There are three outpatient programs for alcohol and drug addiction including outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization programs (PHP). While in the program you’ll engage in various traditional therapy modalities.
Additionally, they offer adventure therapy that may include such exciting activities as river rafting where you’ll learn to experience joy while free of substances. The center is in network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and may be covered by most major insurance programs.
They also offer transitional living programs. The founder and director Susan Stader holds her MS, LCMHC, LCAS, and CCS.
2. Southeastern Recovery Center – Drug & Alcohol Rehab – Concord, North Carolina

Southeastern Recovery Center offers a comprehensive and integrated approach to alcohol addiction. This Joint Commission accredited center is located in Concord with easy access to I-85 and is only 11 miles from NASCAR’s Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Dilworth Center was founded in 1990 and is a CARF accredited nonprofit mental health and addiction treatment center.

Freedom Detox & Recovery Center is a detox and substance use treatment facility in Gastonia, near I-85 and roughly 20 miles from Charlotte.

If you’re looking for additional stabilization then you can continue in the residential program after detox. The program includes individual and group counseling. They offer transportation to off site 12 step meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

7. McLeod Centers for Wellbing – Statesville, North Carolina
