If you are struggling with addiction please let her help you..she and her staff are amazing and really fast at getting you in and keeping you comfortable!!!!!!! My personal addiction was alcohol..but I was drinking to stop shaking from side effects from Gabapentin and being an artist that could have been career ending and Leigh absolutely saved me 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 if you are suffering from addiction of any sort or type please do yourself a favor and get some help from her immediately….I can guarantee you not only will she get you through it but she will check on you constantly and her staff as well!! Please remember for those of us with addiction. We done it to ourselves and you will not be judged or talked down to you by her or her staff. The grounds are peaceful and the houses super clean and comfortable. They really listen to the women and take their ideas about outings they would like to try and activities they want to do. We especially want to thank Sam, Dylan and Kelsey for the thoughtful care they gave our daughter. They truly individualize their care to the needs of their clients. Tanya is wonderful in her nursing care and Heath does a great job planning meaningful outdoor activities utilizing the beautiful grounds and nature. They do a great job offering housing on property for PHP and it gave our daughter the opportunity to be independent, yet still have her support team in place. The property is beautiful which makes outside time very enjoyable and the house is very clean and very well taken care of. It was such a great place and I connected with so many other people who helped me in my journey as well unfortuantly I was not able to do the PHP program but my experience in residential was extreamly helpful for me and all of the staff and therapists made a difference in my life I am very greatful for the care I got at magnolia creek. He was shot twice in the stomach and twice in the chest. He remained calm and called 911 and told God you saved me once so I know you will save me again. He was born three days after my 42nd birthday and received his name due to a healing when they said he was going to die. His name is Blesset Isaiah Person. After he was named after a Nigerian friend named Blessing and my sister-in-law said to name him Isaiah which means the Lord Saves I called and gave my assistant minister his name and the doctors’ cane in and said look like he’s going to pull through to which I responded there is no look like with God! Anyway UAB trauma surgeons are the best in the country. The surgery took about 41/2 hours. He lost a kidney, his spleen, a piece of his pancreas and has a bullet lodged in his back. First off when I made it to the 9th floor trauma unit Fonda gave me a coffee cake and Laquita continued to take care of me and my family daily! The nurses were heavenly divine. There was Abby Vice my favorite and Abby Hadaway my other favorite, plus Emily, and Shantia my son who relieved me and my son the patient’s favorite along with me. Omg all the nurses were so great. The PCAs’ Jason, Jordon, Brady, Daphne and the rest went above and beyond. As for the doctors’ the Trauma doctors were the best this side of heaven. Dr WAN was so kind and friendly. He explained my son’s condition very well as did Dr. Frutata and Dr Wu who discharged him today! Dr Amini made a great impression on me as well and Dr Weiner. They are exceptional and do their jobs in a manner consistent with excellence. I’m proud to have known them! I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. I have been using this clinic for about 15 years and it has gone through some rough times. At one point some of us had contacted the IG because appointment wait time was 3 or 4 hours. This issue was fixed along with a number of other issues. I suggest for those who have had bad experiences try again. A new clinic has opened on November 15,2021. It is right beside Oxford Lowes. For now I will give 4 stars. After my upcoming appointments I may reevaluate. I have to upgrade my review to 5 stars. The addition of Audio and Optometry to this new clinic has definitely made life easier. The service here has improved 💯 percent over what it was at the old location. The staff is amazing and I have a lot of appointments, so I'm not just a frequent visitor. A special thanks to all the staff who serve us with dignity and honor. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old. From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. I love that THEY OFFER GRANTS that cover all or most of your treatment. Focus is definitely not on counseling here, and your experience can vary pretty widely depending on who you get. I'm currently on a by-the-book stickler counselor, but they never last long so hopefully my next one will be better. I think I've had 5+ counselors I've gone through in less than a year because they come and go so quickly. Dr. Archibald tends to be less than sympathetic to addicts. I'm not sure why people like that work in these places but I guess maybe they start wanting to help then get jaded. One good thing about him though is that he'll prescribe narcotics like Xanax and Adderall on top of the Methadone if you play your cards right. I was scheduled for an endioscopice exam with a liver biopsy. All of the staff were very professional and thoroughly explained all steps of the procedures. The procedure went as planned and the aftercare was excellent. Dr. Eloubeidi and his staff the most professional staff and care for all of their patients with genuine concern. I have received a bile stent every six months to prevent a critical bile duct obstruction. This week I began showing sighs of jaundice and bile obstruction with an infection. We contacted Dr. Eloubeidi immediately and he confirmed out concerns of a septis infection that could have been fatal left untreated. Dr. Eloubeidi scheduled me for an emergency bile stent replacement. He also prescribed antibiotics for the infection prior to my surgery. We made the three hour drive early Friday morning to Birmingham Regional Medical Center where I was checked in right away. The regional medical staff ensured that I was prepped for surgery and that I had everything to be comfortable. The surgery was on schedule and there were no complications. What could have been fatal became a second chance at life. I owe my life to the medical staff at Regional Medical Center. There isn't a way to properly thank these professionals who have dedicated their lives to the care of their patients. The best I can offer is mine and my family's heart felt thank you. If you want the best medical care for you or you family I would highly recommend Regional Medical Center for the best quality health care.
