’s always on top of things when I guest dose there and always atleast seems like she’s happy to be there and to help. In my experience it’s almost a thankless job and most people expect so much and can be super rude at clinics, but this clinic actually cares and does their best and you can tell.

God used HQ to save my life. I attended the residential program in 2019 as a homeless alcoholic and Benzo addict, encouraged to go to treatment by my family. It’s nearly 2026 and I am living the life that God intended for me to be living, 6.5 years sober, rebuilt relationships, a better understanding of myself, and a genuine relationship and walk with Christ. I found hope at HopeQuest, after which I left a career of over a decade and committed my life to helping others to experience what I got to experience in treatment. Every program will have naysayers, but this program is clinically and theologically sound and exceeds best practice.

Having this type of support for spouses while their husbands are getting well, and then even beyond that, is unlike anything I've seen before. What a blessing.

The Trek program changed my life! I love the staff, the therapist and they truly care about your recovery! I took so much away from HQ that I’m now giving back by mentoring. Troy and Melissa have done an amazing job and the support care that they have for the spouses was huge during that dark season. THANK YOU HQ!!
