Hope Harbor wellness taught me lessons that I use in daily life. I didnt always listen to the lessons, it took me a while to start applying the things i learned and I admit, im glad I came here. The people I met and interacted with were the best times I had, sitting in clinical all day was difficult, but necessary

I've recently completed a 90+ day stay at Hope Harbor Wellness, and I was thoroughly impressed. I particularly enjoyed the group sessions, especially the night sessions. The facilitators who headed group therapy were welcoming and engaging both day and night. The wide range of nurses and techs on hand were incredibly courteous and professional, and my therapists were excellent at listening, delving deep into underlying issues, and were easily accessible to me. I also appreciated and very much enjoyed the red light therapy offered at this facility. Many thanks to all the staff for all of their help, expertise and overall caring nature. I highly recommend Hope Harbor!

My needs were assessed in a quick and professional manner. The entire experience there was respectful to myself and my child.

I see Dr. Thakkar as my Doctor at Willowbrooke and I can t say enough positive things about her! She is awesome in so many ways, kind, caring,compassionate and so much more. I also want to say that Tinesha, one of the Medical Assistants , is so professional, courteous, caring and more than anything, she gets things done! If she says she s on it, then she s on it! Very prompt and always calls me back as soon as possible or answer s her phone when I call her and I m sure she s the same way with other patients as well. She s like a breath of fresh air and I wish there were more like her in her field. I would give ten stars to both of them if google would let me. It s really refreshing when the people you trust with your mental health issues are so attentive to their patients needs. Thank you so much Dr. Thakkar and Tinesha!!

Great Staff, they care

12.6.2024 had a 3rd physical therapy session with Ms. Karletta M. She is always very engaged and helpful. *NP S. Tumlin and her team are always quick to respond and efficient when I have need assistance with health care

I am a Disabled Veteran living in Carroll County and have needed mental health service and the Trinka Davis would be convenient to me. I called to schedule an appointment and was told I have to go through the Atlanta VA. The Atlanta VA line was extremely unprofessional, ghetto, and rude and the appointment time was very far out at over 6 months. I finally contacted a mental health professional who tried to encourage me to "group therapy" I told him I did not feel conformable with that. I was told that unfortunately because i did not want group therapy that for a single session I was looking at 4-6 months out. On top of that, I received a call today on 8/25/2023 to reschedule my appointment that was schedule in April of 2022. No, you did not read that incorrectly. This is the reason why my brothers and sisters are taking their own life. They can't get help! I am fortunate enough to have my own private healthcare insurance I pay for.Edit 7/10/2024:I wrote this review last year and as you can see, i was very frustrated. Trinka Davis is not to blame for the bad service, it is the Atlanta VA. I spoke with the manager Sean Seader, whom is fantastic individual beyond words and am changing my review from one star to five, solely based on Sean. The Atlanta VA has been awful and giving me the run-around seeking care. I reached out to Sean and the next day had two appointments lined up. Thank you for caring for fellow Vets, Sean.

This place changed my life ! I have been to many treatment centers but the difference is the people there want it ! I loved it and would recommend to anybody who really wants it!

Great staff, great recovery, great support and alumni group

Alana saved my life!! I want to thank everyone involved in my treatment. Special mention to my therapist and group facilitator Carlen and to Cliff whose enthusiasm and interest in everything and everyone is something to be admired. I hope to maintain a relationship with Alana as they will continue to help me in my long term recovery. Thank you!!

I could not more highly recommend Summit for your recovery or that of a loved one. It is truly an amazing place with a staff from top to bottom that cares about your wellness and wants you to thrive in the future. Great facilities, great space, great people. It is one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.

I've worked here, for about a year now, and hands down, it's like family. The peers are most important. We make sure we provide proper are and resources for their recovery journey. Staff is amazing from the top to the bottom every role played is just as important as the next.

This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.

Very friendly and seem to really care about my recovery!

I had an amazing experience there! Shaq was amazing, Mac was amazing, and and Cody was amazing!! Also, the therapists that I had there was amazing!!! I still went thru issues after I left there because of my own choices, but I have over a year clean now!!! I even work in treatment now myself!! But I will always have gratitude for GATC and the people there who helped me along the way in my journey!!!

This place is fantastic, saved my best friend from a life of heartache and misery

We certainly have been blessed with our Alumni and Family Coordinator. I absolutely Love Hallie's Energy, Passion, and personality. Her posts on the site are uplifting and always highlight our amazing lives in Recovery!!! I recently left the family group and I very much miss Hallie and the families. She always steps up to share her recovery with those who are struggling and need to hear how good life can be. Thanks Hallie

Dr. Rosenthal is phenomenal - I am so blessed to have her as my Neurologist and the Shepherd Center of Atlanta is blessed to have her as a part of the Shepherd Center Team. She is a true servant-leader; not only is she extremely knowledgeable about MS, but she listens to each patient as an individual person and does not view us as "just" another patient. To say her performance is outstanding is an understatement.

The Shepard Center has improved my life with MS. Cannot thank them enough..
