The podiatrist at Trinka David Clinic listened to my concerns and set me up for further testing. It turns out that I had a fractured bone and a torn tendon (that I ended up losing due to the 5 year wait) and received surgery as soon as it was possible (I had to wait another year due to COVID-19). American medical system is a scam. They don’t want to cure you, just have you coming back like a street addict. If you really want to get off a hard drugs, come here and take Bupenorphine. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn't feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day.
