About Fellowship Recovery Community Organization

Fellowship Recovery Community Organization is located in Pompano Beach, Florida, and they offer peer support services for individuals who are struggling with substance misuse disorders.

They work to empower their clients through a wide range of services. They focus on providing you with life skills, workforce reintegration, computer literacy and educational support to help you achieve personal and professional success.

The Skills You Need to Thrive

They have a Back to Work program that supports individuals in recovery as they come back into the workforce. If you’re part of this program, you’ll be receiving assistance with resume building, job searches, mock interviews and professional presentations through workshops and mentoring.

They also have certified recovery peer specialists who play an important role in the process by sharing their own personal experiences that can help build a connection with the client, as well as give a sense of hope and empowerment. They help educate the community, assist peers in getting difficult jobs that are hard to attain and help with independent housing.

Education and Support for the Future

Another option is their Back to School program that partners with institutions like Atlantic Technical College, Broward College, Sheridan Technical College and Nova Southeastern University. This program offers enrollment assistance, financial aid navigation, mentorship for setting goals and critical writing workshops.

For anyone who might need stable housing, they have a Recovery Residences program that offers a structured environment to be in while you reach full recovery. They provide 12 step support groups, resources and a community that can help support your sobriety.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
