This place is so incredibly frustrating! We first stopped going to them because you can not get medications whatsoever from them. You can leave message after message after message and no one will ever call you back. You can go to the front desk and they will tell you that you can not speak to a nurse, but they will relay the message. The same message that you have been trying to get to them for weeks with no return. I finally left and just went to my pediatrician to get my sons medicine.Because I could not get anywhere else to see my son, I, so hesitantly went back here and we are going on appointment number three that they have canceled and tried to reschedule . Each rescheduling being at least one month out. Their management is HORRIBLE!! My son has been waiting for almost a year now and we still have yet to have an appointment follow through. This is the worst medical facility that I have ever encountered! So sad bc they kids desperately need help!

Amazing staff all around. Every counselor I have had was phenomenal, caring and what I really liked was that they had experienced hardship or addiction first hand, so they really knew the struggles. The office staff is great. Michelle is awesome, she's fast, witty and professional. I say professional because on many occasions, I've seen her deal with unreasonable, ornery and straight up rude patients, and she did it calmly, with a smile on her face. Adam is great too. The nursing staff is amazing. Leah and Rosie are a breath of fresh air in the morning. They always have a smile on their faces and seem to genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. I strongly recommend CMS to anyone struggling with addiction.

I loved the place and its staff. The location is good. Great view of the mountains. A good size backyard to have fun in during the summer. A basketball hoop to enjoy throwing the ball in on some days. The food is very good. And have a potlach with other treatment facilities which I think is good to commune with others in the same situation as I. Was able to get lots of help for my addiction. I graduated from here a few years back then not listening to referrals for outpatient I started using again after working. With more of a committed ability I have now I am motivated for another try to figure this out and I feel safe going aback to Chanlyut. I was treated with outmost respect and dignity. Got good knowledgeable skills and had fun that I thought I wasn't going to have again. The sauna is very helpful during spiritual time. I absolutely enjoyed it. Our meetings were always appropriate and respectable to us as individuals in addiction. I felt it was. The outings were always fun to enhance out natural chemistry of dopamine. I did feel a urgently feeling of wanting to live on its terms again. I laugh at that because of my back to addiction life but now it's not a joke because of life is precious. I hope I feel this message will reach out to many. And hope that many are finding hope from this disease of addiction.

And that would be Kate from maple wood. She not only did an amazing job handling hard situations but had very much sympathy for my situation. Now, who in which did not help was Ray from maple wood. Her intentions with me were not only weird but obsessive. I was the kid she favored and let me onto her phone and even taken me to her apartment once or twice. She made unwilling promises like how i would live with her after I discharged. After my time here a year or so, I’ve still had contact with her and I found out I was pregnant.. she had told me that I should give my baby too her. Knowing that I would sympathize because of her telling me in past that she was trying for a baby and trying to surrogate herself. She would also tell me about her sex life and current partners.. she would also be on tinder while at work and sometimes ask my opinion on a person. I went into this facility brainwashed that it was a safe place when really ray was creating more damage to my mental health issues. I don’t suggest bringing your kids here until ray has been handled. I mean look… she literally has 3 bad reviews about her and she is STILL working there as the main staff. I’m sure she’s gonna look at this review and laugh because she knows she got away with what she’s done, not the first time either (she’s read one of her bad reviews out loud to us and laughed claimed the child was the problem)

It was an awful place to be it helped with some of my problems but added on twice the amount. That place gave me more trama than going in. It's sad knowing that this is the best place is alaska. Most of the staff were TERRIBLE. Ray would let one of peers go on her phone had no boundaries with this peer and would let her get away with everything. Once this peer left Ray had my peers phone number which is illegal and told us not to tell anyone,so none of of did. I got the cops called on me for unnecessary reasons. The staff member siu would also get into unnecessary arguments with me all the time. There is so much bad things I could tell you about this place but that would be too many words. Everyone who went there would always try to convince their family's to discharge them but gave up within the first week. This place would make us more sneaky and created much more trama for everyone there.
