I spent almost 25 years of my life in addiction. I was most certainly lost in the darkness. I had nothing, no home, car, food, identification, family and most of all, I had no hope. I remember my aunt picking me up from jail one of the multiple times asking me why I didn't consider a program. I was 38 y/o and had never considered the possibility that my life could truly be transformed. My response to her was "it's too late for that, I'm too far gone & I've done way too much damage to repair". I made that comment not knowing the love, faithfulness or magnitude of who God is. The thought of trying life a different way sparked a desire for change and I asked for help. My aunt took me to The Lovelady Center in March of that year and my life has never been the same. I entered the program hopeless and alone with nothing to my name. A mother who hadn't spoken to her children in years. I left that program Mary German, a mom of 3, proud of who God was showing me I truly was, a functioning member of society, A licensed driver with a SS card and birth certificate, a dependable employee, a woman with hope beyond measure, shining a light that only Christ can provide. My hope in writing this is that anyone reading it realizes IT'S NEVER TOO LATE, YOU'RE NEVER TOO FAR GONE & NO DAMAGE IS TOO MUCH FOR GOD TO REPAIR!! The Lovelady Center provides the love and the tools to reach up from rock bottom, leave the darkness and step into the light!! Thank you with all my heart for everything that The center is and does!!

They provide a continuum of care that supports clients through their recovery from beginning to end. Services are available for teens and adults. Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders is a residential treatment prog | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was hesitant to come here at first, but my time at Magnolia Creek was truly such a blessing! The clinical staff were by far the best part of my experience, with my primary therapist and family therapist being some of the most supportive and kind therapists I have met. They challenged my thoughts and feelings each week and I made a lot of progress in each session. The other staff were also great and very kind and compassionate. I will forever appreciate the tools and knowledge I gained from my time here and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for help to overcome their ED. I know it can be so scary to reach out for help, but Magnolia Creek will meet you where you are at and be with you every step of the journey!

I was recommended to Magnolia Creek by my therapist who has had other clients who have had overwhelmingly positive experiences there, and my time at mag creek has been the most uplifting and encouraging experience I could have asked for. I wouldn’t leave this review if I felt any different! I’ve been to treatment a couple of times before, but nothing has ever been as helpful as this. The staff are so kind, funny, and motivating; they really make you feel like part of a family there. The groups really teach you skills about how to move through life in recovery, and I deeply loved the science aspect we learned in nursing and nutrition groups. Music therapy takes the cake when it comes to my favorite groups though, with Anna’s beautiful voice echoing the journey of recovery every week. I found that I took something monumental from every therapy session I had and learned some coping skills that I’ll take with me forever. The campus is beautiful and feels like home, and most importantly you’re treated like an equal by staff, and your needs are taken seriously. That cannot be said about every treatment center and is a true testament of the huge heart of magnolia creek. I’d go back in an instant if I had to re-admit to treatment, but I truly feel like they prepared me with the skills to take my ED on in an out patient setting. I’m forever grateful for my time there. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been part of the alumni community for a few years. I believe I am one of the earlier members. When the previous alumni coordinator reached out to me I was in a dark place and she felt like a life line. I miss the previous coordinator, but I feel like Taylor has been killing it. She is nice, warm and always willing to talk. You can tell she really wants to help. Since joining the alumni group I attend the weekly support meetings as often as I can. Also there is a weekly meal support group that I used to attend but haven’t been able to go recently, hopefully soon I will be able to. I have developed friendships with the other women in the group and have been able to reach out for support and been available to others. Thank you Magnolia Creek for having this community available to us!

They have a wonderful Patient Care Tech!! He’s a cute white guy, They called him J.B. He was on night shift. I think his name was James. But this guy was an awesome PCT. He was very nice and polite to all the patients and he was very uplifting to me and Everyone around him and he also kept everyone laughing. He also cleaned up after us where other pct’s just sat in the area where the Nurses were and some even were so rude and would even provoke patients. 🙄
The Nursing Staff for the most part was kind and caring. Of course you have a few that are A holes but that’s to be expected anywhere you go! The Doctors were also nice and came around once a day.

They are extremely open to working with you as a family, and take great care of your loved one. They show care, kindness, patience, and professionalism.
The incredible progress and help that we received having our family member here could never be repaid. Should you need it, they will be a great advocate for your loved one. Thank you so much!

Update 8/2023...I got a call from Drew several months ago and he was very helpful and nice.
JBS has helped a friend of mine that was homeless.
They helped her get her own apartment, furnished. Without them, she would still be on the streets.
JBS helped her get all types of medical care and they pay for her all of her medicines.
They provide their clients with transportation to any grocery store to shop, twice a month. They have excellent therapists and counselors.
Jbs has many resources for their clients.
I should not have posted a review based on the receptionist. Maybe she was having a bad day.
I would definitely recommend anyone to JBS. They are very caring and helpful.
I saw a counselor with JBS over 25 years ago, when she was at First Light . She was so caring and helpful. (Robin)

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this agency. I suppose it's due to the fact that they do work with a lot of children and families that were referred because of involvement with the law, DHR, or because they are indigent and in need of mental health services. We have been working with project FIND and children's services It has been amazing. My son has turned back into the gentleman he was before adolescence set in. I had a very positive experience while there. The medical staff was always polite to me as well as any of the other staff members I met. I never felt like I was a problem or a burden or causing them an inconvenience when I asked for something.
This VA helped save my life and give me the foundation to lay my new mental health journey upon. My case worker Robin S. was aces! Helped me selected a class schedule-work load that was focused on PTSD.
The only issue I had was the food. The food was horrible but the dietician’s did work with me to change up my personal menu.
There are rules in place for the resident and the rules will not be violated without repercussions. I kept my head down, minded my own business and walked so much around the campus in my down time. Those 7 weeks flew by.
You can have Amazon prime deliver things to you for your stay and your allowed door dash. There are random drug screenings and breathalyzers as part of the stay. These are mandatory not suggested.
Be involved in your care and you will have a great experience. Be a problem and you’re gonna get treated as such.
Thank you to everyone who helped me to get there, while I was there and the after discharge phone calls to check up on me. I am one appreciative veteran.
