I switched from Hartford Dispensary which was a horrible experience.My counselor is the best and really cares about me and my sobriety and other personal problems.Her name is Stephanie. I was a little nervous about going to a psych hospital that was an hour and a half from where I lived, but I have nothing to say but good things about this facility. The shrink wasn't the best, but the nurses and support staff were amazing. I spent a little over 2 weeks there, and it really helped. Not my preferred psych facility, but they really helped. So, if yr having trouble dealing with mental health, and in need of help, this place won't do you wrong. And the food was very good. Once they realized I was a vegetarian, I got great food. This place helps you put things into perspective. After my stay, I know I won't need to go anywhere else. They made me understand that I'm ok. And that's a feeling I haven't had in a while.

The IOP was very helpful for me. A majority of the staff were very supportive and helpful. There is one woman there “beau” I think is how you spell her name. Always giving me dirty looks, I would wave at her and no response. It made me very uncomfortable in a therapeutic setting.

IOL has been there for me when I was at rock bottom. My first time there in December 2023 was ok, the staff was kind except for one tech from the adult unit... When I went back last December, I ended up staying for Christmas, and the staff did their best to make us happy with gifts, games, etc. I stayed for almost a month and started becoming myself again with help from my favourite tech and my favorite nurses. This was the first place that actually treated me like a human being while being in a psych facility. Most of the staff were still there from the first time and they had a better understanding with what was going on. I was so happy they remembered what had helped me last time.

My mom has been seeing Dr Foreman for at least 10 years and she drives 30 minutes for him even though she's nervous driving. She's always said how nice all of the receptionists are. I had a run-in with the police, and I have a problem with authority. So obviously this went bad and the police escalated it to the point where they arrested me. Instead of going to jail care and help me decrease my aggression. Working with the therapist at BHcare I’ve been able to become a happier person and happier and doing the things that I do. Rushford Glastonbury truly has something special going with their evening IOP program. Everyone I have had the pleasure of working with has gone the extra mile to help me in my journey. From the director, to the clinicians, to the provider, to the administrators.
The evening clinicians are extremely insightful and kind. I have worked with many clinicians over the years and have never made progress like I have with the ones at Rushford Glastonbury.
The provider has worked with me closely to get me back on track with my medications.
I cannot recommend them enough.

Wonderful programs full of caring, patient, and respectful clinicians. Their IOP program was top notch. Rushford also has an in-house medication provider that was very accessible and responsive to patient needs. Highly recommend Rushford for anyone looking for a new way of life 🙏❤️
