The journey of my recovery has definitely been a rollercoaster. I had to be court ordered to a program for a year. With devastation, I packed my bags and entered Hope Harbor hopeless and full of resentments for myself and the ones around me. To my surprise, this year has been the biggest blessing I could have received. The staff at Hope Harbor care about their clients and helped me cope immensely with my situation. As funny as it may seem, the clients and staff became like a second family to me. The groups are set to help those dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, and it did just that. I’ve not only seen my life change before my eyes, but I’ve seen other clients excel and become an even more beautiful version of themselves. Self love is something many battle with daily, but the staff encourage and show clients different ways to show love for themselves and others. I have been inspired and filled with honor to witness the change in others and myself. Thank you for everything Hope Harbor. I would recommend this place above all others.

Hope Harbor Wellness Gave Me My Life Back Walking into Hope Harbor Wellness after completing detox from fentanyl, I was overwhelmed, unsure, and full of fear. This place was more comfortable to me than home when I had issues with alcohol intake, the staffs are more than welcoming, their ways of addressing your issues are just topnotch. I really can't refer to a particular staff cos they're all the same, one common interest, to give help to those that need it. Group meetings were just amazing, I found out I started being bold because of them, today am a completely different person from who I used to be, thanks to this place. I strongly recommend this place anyone who truly seek any kind of mental health treatment. I have them on my mind always. Thanks once again for transforming my life from bad to good. Kudos to that decent team!!

I personally will give this facility 4/5, it wasn’t their fault but my own. There was a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication. Unfortunately my parents can be quite stubborn. I just wish for them to know I appreciated they treated everyone the same regardless of disability. Thank you.

My brother is currently an inpatient here, he's set to discharge soon. The nurses have been so great with updating us everyday. He's able to call us everyday as well, and we can set video calls. He states that the nurses have treated well, and they have group session and they even have a gym where he says he works out. We've def seen improvement so thank you to the nurses for being so kind and working with us.

Great place in the 7 weeks there I never got up and regretted going to the meeting. The staff was amazing and treated everyone with great respect I highly recommend this place for recovery for professional patients for sure they target your profession directly getting you the help personally and mentally also completing the needed paperwork.

I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them. In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope. People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

Alana is a wonderful place for recovery. The coping skills you learn are top tier! The staff really cares about your progress and they try to do as much as they can to help you with recovery. Cliff, Darnell, Joy and the full staff are amazing. They definitely help you pack life long tools

Being at Alana was a great experience for me. I had a chance to learn a lot of things about recovery and the mental aspect of what drugs and alcohol does to the body as a hole. I would definitely recommend this place to others such as myself that's trying to get their lives together. I stayed there 3 months,and I wish I was able to stay there even longer,Ms.Laura,Ms.Brenda,Colin,Chris,Cliff,and Caitlin played a big role in my recovery,these are PEOPLE THAT ILL NEVER FORGET. They helped me so much along the way,I plan in going back to Alana to work,once I get enough clean time.. God Bless the whole entire staff at Alana,including my peers that I left when I graduated...Im looking forward to attending The Alumni gatherings.My journey is by far over with. I had a good experience at Alana can honestly say it’s changed my life for the better Mrs Laura Mrs Brittney Were Wonder And understanding the whole time Mrs Brenda And Colin are really kind hearted always made me feel right at home at Alana Mrs Sara Also always very professional when helping with any information or housing. And Mr Cliff The Alumni Director was great tons of energy and wisdom from him his events and meetings were always something to look forward to! Summit Wellness opened their doors to the community for spiritual practices, a true sign of service. The space is beautiful with wonderful energy. Anyone who finds themselves within their walls, no matter the reason for being there, is truly blessed.

I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn't feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren't just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn't forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

I came to this center after a traumatic experience. These people made me whole again. I cannot say how much this place meant to me the 4 months I was there. Caring nurses, wonderful doctors and a cook who knew how to make hospital food palatable. I cannot recommend this place more!

The place was neat and clean. Staff was top notch. I even made a few real connections with them. Many of them warm and caring. Its melting pot of different personalities that care for your recovery. Definitely would recommend the stay

I had an excellent experience at Atlanta Detox Center and truly cannot say enough about the quality of care I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported. The staff treated everyone with genuine care and respect, which made a difficult process so much easier to go through. The classes and group sessions were extremely beneficial in getting newly sober as well. I want to give a special shout-out to my case manager, Christian. He went above and beyond for me—helping with my FMLA paperwork, answering all of my questions, and always showing patience and understanding throughout the process. Having someone so attentive really made a difference. I also want to recognize the behavioral health techs. They were consistently kind, caring, and helpful towards all clients, and it showed that they truly care about the people they work with. Overall, Atlanta Detox Center made a challenging step in my life feel achievable and supported.

North fulton treatment center has been a godsend, one of the best facilities that I've ever encountered. Staff's staff is very amazing. Treatment is very effective. And it is a very safe environmate. I highly recommend. This facility.

ARP has truly been an angel sent into my life. I feel so blessed that our paths crossed. When I thought my world was ending and I was losing all hope, they stepped in—for both me and my daughter. Now, about five years later, I can honestly say they saved my daughter’s life, and in many ways, they saved my family too.
