Levels of Care
Outpatient
Outpatient rehabs offer a wide variety of therapeutic programs to address clients’ unique and evolving needs. They are generally most effective for clients who have completed inpatient treatment and are medically stable. Most outpatient treatment centers prioritize addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Many also provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) for clients in alcohol and opioid recovery. Evening, night, and weekend sessions are commonly offered to accommodate clients’ schedules.
Inpatient
Inpatient rehabilitation is typically recommended for people who have complex medical conditions where they are recovering from a serious injury or a stroke and would benefit from a multidisciplinary approach. Inpatient rehab physical means that the patient sleeps at the hospital or an inpatient rehab facility due to the severity of the injury. During their stay, the patient receives treatment from medical practitioners for several hours a day. It’s ideal for people who have experienced a serious medical event and require inpatient rehab physical therapy before transitioning back to life at home.
Clinical Services
Fitness Therapy
Fitness therapy blends exercise with psychotherapy for a fun, inspiring, and effective way of treating addiction and other issues. By incorporating movement into counseling sessions, clients become more empowered, motivated, and goal-oriented, all while strengthening their bodies and becoming more flexible. Fitness Therapy is usually used to complement a course of treatment (inpatient or outpatient) to make it even more successful. Increasing the connection between a patient’s mind and body helps both with healing as well as in creating new, healthy habits.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people who are experiencing difficulty in day-to-day activities due to injury, illness, or disability. This includes occupational therapy for the elderly. From self-care (getting dressed, eating, moving around the house) and being productive (going to work or school, participating in the community) to leisure activities (physical activities, social activities), an Occupational Therapist helps patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the fine motor and cognitive skills needed for daily living.
