My 35 days in the PHP program was the greatest gift I could have ever been given. The staff at HHW truly cares about the clients and their well-being. They will bend over backwards to help them and ensure that they each receive the highest level of care and support. The extra therapeutic services that they offer, including Biosound Therapy, redlight therapy, and TMS take a more holistic approach to recovery that makes a huge difference. My therapist, Angela, was a wonderful asset and advocate. Rachel is a ray of sunshine and runs a tight ship, keeping the techs working diligently to support the clients at clinical and in the residences. I called Pathways on Monday and asked if they saw patients without insurance and the girl, her name was Ashley I believe, was very helpful and let me know that they do see patients without insurance and walked me through how to get him in. We went to the Department of Labor on Monday and got his income verification, then went to Pathways Tuesday morning early as a walk-in because that’s what you have to do to be seen for free. We got lucky and he was seen within 30 minutes of getting there! Every person that works there was pleasant and friendly. The staff at the front were friendly to every patient that came in, and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, and truly care about making sure patients got the help they need. I heard them communicate with people over the phone as well, and they were friendly and helpful. I have a lot of experience with doctor’s offices, and worked in many myself, and it is refreshing to be greeted by friendly, helpful, non- judgmental staff. I requested an appointment online and was called a couple of days later to confirm the date and time. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered.
