I am a Disabled Veteran living in Carroll County and have needed mental health service and the Trinka Davis would be convenient to me. I called to schedule an appointment and was told I have to go through the Atlanta VA. The Atlanta VA line was extremely unprofessional, ghetto, and rude and the appointment time was very far out at over 6 months. I finally contacted a mental health professional who tried to encourage me to "group therapy" I told him I did not feel conformable with that. I was told that unfortunately because i did not want group therapy that for a single session I was looking at 4-6 months out. On top of that, I received a call today on 8/25/2023 to reschedule my appointment that was schedule in April of 2022. No, you did not read that incorrectly. This is the reason why my brothers and sisters are taking their own life. They can't get help! I am fortunate enough to have my own private healthcare insurance I pay for.Edit 7/10/2024:I wrote this review last year and as you can see, i was very frustrated. Trinka Davis is not to blame for the bad service, it is the Atlanta VA. I spoke with the manager Sean Seader, whom is fantastic individual beyond words and am changing my review from one star to five, solely based on Sean. The Atlanta VA has been awful and giving me the run-around seeking care. I reached out to Sean and the next day had two appointments lined up. Thank you for caring for fellow Vets, Sean.

My fianc currently does not have insurance and is unemployed at this time. I called Pathways on Monday and asked if they saw patients without insurance and the girl, her name was Ashley I believe, was very helpful and let me know that they do see patients without insurance and walked me through how to get him in. We went to the Department of Labor on Monday and got his income verification, then went to Pathways Tuesday morning early as a walk-in because that s what you have to do to be seen for free. We got lucky and he was seen within 30 minutes of getting there! Every person that works there was pleasant and friendly. The staff at the front were friendly to every patient that came in, and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, and truly care about making sure patients got the help they need. I heard them communicate with people over the phone as well, and they were friendly and helpful. I have a lot of experience with doctor s offices, and worked in many myself, and it is refreshing to be greeted by friendly, helpful, non- judgmental staff. Thank you SO much for your help today, you have no idea how much it means to me personally, but to my fianc as well.

We have been with Tanner for 3 years now and have been through our fair shares of different staff members in that short time. The only and I mean only staff member that I have always been able to count on is Maggie Norton at the Carrollton location. I see Dr. Thakkar as my Doctor at Willowbrooke and I can t say enough positive things about her! She is awesome in so many ways, kind, caring,compassionate and so much more. I also want to say that Tinesha, one of the Medical Assistants , is so professional, courteous, caring and more than anything, she gets things done! If she says she s on it, then she s on it! Very prompt and always calls me back as soon as possible or answer s her phone when I call her and I m sure she s the same way with other patients as well. She s like a breath of fresh air and I wish there were more like her in her field. I would give ten stars to both of them if google would let me. I am starting as guest dosing and will become perm patient this week and I did read ALL reviews prior to going. I have to disagree with these bad reviews EVERYONE from the front desk (Tracey) to the nurse was extremely kind and extremely helpful. I was never made to feel like they were talking about me I felt so comfortable which is why I chose to go here permanently. If you are looking for help don t wait and waste your life and money on the streets I waited to long years thinking I needed to go to a clinic and finally started 2 years ago and life has changed for the better and it will for you too. All that said I agree with another reviewer that once you start this your stuck BUT it s better than looking on the streets for pills etc... your can change your life for the better with MAT it was the right choice for me don t keep waiting start today!

I have attended other methadone clinics but this one actually cares about me. I'm not treated like an addict. They treat you like a person and don't think they are better than you. All the staff care and take the time to help me when I need something. I have been coming here for several years now and have never had a problem. I've recently completed a 90+ day stay at Hope Harbor Wellness, and I was thoroughly impressed. I particularly enjoyed the group sessions, especially the night sessions. The facilitators who headed group therapy were welcoming and engaging both day and night. The wide range of nurses and techs on hand were incredibly courteous and professional, and my therapists were excellent at listening, delving deep into underlying issues, and were easily accessible to me. I also appreciated and very much enjoyed the red light therapy offered at this facility. Many thanks to all the staff for all of their help, expertise and overall caring nature. I highly recommend Hope Harbor!

This God sent faculty and staff saved my life. OG, Chris, therapist John, Chaplin John, Ms Angie, Ms Tiffany, Christian, Raymond and the entire Staff are Awesome. They took me from being completely lost to a much better place.
